After a full day in Seattle me and my crew were Hungry and ready for a meal not a snack! A member of my party has celiac disease (cannot have any gluten, even a trace) so it's always a challenge to find a place for them when in an unfamiliar city. After some research Pub 70 seemed to have options and it wasn't too far from where we were already. They were pretty busy (about 7:30 pm) so the wait was about 30 min from ordering to table. But it was all very delicious. They have a gluten free fried chicken, that from what my party said was fabulous and worth another trip someday! They also had a gluten free bun and a dedicated fryer for gluten free fries. They loved the sweet potato fries and whatever seasoning was added to them was really pleasant. Now onto my daughter and I. I had a large plate of Mac n cheese topped with kalua pork it was comfort food at its finest! Topped with bread crumbs toasted, and so yummy. Only thing it was missing was a little BBQ sauce. My Daughter had a Pub 70 burger and garlic fries. Both were perfectly cooked and seasoned well. I was hoping to find some basic pub food on the waterfront but this place disappoints in every way. Fish and chips were greasy and undercooked, burger was huge and underwhelming. The garlic fries were so intense that I'm still tasting them hours later. Convenient location with a good view, but it's worth looking elsewhere for a meal. read more

Massive upgrade from the paddy's food that was here before. Aprils special was chicken and waffles. Best waffles I have had since COVID started. Food is far better then what paddys was offering. My husband and I have eaten here twice and are so impressed by the variety of food and drink choices and gluten free options. Only one star knocked off because they don't have gluten free buns/bread available for their sandwiches. Not sure why it seems like a no brainer...it is so easy to keep some stashed in a freezer and viola, now your burger and some sandwiches are available to celiacs and those who are gluten sensitive. Went on a recent sunny Saturday afternoon. The server and host were super friendly and accommodating. Got the wings and some garlic which were a little bit on the pricier side (caveat: I'm still getting used to recent higher prices everywhere, so perhaps it's on par with other restaurants and pubs), but delicious and way better than I would expect for pub food! read more

Don't bother, apparently they really don't want your business. Requested a table outback and informed they had none when there was three open. When I asked again, was told we could take one of the tables to only have the other two that sat after us be waited on and served. We never did get served or checked on by the waitstaff. Went to the bar and grabbed beers and then returned to the table out back. Bar tender was cordial and apologetic but it would seem the rest of the staff could care less. read more

Please avoid. Terrible food and terrible service (except for hostess who was pleasant and helpful ). Our waiter was awful - didn't take order correctly, never brought my beer out, and never checked to see how the food was. Ordered chicken and waffles and had to send back because the syrup had turned bad. Wings and burger had no taste. Walked in for Happy Hour at 3:15 (it starts at 3). 3 staff stood at the door and just looked at us. No greeting. No "Can I help you"? We told them we'd stopped in for a beer. We had to ask if we could head for the bar. Ultimately we saw the deck was open so we headed out there and seated ourselves. We scanned the QR code for the happy hour menu. The menu indicated beers were $1 off, but there was no beer or drink list and no prices. When the waiter came, we asked about the beer list, he told us that the beer list is inside!!! We just looked at him. Were we supposed to go inside to find out about the beer??? He did ultimately leave and return with some verbal offerings (pale ale, porter, bock, Irish ale, etc) without the names of the beers or prices. Whatever! We made our choices and also ordered a plate of nachos. The beers came promptly. The nachos seemed to take a while and they arrived not hot or even warm (although the cheese was melted) and soggy. Not even one crisp chip....which means they had been sitting, waiting to be served to us for probably 10 minutes. The place had maybe 3 other customers when we arrived. They were not busy at all. They have a long way to go with customer service. I doubt we'll go back. read more

We did not have a very good dining experience here. The service was horrible it took 30 minutes to get drinks and an hour to get food. The kitchen must have messed up and they did not bring our five year olds food until ten minutes after the rest of the table. They offered no apology, nothing. This restaurant was absolutely delicious!! We had the cod and chips, the clam chowder, elote, and everything was hot and fresh and so flavorful. Service was a tad slow however they were working so hard, just looked to be a little understaffed, bit during covid it's hard to find employees I hear. We just happened upon this place and man were we blown away. My wife got the clam chowder and fish & chips because she was wanting some seafood. I got the chicken wings and pork belly tacos. First the clam chowder was seriously the best I've ever had in my life. They throw a few extra flavors in there that take it to a whole new level. The cod for her fish & chips was huge and the batter was very tasty. It's not saying much but it was definitely the best I've ever had. The fries were good as well. My wings were seasoned with the dry rub and it was one of the best wings I've ever had in my life. The dry rub was phenomenal, the wings were big and they were crispy. The pork belly tacos were flavorful but if I had one thing to complain about would be they're messy because they use small tortillas but load them up. It's very messy when you eat them. First world problems, I know. Their beer selection was nice sized. I was worried about coming to Seattle and finding nothing but IPAs because of all the hipsters here. You know what? The experience I had there yesterday was very unpleasant. I go in there and ask about seating because Id never been there before. Mind you I'm a black male and the only black person there. All I wanted was to sit with a view of the waterfront so I ask if they had other seating as opposed to the sidewalk view. Again, I've never been there. The server, a young woman already had an attitude when I asked the question. "This is all we got" she quipped seemingly annoyed. So I go outside and grab a table. I order some food and drinks. The server was very pleasant and chatty with the table in front of me and I didn't have any issues with my order. But when I got ready to leave she ask me if I wanted a box to go because I hadn't finished some of the food I ordered. I said yes. Then I sat there. She bring my check but no box. I tipped her 20% no box. She comes back and chats it up with the other table and doesn't bring me a box just goes back to seeing other tables. She does this a couple times when she comes back again I say can I have that box, please. "Yeah" she says smugly goes back to serving other customers walks past me a bunch more times and doesn't bother to bring me a box so I can leave. It's 30 min at this point. Finally I'm frustrated so I get up and go inside to ask for a box but I forgot to put my mask on. Can you guess how the bitchy server responded when she saw I didn't have a mask on? Oh she used it as an opportunity to demean me and get in my face and yell at me. I explained to her well if you'd gotten me my box I asked for 30 minutes ago I wouldn't got up without a mask. Then she after giving me the bulkshitvi had other tables excuse even she was chatting it up with the white couple in front of me multiple times, she tells me I have to leave and didn't even let me leave out Of the front door with dignity or courtesy. she basically forced me off the back patio! I have never been more infuriated at a dining experience. I have been a GM for 20 years and have been numerous times since relocating here. Today we came for brunch and arrived at 12:18 we sat outside so we ordered from the bar. To start when your bartender has only been working for three days perhaps they need to take a menu quiz before starting since I had to show him what's on your menu 3 times to get my order. One Bloody Mary, two waters, one brunch chilaquiles with hot sauce, one biscuits and gravy. At 12:47 he came out to ask our name because he never put our order in. We at this point we're slightly annoyed but it was a gorgeous day out so fine. 12:53 our food arrives with our Bloody Mary, we asked for silverware and waters. When the food runner comes back I explained there was no poached egg or hot sauce, to which he said that's a side item you have to ask for. I then proceed to show him your menu, my husband eats his meal and he says he is going to get my egg. 21 minutes later , no egg, ice cold food, I walked inside to speak to a manager. I then watched my egg sit in the pass for an additional 8 minutes while he ran other tables food. Watched him switch the plate on my egg walk out side past me with the egg. The manager on duty said she was helping make drinks never acknowledging me, I loudly said I wanted to speak to a manager.
