That's when I realized it's almost impossible to reach any property manager due to the fact there isn't one on the property, also the number listed no one will ever answer and good luck receiving a call back after leaving a message. By the time I got a response out of someone, I had already cleaned the mess the rodents made so I couldn't provide pictures for insurance. 2nd and biggest incident. I got rid of 75% of my storage and wanted to move into a smaller and cheaper unit. Again no one answers, almost 2 weeks later I get a call back, and of course it was after the 1st. Now they want to charge me for the current unit plus the new smaller one which is a load of crap when I tried to move 2 weeks before the first. Now after trying to dispute and talk to someone else, another month has past and now my fees has snowballed. Lastly, it's up for auction with no explanation of disservice. Stay away from here!

Construction outside and Public Storage hasn't done a good job for posting signs, how to enter this location. I called costomer service to get refund so I can rent a unit at another location. Poor costomer service, they said even if it has only been 12 hours , they cannot refund anything, only thing they can refund is lock and key. They have strict policy on refund, but not on delivering what they charge for. I decided to just deal with it and went there to move in my stuff. There was no light. It was pitch dark in there. Huge safety hazard. I called costomer service again, I was told that someone will reach out to me. I got call back 8 hrs later, if I still need help. I told them about dark and no light in there. I was told that use my phone torch. That is what property manager do when making rounds. I am not just making rounds, I am moving my stuff, How should I hold torch with my hands full, every time I called I only got the answers like , sorry about that, I understand etc. No solutions offered. I asked for refund, oh sorry you signed agreement that indicates that it is all non refundable. They should have also mention in the agreement that property is under consideration, pot holes. Unpaved area, nails and sharp objects by the entrance, unit is dark. No power. So I know what I was signing up

We have lived in Garland 40 years; I live near the facility on Crist Road. I have both a storage unit and a trailer parked there. One night or early morning the trailer was stolen, and they were "ON IT". Called us in the middle of the night, showed my husband and GPD great video footage of how they broke into the gate and shows them driving off with the trailer. We were able to get the trailer back unharmed due to their quick action. When you call them, they answer the phone personally day or night. The prices are lower that the conglomerate chain on average as they save in the marketing area due to superior service, word of mouth keeps them full. They have a fair agreement plan, and do not try to lock you in a contract for a specific time frame. The business ethics alone are outstanding and again, I say this is a direct result of being a small business and the importance it has. I don't know this as fact, but I am sure that many times the owner has been approached to sell to a big national or even global company but chose not to. Tells you volumes right there; she cared more about her customers, her community, and city by not "selling out". Who knows how rich she could have been taking one of those deals. These are the OPITIME of people we want in our city. Virtue and common sense, turns out have real impact. Here are a few other reasons: Economic Impact Job creation: Local businesses are major employers. They often provide jobs to people in the community, helping reduce unemployment and boost local income. Money stays local: When you shop locally, more of your money stays in your community. Local business owners are more likely to spend their earnings locally, which keeps the economic cycle flowing. Better Customer Service Small businesses often offer more personalized, friendly service because they value their relationships with local customers. They tend to go the extra mile because their reputation in the community matters. Community Character and Identity Local businesses contribute to the unique charm and personality of a town or neighborhood. Support for Local Causes Local business owners are more likely to support schools, charities, and community events. They're often the sponsors behind local sports teams, festivals, or fundraising events. The bottom line is that locally owned businesses have a much more vested interest in the community on every level and will look out for the interest of the community over that of a national chain like Walgreens or Walmart I can't say enough good things about the personal customer service, easy terms, and fair pricing. When the movers arrived 20 minutes late, I was informed that the cost would be based on square footage instead, increasing the remaining $835 by over $1,000. The mover refused to give a final quote until everything was loaded and was rude and careless, damaging my apartment during the process. He held my belongings under duress, demanding an additional $850, claiming it was a "deal." After paying, I discovered he left items at my old apartment and poorly reassembled my dresser, using my tools to fix it. A week later, he called accusing me of lying about the apartment damage, despite my photographic evidence, and offered to "fix it" so I could drop the matter, also refusing to share his name or company address. The owner, Olvin, was also rude and unprofessional, dismissing my concerns with profanity. Their conduct throughout the move was unprofessional, dishonest, and disrespectful.
