Very efficient moving service that I would recommend to my friends and family. They also beat the estimates of other movers I called. In the end, I was happy to go with Pinpoint Movers anyway because they are family owned. I opted for a 3 person team. They moved quickly and the gentlemen that came to move my things were so kind. I was impressed with how they communicated with me. They gave me a one hour timeframe of when to expect them but called me at the start of that timeframe to let me know how many minutes away they were which was helpful because I was able to run a quick errand since I knew when they were arriving. They moved fast and efficiently. Very impressive. It was hard work as I moved to a third story unit with no elevator. In the end I had a couple of small cosmetic nicks to an end table and a nick on my doorframe, but all in all, it was a successful move in my book. I had a disappointing experience with this moving company. Everything was already packed on my end except for the larger furniture, so I expected the process to be fairly straightforward. Two movers arrived within the quoted window, which I appreciated, but unfortunately the rest of the experience did not meet expectations. The move took significantly longer than anticipated, especially compared to my previous moving experiences. As a result, the total cost ended up being nearly double what I had expected, which was very frustrating. To make matters worse, I discovered that several items were broken or damaged during the move. Used this moving company because of the great reviews but had a lot of communication issues. At first, I spoke to James and he is so amazing with customer service. I had a small window waiting for a container to be delivered from 2-4 and Pinpoint only had a 3-7 window to unload. They were kind enough to book me and I paid for 2 hours of service. I asked if they could wait until the container was delivered so they wouldn't come and there was nothing here for them to unload they agreed and said it was fine. The day of service: Pinpoint called me and said they finished a job early and wanted to come "asap" and I told them I am still waiting on the container to be delivered (it is only 1pm at this point it's still way too early). They rushed me and told me I only have 2 "options" that they would come at 3 and start the timer of 2 hours of service and start overcharging me if I went over which I don't think is fair when they gave me a 4 hour window. I was very stressed because I can't control when the container is getting delivered. The container ended up coming before 3 (before the window Pinpoint booked me for) and then Pinpoint said they are still working on another job and won't come until 4... They called me and rushed just so they can take it back because they were still working that could have all been avoided... Pinpoint rushed me for no reason and made me really stressed. I wish they were more patient and understanding of my situation. I felt like I was being respectful and doing my best to work with their time but they did not respect my time. The container ended up coming before the window and the movers were able to unload everything but the rushing was very unnecessary. The movers themselves were nice and efficient. There was a hefty 2 hour minimum charge and the movers only utilized one hour to unload my belongings. I wish they would refund me for that hour not used but they pocket the money. read more

Terrific job from Ismael and his partner. They arrived to my apartment within the window that I was given and the entire interaction with Ismael was very professional. They safely transported everything across town for me and were very quick and efficient. Ismael was very friendly and easy to talk to, I tried to not get in his way too much then quickly realized that he knew what he was doing and left him and his partner alone while they worked. 10/28/2023 Service window given (1-5pm)/Worst move ever. They arrived/5pm Per movers they completed 2 to 3 moves prior to mine and complained about how they were exhausted . The one guy who spoke English well enough to communicate but yet had an English barrier but we were able to break through (driver/who was the one who actually worked) as far as the other gentleman he could not speak English well to communicate nor was he really helping the other one. He was more of a hindrance to the one who was working. Therefore there was only one man really working and this is where lost time was created. All items were packed (1bedroom apt) and it should not have taken them 2 hours to leave from the apartment, but again it was the end of the day (their 3rd move, their exhausted and it was only one who was truly working which was the driver. The other one here again spoke no English, he was a follower who stood around and waited upon instruction and could not take the initiative to do his job. So we can see how how much time could be lost. There was only one man truly working when there were suppose to be two. I purchased a smaller unit this particular time, which really wasn't a problem when I informed them to move the furniture only into the storage and and I will get the rest as I did. However the non worker would bring boxes in. It initially took them too long to start with when it was already packed and ready to go. I did learn one valuable lesson through the process and it is never get an evening crew always morning. I was contacted by the owner who then rushed me into paying the extra pro rated 2 and a half hours because she was about to close and it was late. I attempted to communicate with the owner and she really didn't hear me out because payment information was her concern and it was around 7ish which she stated it was late she needed to close and bill. They gave the contracted crew a window of (1-5pm) and they showed up at 5 so on their end they should have anticipated the time frame. At any rate, she/owner did not hear my valid concerns which prompts this post. Throughout our phone call she had no compassion, empathy, and did not listen/hear what I was attempting to explain. Remember I was in the middle of a move and dealing with 2 men both with language barriers one that work and one that didn't, they were exhausted from the beginning of my move starting at 5pm, but yet I should be empathetic to them (because they were on their 3rd move) and the owner (because it was late and you had to close and bill). If it was a move at 7am or 5pm I should have gotten the same courtesy and energy as someone that has a morning move. However, I did not. I have moved with Pinpoint three to four times and never had an issue until this time. I also referred others and the moves were from Houston to out/town. At this point I will no longer refer or utilize their services again. Reached out to management via email with no response. read more

This is a conniving and dishonest operation. After filing a formal complaint the owner texted me and said, "Goodmorning C--t." Unbelievable. Especially when the number was traced back to her. Did she not know this?!? Apparently not. One of the two movers was good but the other not even close. My Dish boxes (3) and Xfinity box were all left behind. I had to drive 70 miles round trip to retrieve the Dish boxes. Never located the Xfinity box. Pin Point says they aren't responsible. An expensive solid wood bedroom dresser just three months old was damaged with two inch long deep gashes near the bottom of one end. I was given .60 per pound the weight of the dresser. Since I didn't have the true weight they guessed 200lb. read more

Being pregnant at the time, I was hoping for a less stressful move so I hired Pinpoint Movers to partially pack my stuff and move me out of a simple one bedroom apartment less than 1 mile away! It turned out to be the biggest disaster move from start to finish and was sooo stressful, long, expensive and inefficient...the worst I ever experienced!!!!They charged me a whopping $1902 for this move and even tried to overcharge me by $279 more by charging the deposit twice but luckily I caught their mistake and made them refund that amount. I paid for 3 professional movers and they were anything but professional working at turtle speed and running up the clock! Their packing was so slow, inefficient and wasteful. I would find a box full of wrapping paper with only a teapot inside just so they can charge me more for materials! They took forever to try to disassemble/reassemble my bed complaining that my canopy bed was too complicated. WTH, I thought they call themselves "professional movers"?!?! Two of the men didn't speak English so communication was tough. They moved a few small boxes at a time on a dolly which was so slow and inefficient heading to the parking garage each time. These guys were so slow that they ran out of time and were going to leave some of my stuff behind expecting me to move it myself later even though they knew I was pregnant! I left to go to my new house with my dogs thinking they would be joining me soon but 3 hours later, they still didn't join me. The move started at 9am and it was 9pm and they still weren't even finished. I finally had to put my foot down because they were totally taking advantage of me and complained to the manager/owner to expedite the move. Lucinda came with her husband to bail them out. How is it that a husband and wife with kids in the car were able to move so much faster than these 3 men that were suppose to be professionals? They made me pay for their extended time and Lucinda only reduced the time by 1 hour. I didn't think that was fair but I said whatever because I just wanted to be done with this crazy move from hell at 11 pm! Adding to insult of this disastrous move was that 3 of my expensive perfume bottles ($360 total value) were missing when I unpacked later. I noticed it was missing early on when I unpacked but wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt and finish unpacking ALL my boxes before I reported them stolen to Lucinda. That took time since I had a baby and had to recover from a C section to be able to unpack all the boxes and that's the reason to call months later. I never want to accuse anyone of stealing unless I'm absolutely 100% sure. Lucinda didn't believe me and told me that "it will turn up later" because her lead mover Saul would never do such a thing. She gave me such a hard time and challenged what I was telling her not even realizing that there were 2 other movers there who could have taken it when I was at my new house and they were unsupervised at my old place taking their sweet time of 3 hours to join me. She said they were only going to pay 60 cents per pound of the perfume bottles which was nothing and that there was no haggling. She totally insulted me and my intelligence instead of trying to rectify the situation with paying for even half of the value. No apology just accusing me of being wrong...what great customer service!!! I am so done with this shady business. I lost so much money over this which I won't get back but I at least I can warn others not to do business with this shady company. I use Pin Point Movers August 1,2020 after a few months of unpacking I discovered a few of my boxes was missing. I file a police report than contacted Pin Point to let them know what happened. Ray I guess a manager/ supervisor claim the mover had been working for the company 2yrs and don't believe any of my boxes was taken that they probably left the boxes on the truck accidentally and probably give them to the next customers which sounds like BS to me. I have yet heard back from Ray. PLEASE COUNT YOUR BOXES. Customer was good I have 3 men and a truck I also gave them a tv microwave lamps etc plus each a 20 dollar tip. Let me list the way I have recommend to friends and family. First we the move itself, great care by crew was more than one could have expected. This moving company was amazing. Every time I spoke to the front office they were friendly, polite, and very accommodating especially since I had to change the moving date 3 times. I needed a moving team to pick up items at a storage unit and my house to move to an apartment. The moving crew was very professional and on time. They took great care with all my items and nothing was damaged. The reason for the 4 stars instead of the 5 is because they had misplaced some of the screws for my furniture. These were located later on, but this did add some stress for me because those screws belonged to my baby's crib and I needed it assembled so he could sleep that night. read more

Worst movers ever, if that is what they really are. . They arrived at our apartment on time, but they started whining about an electrical box that the apartment complex had with about a five foot clearance between it and some stairs. They went back and talked, another of the movers came up and starts looking at our stuff, we told him that there was a cat under the couch, anyone with ANY intelligence would automatically think oh it's hiding. The guy says is it dead? I and my girlfriend thought he was joking and we laughed and said no she's hiding because she's scared. He goes oh ok, I'll be right back. A few minutes later ANOTHER guy comes up to our apartment and says that they are having truck problems and that they will have to send another truck, I asked what was wrong? He said they were having ignition issues, at the same time as I hear the truck start outside. He said he wasn't sure when another truck would show up but we could call their office, we said ok. Wait about 30 minutes and my girlfriend calls their office .The office tells us that the movers had told them that we had something to do and had canceled for the day. We told them that no we hadn't canceled, they say that they will have to check and call back in an hour or so. My girlfriend called back an hour later. The guy that answered the phone said that the movers told them that we had a dead cat under the couch and that they didn't feel safe moving us. Our cat was and is very much alive and was scared, like any normal cat would be while moving, and ANYONE with ANY intelligence would and should have known that. First they whine about an electrical box, next they lie and say they are having truck problems, then lie saying we had canceled then they lie and say we had a dead cat under the couch. I recently was looking to move my apartment to a storage place. I originally wanted to use the company I used before, but I totally forgot their name and I couldn't find it in my emails. Naturally, I looked on google to look for local movers. I came across Pin Point Movers and requested a quote. They immediately called me, and sent me a quote via email. It was average pricing at $95 an hour, 2 hour minimum with a $60 travel fee. They called twice that week to see if I wanted to move forward, so I agreed. They have a window between 12-3, they arrived around 1pm. They were supposed to come with wardrobe boxes which they didn't (they knocked off $20 off the $60 fee for that), everything was "ok" until it came to my dining table, (they didn't have the tools to disassemble,which I was told by whoever I scheduled with they disassemble furniture) , they spent a good 20 minutes trying to disassemble it, another 10 asking my apartments for tools, they eventually had to holster it down from my patio because they couldn't take it apart. Got all the way to my storage only for said table to be broken by the leg because of how one mover was carrying it. Spoke with management and they were filing a claim ... terms of claim .60 for each pound of the table (even of the table was 50lbs that's only $30) that's not even remotely enough to replace my table. Spent over $400 because of the time spent figuring out my table that I have to know pay out of pocket to get fixed (it'll be WAY over $30) find a more professional company. I would give them zero stars. Sorry to be the one person to express my dissatisfaction with the moving company. I called this company two week before my move, I listed everything that would be moved. I was asked if I needed a two or three man crew, of course I did know which was needed, but I was assured that a two man crew could do it. I said okay I explained to her that everything would be ready to go, I would wrap everything that needed to be wrapped myself and they would just need to load it up go. I told her, I would like for them to focus on the heavy items first, if they had enough time they could load some of the heavier boxes. Of course she was very polite and told me know problem. I received a call on Friday confirming my move with James T., I express with him again I only wanted the guys for 2 hours and to move as much as they could of the furniture. Again he was polite and assured me that they could do it. James T. said that they movers would be there between 1 - 4 and that they would call 30 mins before arriving, they got there about 3:24, no call. The move started at 3:36, I walked and showed them all the furniture that needed to be moved. Right away Elmer started telling me that that was going to be a problem. I said let's just see what can be moved in two hours. I kid you not at 3:53 Elmer tells me that he can't take anything else, they we needed to stop if I was going to be moving to a second floor. I was absolutely shock. They moved a couch, dresser, chesterdrawer, mattresses for two rooms coffee table, small buffet, and a cabinet and my son was helping them do that. So I called the company and was told that he should work one property for about an hour and be at the next property for any hour, Megan said that she would call her movers, okay so the moving halted while he was on the phone with the company ... no moving going on ... so I go out side to see why nothing is being moved ... he is on the phone, I stand there for a while and the whole time he talking to the dispatcher in spanish so I don't know what is being said, about 15 mins. I saw him on the phone twice. Now when we are heading to the second location which is 8 mins away, we left the house at 4:24 and arrived at the second location at 4:41, an 8 min drive took 25 mins, he was driving about 20 - 25 mph, we were in a residential neighborhood and the main street speed limit was 40 mph, I didn't expect him to go 40 mph but I did expect that he would drive a little faster than he did. So I drive, so that I am keeping up with the normal flow of traffic, while not leaving him to far behind, then I realize they have the new address, so I go ahead. I get to the second location. I sit and I wait because I have to let him in the gate, he never comes. So I turn around and go back to find out where he is and he is sitting parked on the main street with his flasher on, I guest he sees me and starts driving again. Now we are going into the property, I think that he is behind me because I am driving slow, nope he's not he must have been going 10 mph. He passes me up, I had to get back in my car and go find him again. With all the issue I had with these two mover lost about 40 mins of move time due to the shananagins going on. He also scratch a piece of furniture, and then told me that it could have been there before the move, told him it was not. My personal opinion is that the guys were tired and when they got to my residence and saw how big and heavy my furniture was they just didn't want to work that hard. Elmer went so far as to say it was too much for just two movers. I was EXTREMELY disappointed and would recommend this company to no one, and now I have to rent a u-haul to get the rest of my furniture that was not taken.
