Inconsiderate and rude. They don't care about inconveniencing others as of the world revolves around them moving furniture. I'm literally looking for movers and they ruled themselves out by not be considerate of others and where they live. How does a company come to an apartment complex and be rude to potential customers? The driver of the truck acted as if he owned the place and that my paid parking wasn't his concern and that I needed to wait until they were done with their customer. David and team showed up on time, did a prewalk down, asked how we planned to unload at new house and then proceeded with the loading of boxes and containers as well as disassembling beds & furniture. they were very careful with floors and walls as well as fragile items. Upon arrival at new house, again did a walk down of house, laid down protective floor coverings and offloaded our household items. Reconstructed beds & furniture and placed where we needed them. We had 3 container/boxes that could not be found. Chad (Owner of Cajun) came to the house twice and assisted us in locating the items! Words aren't enough to express our gratitude in this hep! We had these guys move us about 2 miles. They did an amazing job. We scheduled the move about 3 weeks ahead of time. They showed up when they were supposed to. They were very organized and professional. They wrapped what needed wrapping. Moved all our big stuff in a timely manner. They put our stuff where we wanted it and everything made the move in perfect condition. We won't hesitate to use these people again. read more

We're frequent movers with Cajun... I think it's been 3 or 4 times. For various moves. We had a challenging multi part move closing out furniture from one house to another, then rearranging furniture at the destination, then donating equipment to a school and finishing up dropping furniture at a friends. These guys are unbelievable we always hope to see Julio and his team. They are smart, efficient, friendly, careful and wrap and protect your items really well. We're not easy in that once they got here we were incorporating and rearranging stuff at this location. Their attitude is such a pleasure and they are truly professional! I asked for the fees to be broken down and shes pissed because she wants the city after I've given her ZIP AND CITY 3 TIMES. I dont know her problem but its not my fault you choose that job. Maybe they are the best kept secret, but I have to do a shout-out to Cajun Movers for the tremendous job they did moving us from Houston to Louisiana. This company provided excellent service for us, accommodating our changing schedule and taking great care of our furnishings during loading and unloading. Aldo and his team were amazing! Even in the August heat, even after a 2-3 hour delay on the interstate, they showed up and worked so hard and with great attitudes! My husband and I contacted Cajun Movers to move some large area rugs around in our house; dispose of some rugs, etc. Easy job, right? No. These two gentlemen had to move our heavy glass dining table, dispose of the old rug, and recenter the table and chairs.....and I'm picky. Then, they had to move all the living room furniture out of the way, turn the living room rug around, center it properly, and replace the furniture on the rug. Next, they had to move the bedroom rug to another room and lay it correctly, then break down the bed and lay the new and much larger rug under the bed and the sofa in that room. They put the bed back together again, and even made it back up for me. They patiently waited and helped me clean under everything while the rugs were being moved about. Movers are great fast and reliable. But Michelle the front office staff is RUDE and has no customer service skills. I've used this company twice before and never had a problem until this last time. Before you use them ask to speak to someone besides her that may have better customer service skills and is willing to work with the customer. read more

If you are reading this review, sit down and prepare to be AMAZED!!!!! Seriously, I've moved many times over the course of my adult life. And it never has been a pleasant ordeal. Really, who likes moving? But when you must do so, Cajun Movers is the ONLY moving company that I'd choose. And, in my opinion, the reason is simple: THEY ARE THE BEST!!!! To say that I was unexpectedly overwhelmed by their professionalism, speed, attention to detail, and kindness is an understatement. In truth, I was blown away!!! First, I must give kudos to Donna. She is the young lady with whom I first conversed. If I am not greeted with kindness from the person who is my first point of contact, I will not do business with that company. Donna is the "face" of the business, and Chad (the owner) chose well in putting her in that position. She is kind, considerate, personable, professional, answers all questions, provides follow up, and attentive to detail. Now, for the piece de resistance: First, Fred. And second, Louis M. Wow!!! And let me repeat it again, WOW!!!! Fred is unbelievable. He conducted the initial assessment, and after watching him, I requested that he lead the movers. Why? Because I was taken aback by his competence and thoroughness AND his outstanding level of stellar customer service. Wow!!!! And here's the unbelievable part of my story: Fred didn't just meet my expectations, he EXCEEDED them. Fred & Louis M. packed my items, the next day, Fred, Louis M., and Louis moved them. Nothing was broken or lost. They handled my items as if they were their own. Fred and his team exhibited the ultimate in professionalism and competence. They worked hard from the moment of their arrival until the job was done. They didn't sit around chitchatting, taking long breaks (in fact, they would grab a snack or drink water and continue working). And Fred set the standard. On the first day, during the midst of their packing, I called Chad (the owner) to rave about them. And on the second day, I called again. Yes, Fred and his team are just that darn good!!! I have moved multiple times with the large carriers and this experience was far superior as 1) it is always his employees (not subcontractors) and they are courteous and hard working 2) you deal directly with Chad, the owner, not a large carrier salesperson 3) with the high quality and service, his prices are still reasonable. These guys do absolutely great work. They moved our 5 bedroom house from Katy to New Orleans and could not have been more professional. They built wood crates for our larger mirrors and artwork and everything else was carefully wrapped then boxed. And with lots of info written on the boxes so we could easily find items. I normally don't write reviews, which sounds cliché, but I had to write a review on the excellent customer service provided by Cajun self storage. I worked closely with Jasmine and Donna(if I have their names correct) and they helped me out in a bind when my family and I had to move out of our leasing situation where we were in between closing on a house. They had storage units open and available, they were friendly, priced great & they appreciated that I was bringing business to them and they really made me feel at home which I greatly appreciate. I also gave them a rating of five stars due to the fact that we received piss poor servicing from our moving company named packit movers ("The One Movers" on Groupon). They stepped in and helped us in a time where I had to go out of town and I didn't have enough time to lock my storage due to the tremendously slow work of the moving company, so they were willing to take my lock and put it on my storage and monitor my unit until they could confirm that it was completely moved in and locked. They reached out and text me the next morning to let me know that everything was good. I would definitely recommend to anyone else in the area to use their storage. The storage space is huge, they're clean, they have friendly customer service, and great pricing. You can't beat that with a stick! I greatly greatly appreciate them. I told them once everything was done I would leave a review and I'm a man of my word. Cajun self storage is a beautiful location. If you ever have a need for moving in the local area go to this location as opposed to going to those large franchise chain storage companies which will hike up the prices.
