I had a great experience with 911 Houston Movers. I needed their help on 2 separate occasions a week apart. First needed help unloading a U-Haul truck and the next week actually moving everything from one house to another. The drivers for each move contacted me about 30 minutes before each designated start time to let me know they were on their way and they showed up on the times that were booked. They did great work and wrapped all furniture and other items that needed additional protection. Would definitely use them again for any big item moves int he future. read more

Cons: they didn't arrive at the provided time, but they arrived as soon as they were done with the previous jobs. Pros: they are very reasonable which is a plus in this economy! Pros: they filled the truck in ones visit! Pros: very patient drivers. I had left my key at the old apartment and had to drive back to get it which was up the street while I was doing that they unloaded majority of the stuff so the move was halfway done. They just needed to put it inside.! Pros: I advise others to use this company if you don't mind them being late. But overall, the prices was gonna keep me possibly coming back. They do keep you updated. They will call and let you know what's going on and then if you call the company, they will reach out to the driver just to check on them so thank you have a great communication.! read more

USED 911 MOVERS AGAIN! Why anyone else...duuh?! I think this crew was name The Speedy Gonzalez Crew, these guys don't play (911 Houston Movers don't play around). I absolutely had my choice of choosing others for my move, but why when I had such a "get it done crew" for my move out; this time I was moving in! I really want to sincerely thank Ashley for being SO patient, kind and understanding. I must have cancelled and rescheduled at least 7 times due to my work schedule, rain and unforeseen circumstances. I can't say enough about her professional attitude and understanding, I promise I just knew she would ask for a deposit, decline my move or give me attitude with how many times I had an excuse for rescheduling, cancelled or not returned her texts or phone calls immediately (it really was madness, MADNESS I tell you). I really and truly want to commend this business for how they TAKE CARE OF BUSINESS! I only ordered 2 movers but they showed up with 3, I said screw it I'll pay for the 3 let's do this! The guys didn't take a break until there wasn't anything left to put on the truck, only then it was to take a leak and pour water on their heads to cool down in this Texas heat. They worked like time was money or time was not on their side; if that makes sense. Everything was handled with care as before, they was on time and great communication on site! I hired 2 movers from 911 and they were prompt and hard working. Ended up being an 8+ hour day just because I had more stuff than expected (I should have hired 3 workers) .They worked non-stop to load and unload. They provided the proper equipment and moved large furnishings up and down stairs without hesitation. They were a bit disorganized with how the truck was loaded leading to some struggle getting everything to fit. They were careful not to damage the furniture but the walls suffered some minor dings. This was almost unavoidable because of the winding stairs and size of the furniture. Overall I was very satisfied. read more

I requested a quote for moving service. I was told to text the details of the move and after doing so I received a quote. I accepted the quote via text and was told to provide my name so the move could be booked. I provided my name as requested. Moving day comes and I reached out to confirm the time they would be arriving and was informed that my move was not on the schedule and my move was never confirmed. I am not sure what else I was supposed to do!???? There was no remorse or apology given for them dropping the ball. I followed their instructions as they provided. When I was contacted to be told I was not on the schedule I was made to feel as if I did something wrong and it was a bother to her! They say they do furniture assembly, not....said my tvstand had too many parts to assemble. Took them 5 hours to move my one bedroom apartment to another one bedroom apartment. Damaged some of my things, coffee table, chair leg, hooked my headboard up wrong. My bill was $570 gave them a $130 tip, plus gave them a dining table, large wall art and microwave. Recently I requested information from 911 Movers regarding an upcoming move. I got a short quote for a certain amount of dollars per hour and travel service charge. I sent a request to see if they would come to my house and give me a more detailed estimate. I was told - " we don't come to houses". I contacted 3 other movers who instantly asked what day would be good for them to come look at the house and give me a detailed estimate. After the other positive responses 911 Movers would never get my business or a recommendation for my friends. It appears that the way they make their money is to upcharge clients during the move. I am now being SHAMED for wanting an estimate. I only wanted an on site estimate and now she wants people to weary of me. I wanted a service and I didn't ask for a flat fee move just an honest estimate. I am getting my move with an honest company and an honest estimate. I am not the problem. read more

From the communication of me arranging the movers until they left my door step it was exceptional. I could not recommend these movers enough they went above and beyond. We were in such a pinch moving my senior parents out of their 30 yr home and into an apartment, and in a Hail Mary pass I called 911 movers to see if they could help that day, and miraculously they could. They moved our heavy items to storage for us and it took such a load off of our plate and was worth every penny, and more, honestly. I was so happy with the move to storage, that I asked if they could do the big move into the apartment, too, and fortunately they could.
