Till this day, I have not received an apology for leaving me hanging or anything. I do not know if it was because of the Astros game was on or what but a common courtesy would have called and told me he wouldn't been able to make it. I texted to verify the arrival time the day of and was told they would need an extra 30 mins. I called at after 50 mins and was given another excuse of 45 mins. I told them I wanted to cancel which then was given more lies and the person got mad at me for not wanting to wait even longer. Steer clear of this company at all cost. I would have given a half star or zero but yelp doesn't allow that. And the topper, the company will not return my security deposit after 5 days. Calling and texting will not do anything. On top of the lack of follow through, a few days after posting the initial review, my bed collapsed in the middle of the night. After coming to and realized what happened, I looked and the platform was installed upside down and the supports never tightened. It's fine if you don't want to assemble things, but A. Don't advertise that you will and B. If you don't assemble it, do not put the mattress and box springs on it so that it looks ready to use! I've now spent double what it cost to move replacing and fixing things they broke.

I used Great Movers July 16, 2022 to move about 80 boxes, a table, and 2 shelves. (This was a 1 bedroom on the first floor move, however I lost everything due to water damage in the apartment. So I had very little to nothing to move. I hired movers for the 3 pieces of furniture I had being too heavy for me to move) Loading the truck with my items took them 2.5hrs, when I was located on the first floor and less then 10ft from where the truck was parked. All the items where in the living room, as I tried to help make the load up a smoother and easier process for the men. For whatever reason this still took them that long to load up. When trying to ask what was taking so long, the men would ignore me. Once it came time for final payment, I was shown the charge, provided my card and signed. I asked if I could get what was just shown to me, I was told that it would be emailed. Then the Hellman quick lit locked his phone and went to the truck. When I received my invoice via email, I noticed the charge was different then what I signed for, when I provided payment. They charged me an additional $294.72, when further looking at the invoice, the time was edited, I was charged for boxes, tape, and shrink wrap (none of which I used, as all my items were packed up, taped, and shrink wrapped by me) and none of this was shown when I provided payment. When reaching out to dispute this, I was told that "all moves are different and can take time due to many different factors". They could only offer a $50 credit. Which is a slap in the face considering how much money they took from me. They stole, edited the document after I signed, and took advantage of me. I strongly believe this was done because I am a single female and the men moving thought they'd be able to take advantage of me. They will not give me back the $291 that they stole from me, because I do not have proof of them editing the time, and not using their tape, boxes, and shrink wrap. Stating that since I have "signed" for it, it is valid. What I signed for when they left to when they edited the invoice are two different thing. I will never use or recommend Great Movers! However, I will tell everyone how they take advantage of single females!!

Allen Beaulieu, the rep who I made the original contract with, sold me on the idea of the "Full Value Protection" which boasted up to $100,000.00 coverage on my home goods. I paid the extra cost for the "full protection" because he assured me that any damaged items would be much better covered with the insurance. This was apparently a lie as it has been 2 months since I filed my claim and the company has repeatedly advised me that the insurance company was still evaluating the claim, and that there was nothing Graceful Moves could do until the insurance company made a decision. There are no rockets are science involved in this transaction. I paid Graceful Moves to move my furniture. I paid for the extra insurance which Graceful Moves recommended. Graceful Moves broke my table and they now refuse to make any payment despite the fact that I had the "Full Protection" insurance. Use Graceful Moves at your own peril.

A guy named Kevin was able to fit us in and work with our ridiculous schedule because our apartment had some last minute date changes. They sent 3 guys over to move from a 2 bedroom apartment to a townhome. I have never seen such an efficient group of movers that navigated so well and made my life so easy. I literally did nothing besides stand there and eat a sandwich. They finished the whole job in less than 3 hours! I was surprised how inexpensive it was and they didn't trick me into extra costs. I've dealt with other movers who you could tell just wanted to run the clock and waste time and get you to spend way more. These guys were amazing! No messing around, they came in ready to work and got it done! Very nice and kept me informed about any issues that came up while moving.
