They tell me there is more parking coming out back. Entrance from back is needed too for at least foot traffic. This will help when the main entrance is full of vehicles. Jason is the guy who runs this place and he goes out of his way to make this an attractive option for storage. He cares, he tries his best within the constraints he has with corporate SSS. I now have 3 units here. I think that says the most. I had one when I posted my original review and despite the shortcomings I hit, Jason has earned my business. This place isn't perfect but it is better than the many I've dealt with in the last 4-5 years.

Facility was also clean and well laid out! I LOVED that there is an indoor space for rentals and a large canopy for returns. I've gotten caught moving in bad weather so many times so this really helped in the rain! I have moved A TON in the past few years so I've used a lot of Uhauls and penskes and any other self-moving truck rental. This honestly was the fastest and easiest rental process I've gone through. I was picking up a couch from a friend last minute so I made a reservation for a van the same day online. I tried picking up the van through the website but was having trouble on my phone so I went inside and the employees were more than happy to help! Overall very satisfied with my experience and will definitely come back for the next time I need a uhaul!

They and their main and regional offices all responded extremely quickly to my complaint and wanted to make it right. That's very much appreciated. I think a great solution would be to not bury the fine print so far from the pricing but put a short notice below the pricing for each unit - simply that price is subject to change at anytime with 15 days notice. I certainly would've paused and considered other options. Original one star review: Bait and switch pricing. Increased my rent 65% after less than 3 months with only 20 days notice. You have to scroll down 6 pages to find the fine print that says they can change pricing at any time with 15 days notice. This is a summer storage unit for my daughter's dorm and we're not local so it wouldn't make sense for us to fly out and move to another facility. Will never do business with them again. Utterly ridiculous and shady business practice.

Hallways are clear, lights are motion censored, obvious climate controlled. Plenty of carts to use for your loads. Cons: America gave me a map of facility but such tiny print made it difficult to use. Simple reflective numbers as you round corners would be extremely helpful. The pad for access code, the hand sensor to open the door leaving, the elevator buttons, have all seen better days. America was busy in the facility and out of office when we arrived. The sign on door said 1245 return, almost hour and half later. Called the facility number, remote customer service bot, etc. America did call us about 20 mins later. Explained that when she is rounding, she can't be contacted by customer service (no beeper, cell, walkie-talkie) etc. That's an issue for customers needing assistance ie needing a lock cut off or someone needing a storage unit tour. My sister was clearing out her storage unit. We had movers scheduled. It was a smooth process after a rocky start. America is an asset to this facility.

When I moved out I saw that there is a camera now. 11 units were broken into and oddly only two in my row. Kind of seems like an inside job since they track each visit. I hardly ever went there. Plus the units broken into weren't consecutive and seemed more selective. The whole experience was a giant ripoff and a terrible waste of money. Management was friendly and the price was perfect for my 10x10 unit. It started at $54/month and then after a few months it went up to $64/month. No biggie. Then things started to change. Last month I found a dead mouse in my unit. The manager came and cleaned it up, but I was still quite disgusted. They did give me a discount on my next month of rent there, so that helped a little. I was initially going to post a review when I found the mouse, but I decided to be gracious. Now they have the GALL to not only increase my monthly rent, but DOUBLE it! So now instead of paying $64/month, they have gouged their price to $128/month without ANY upgrades or changes in their end. This place is an absolute rip off. As soon as you move in, they will expeditiously increase your rent and then eventually double it! Do not rent here! I can't wait to move out! Terrible ethics and terrible management! I've been a wonderful tenant and they STILL doubled their rent. Absolutely unacceptable.
