This might be the cleanest storage facility I've ever seen! I could probably eat off the floor. I mean, I wouldn't, but I bet I could. April was amazing as were all the lovely people I spoke with. I got the online discount and reserved my unit, and the next day (or three - I admit nothing), I went in to finalize the rental with some general paperwork. Easy peasy. Check your homeowners/rental insurance before going in to see if they cover storage. PS requires insurance, which is pretty standard. The cheapest they offer is $11/mo. read more

When I checked in, I brought my own lock - as their email said they will automatically charge you $20 for a lock, but if you have one they will refund. I brought a lock that looks identical to the photo. Throughout the facilities they have these locks on storage units with a piece that says "please see manager." The manager told they didn't accept those locks. I told them they were present throughout and mentioned to see management. They continued to push back and said I had to use theres. That was frustrating, as it was very conflicting. Otherwise, my stay there was good. read more

I've been with this facility since 2019. In the last 12 months I have had two rent increases. My Storage payment went from $95 to 120, to $132, to a whopping $172! And the last increase was given without notice AND my unit is in the market now for $110. And told me they had to see if I would qualify to go back to my most recent payment amount.... IF I qualify. I qualified but due to the abrupt increase I need a few days the get the extra. And guess what I was hit with a late fee. Which also WENT up!!!! From $25 to $31.50. Wow .. just wow. This is how loyal renters accounts are treated. The grounds itself is clean but it does have less carts available for use. read more

Elevators stay broken. Wendy is the manager and she is so rude! Their elevator was broken and I was asking for help, but instead she argued with me that the elevator wasn't broken AS IF I don't know how to use an elevator. Few minutes later, she puts up an Out of Service sign and admits the elevator is broken. She doesn't even apologize, just brushes by me. That was two weeks ago. Their ELEVATOR IS STILL BROKEN. How can you retrieve your heavier things from 2nd floor storage? They told me to use the stairs. I called the district manager, Danya about it and she has yet to even return my call. This place is a joke! I have 2 weeks on my month-to-month lease and I'm so outta there. read more

We got a small climate controlled storage space here. It was a great deal. However, it is shady AS HELL here. I almost stepped on a USED condom that some guys dropped in front of my storage space. Of course there were blunt wrappers nearby. I don't feel safe knowing customers here are using their storage space as a motel room. read more

When I arrived at Public Storage on Audelia I met a smile. Connie was very professional and cordial. She was very helpful and kind to a client that was leaving the unit. But as I was inquiring about a storage unit she explained everything in detail and locked up to go show the unit to me. It was for my brother who had to leave a toxic relationship. She provided a card of a mover who she said was a nice guy and we actually used him. You will not be disappointed by utilizing the services at this Public Storage. read more

After my first experience with Public Storage a few years ago back in Atlanta, I should have known better than to use their services again. Yet six years later, and in a new city, I decided to give them another chance and am once again regretting that decision. First off, the facility and my individual storage space are really good so no problem there. There is gated access and you can enter from 6 am to 10 pm. The problem lies in their pricing scheme. I have a 12 x 25 unit that I signed for $141 per month. FIVE MONTHS later they raised the price to $257!! That is more than a $100 difference and not even half a year into my rental with them!!! They did THE SAME THING when I rented from them six years ago in a different city, so clearly it is their unscrupulous policy. I'm quite disappointed with that shady price gouge and will be moving my things out of there as soon as I can. Shame on me for going this route after the first experience. read more

10/10 would NOT recommend. The office hours are 9:30-5/6 depending on the day and the gate access you're supposed to have is from 6a-9p. On October 12th, I went in at 2:30pm and asked to verify when I have access til. The employee was very nice said 9p. So great i come back at 8:30ish and have someone who drove 1-1.5 hours to come pick up furniture with me only to find that the access is turned off. I go in the next day to complain. The employee says "oh yeah, we think the construction knocked it off yesterday at 5. (Which is before the office hours close) so I call the customer care line because even though incidents like these do happen, if I would've been notified like "hey we lost service so you won't be able to get access." I could've rearranged things and not wasted mine or the other persons time. Would not had been a big deal. HOWEVER, when I call they basically tell me "oh well we don't send reminders out for stuff like that it's not our job." Oh, so I guess you don't work with the public or in customer service. My bad. So I make a compensation claim because mind you now I have to MISS work to get this done and RENT a truck to deliver said furniture. The truck rental being 100+ dollars. and missing out on a 300+ day at work. So not only wasting my time but losing money for this company. Only to find out they will ONLY be offering me 25 dollars for the inconvenience. needless too say I'll be moving out shortly and taking my business elsewhere. Clearly they don't "care" about their customers like they say they do. SO my recommendation is DONT use public storage in general. They don't value their customers. Have a great day. read more

DO NOT RENT A UNIT HERE!!!! I rented a 10x10 climate controlled unit to ensure my wood and leather furniture would not be damaged by heat and humidity. The air duct over my unit dripped water on my stuff and damaged it. The office manager said they are not responsible for damage or theft or the condition of their building or equipment and since I did not sign up for their insurance my only recourse is to file a claim with my insurance provider. read more

Very shitty experience. I actually bid on 2 of their larger units on an auction. Upon realizing how much things were really inside both I came up to the conclusion that I needed longer than 48 hours to be able to remove the things. On both storage units I rented out the entire month. So not only did I Pay about 770 on the auction for the units itself. I paid another 320 to rent the units out. My boyfriend had asked someone to help me remove items, on days that I could not due to work and child care. It's not my first time purchasing units either. The person didn't have the key to the lock so he called and left voicemails asking if they could help upon no answer he bought another lock and cut off the one on it. During the day about 3 pm. When the office is open. In the daytime. Which this was a week after I rented the units. The next day I have the property manager accusing me and my boyfriend of stealing stuff on the property. Which there's no possible way since we were at home. And I ask what was stolen, they could not give me an answer but that nothing was stolen out of anyone else's units or the office or anywhere else.. so what was stolen? Absolutely nothing. Then when I pointed out that shit didn't make sense she said it's cause I had an unauthorized person removing my belongings and I had 48 hours to get my stuff or I wouldn't get a refund. During the week, with no for warning. So basically that was impossible so about 1100 down the drain not including the rental trucks and gas I spent trying to remove the items. Public storage fucked me out of a bunch of money and they knew exactly what they were doing and on top of that falsely accused me of theft. Fuck this place and the people in it. read more

I needed a storage unit quickly and found the perfect size nearby. My expectations were exceeded when I visited the facility and met the staff. Robin excels in customer service and my application was completed quickly. We then visited the unit, which was clean and easily accessible. They have great security measures in place. And, I received a follow up call from the manager to make sure I am happy with my unit, staff and property. I was pleasantly surprised at how great my experience with this Public Storage was. I went on a busy Saturday afternoon and expected to wait forever, but I was in and out very quickly. Nick assisted me, and he could not have been more helpful. He was polite, knowledgeable, thorough, and efficient. The process of renting (paperwork, payment, etc) was very quick and easy (partially because I had reserved the unit online to lock in the great price, and I had completed some of my information online as well). The office and storage buildings are very clean. My storage unit is in a brand new building; I'm the first renter of my unit. Awesome! It was easy to use the free flatbed carts (just leave your ID at the office to get a key to the padlock). The only downside to this property (and it is minor) is that it's a little difficult to get to it the first time you go. There is no entrance from the 635 service road - the only entrance is from northbound Audelia, and if you don't turn early enough, you will miss that entrance too. But once you know that, it's easy peasy. By the way, this location was $24/mo cheaper than the location two blocks from my apartment. Driving the extra mile was totally worth it! I highly recommend this location. read more

She was understanding to my circumstances and let me know what options I could pay with. The facility is ALWAYS clean and safe. Monthly rates begin increasing after six months and then go up every year by an average of 10% per year. That has been my experience for 6 years. You can get their lower rates only 1) cancelling your contract 2) moving out of the unit into a different unit. read more

Completely unprofessional and misleading. My girlfriend was looking to rent a storage unit and of course they were discrete in their costs (the $1 for the first month is extremely misleading.) Once I arrived at the place, I was met with hostility and rudeness from Brandi, the manager. I value great customer experience and I see it everyday from many well-run businesses, but this was far, far from that. I asked to sit down and look at the contract and was told it was almost 6:00 pm and they 'had to get home.' I asked if we could just cancel the unit, and was told it was set it stone. I have told many friends who live in the area to steer clear of this place and seek out other storage units. Customer experience should be valued, but Brandi and this PS location clearly thinks otherwise. read more
