Tera Moving IS TERRIBLE! I HAVE TO WARN people about this company. DO NOT BOOK! It's UNETHICAL how they took advantage of women in need. I really needed help being sick and also caring for my elderly mom & ended up worse off after this experience. Never experienced anything like this and I've set up plenty of moves (even gave them the last move info as proof) I literally gave them so much time to right their wrongs (2 mo) and was completely blown off by their sales guy Scott who told me "You're a headache" after I'd asked to be refunded for the stolen time he & his guys finessed (video proof to go with their GPS) & damages ( which I only reimbursed & asked for the sleep number mattress repair & not the scratches, scraps, & chips out my furniture and walls of my brand new home). So long story short I hired them to move 2 places to 1. I was only offered 1 truck & crew also told it could be done in 1 trip which I was skeptical about therefore offer to use my commercial van and ultimately decided to leave ALL my large appliances and an entire room behind even moving all the packed bins to the porch which were loaded in about 20 mins. Leaving living and 2 bed rooms to be loaded and then I noticed the slow down & the beds taking extremely long to be disassembled & loaded. Due to the workers not knowing English I had to use translator and Scott to communicate which only made the process worst bc not only did the miscommunication cost me an extreme amount of time but also money. The move ended up being pushed back, taking an additional day, and not 1 but 2 extra trips. In which I did not approve of 1 of those trips that the workers purposely took just to get more time only moving ONE DINING table leaving all my things that couldn't fit initially, the appliances, & a package they specifically asked if I'd liked delivered was purposely left behind and I watched them discuss it on my Ring cam also provided it to Scott who claims he's presented the info to the owners but after speaking to him a few times I then understood it all was a lie and Scott was the most sketchy of them all bc he set it all up from the misleading calls and neglecting to send my invoice after the 1st day. As I'd told him I'd never allowed them to move the remaining things the next day had I saw the additional 4 hours for those guys making a blank 2 hour trip with 1 table after I'd been told they were done for the day costing an additional $600 (for a table worth less than $100) and left me hanging with all my things they'd just unpacked in the garage for me to fend for myself after I'd ask for them to be taken upstairs or at least in the home (it took over 2 months to get all my things inside and unpacked ). All of my instructions were disregarded and it was only 1 worker willing to actually listen to me. I tried resolving the matter with them asking for at least half of the $600 over charged hours back showing the time stamps so you can see the table picked 6:47 pm & arrived 2 hrs later around 8:50 pm. Afterwards I given the run around when I spoke to an attorney, refused info, until finally just given a email after asking Scott several times for the owner contact or whomever handles legal matters for the company he's nonchalantly handling business for. Fast forward the stress took me down a few weeks, my attorney suggested bringing them to small claims court myself since they've already cost me so much time and money but I'd be letting more people get scammed if I do not speak out. Therefore I will be reporting them on all review platforms and the BBB so customers are aware and don't fall for the pretty yellow stars bc if I could not leave any I would. read more
