FOH people lacked customer service skills and when I would ask questions, they would not necessarily acknowledge me and would turn their backs without a response. The attendant will cut as large or small of a slice as you'd like and it's weighed and sold by the pound. You get the option to have it heated or take it home to bake on your own. The pizzas were absolutely delicious and the service was great. I'd like to give four stars because it was great but not the best pizza I've ever had. I'm going to give three stars due to the price and the location. The outdoor seating faces a parking lot and the pizza was so expensive. I'd definitely only order it again for a special occasion due to the price but the location is not really a special occasion type place. For 3 of us, I ordered a 'square' of mushroom and another one of nettles plus 2 'odd' slices that looked interesting while I was waiting for pickup. The total came to about $35 plus tip. All 3 of us LOVED the pizza. The crust was crisp/chewy/delicious and it was clear the cheeses and other ingredients weren't bulk sourced. The sprinkling of beautiful arugula and grated lemon zest were a lovely touch. My favorite was the mushroom pizza and the potato with copa pizza. They were definitely not skimping on mushrooms. We stopped by this place for lunch while driving through town. I'm so happy we did. The sourdough crust is amazing and they sell the pizza by the pound so you can tell them what size slices you want to eat of each flavor so you can try many flavors in one plate. It was amazing. We had potatoe, dill and chili oil, a sausage and marinated onions and pepperoni which had the most delicious red sauce. The is small and eccentric and the bathroom is a must see with photos of famous musicians in bathrooms. super fun. We also had the ice cream served in a cute coffee mug with a cookie on a beautiful glass plate and beautiful old silver spoons. when we ask for a to go box they offered to wrap it for us and folded it in a neat tiny envelope they made out of foil. they pay attention to every detail. Love this new pizza spot!! The pizza is top notch, customer service is great but what I actually love the most is the style of service. Pizza is served by the slice BUT you choose how big of a slice you want, then they cut it for you and weigh it to determine the price. You can have them heat it up or take it home and heat yourself. It's everything I've always wanted for a pizza spot - sometimes you're super hungry and need half a pie, other times you just need a little slice to get ya through. Plus you can mix up your slices and try multiple different flavors! They have plenty of vegan, vegetarian and meat options so everyone's taken care of. I don't believe there's a gluten-free option but there's 2 different salads on the menu currently, both are amazing just like the pizzas, super fresh and flavorful. They also bake cookies in house (chocolate chip is my fav) and have a lovely selection of beer and wine. Plenty of dining options inside/outside or to go. The staff seemed happy and really excited to bring a new and special "pie". It's not pizza, it's not quite focaccia, and it's not flatbread either. I was pent up for a killer slice after trying local pizza options that barely hovered above mediocrity. I heard the buzz on this place so I'd been meaning to visit... ...and am delighted to report that Psychic Pie is a gem! I ordered the four-cheese pizza topped with the fried egg available for brunch and we couldn't stop exchanging superlatives. The al taglio pizza has a fresh, from-scratch approach, starting with their house-made sourdough. There's a sense of inventiveness and care to the food; from the caramelized olives to the perfectly seasoned tomato sauce, the nuances display real craftsmanship. Someone is clearly minding the details (I got the sense that the bearded gentleman who served us spent ages refining his approach). I asked for the four-cheese slice because I wanted to experience the basics that can get a little lost when your pizza is loaded with various meats and veggies. It's hard to make something as deceptively "simple" as dough + sauce + cheese sing but it was a knockout. The pizza came out piping hot. The bread was fragrant and had a great interplay of textures, with the crispy, charred bits juxtaposed against the chewier insides. I could taste really intriguing cheese choices beyond the usual mix of mozz and fontina, etc; I don't even know what they were but the taste was so distinctive. As I said, the tomato sauce popped with flavor. And the egg must've been some local, pasture-raised marvel because it was incredibly tasty and complemented the pizza beautifully. The egg was neither a runny mess nor overcooked, but at the bullseye of softness with a degree of medium solidity. Someone in a positive review below felt the price was a bit steep, but I didn't see it that way. You get what you pay for and Psychic Pie is clearly investing in premium ingredients, which is worth it in my scale of values. I often spend just as much (or way more) on far less satisfactory meals. My favoite part about the pizza I ate here is how it transfigured my inner life. I had been feeling anxious and pretty down, to the degree that I could not imagine anything cheering me up for days. I wasn't merely hangry, but profoundly low in a way I couldn't escape. And yet...you know how food that's greater than the sum of its parts can cease to seem like food for a moment and feel like so much more? Something about the nourishing warmth, flavors, and obvious love imbued in the pizza I ate elevated the experience beyond, "that was yummy!" to also make it feel memorable, intimate, magical. I left feeling uplifted and more resilient, which I'm grateful for. Thank you! P.S. My one suggestion would be...most of the dippers on offer seem to be spicy but I'm a wimp for heat. This little place, on highway 116 in Sebastopol, near Hole in the Wall and Viet House, across from Handline, is a gem. I'm not a foody, so I don't know how to talk about food in an inviting way, but I know when something is special and this place has some magic going on. I think it is their love for what they are creating. The humble creators are the ones serving up the pizza. At least they were when we arrived at 7:00 pm on a Friday night, they close at 8:00. They sell the pizza by the pound. We had 5 different pizzas, one with potato, one with cheesy garlic, a mushroom, a pepperoni that didn't skimp on pepperoni and my favorite was a vegan squash pizza! I don't even like squash and I'm not vegan. They are friendly, humble, and have a magical place. I tried the Margarita which was the best pizza I've ever had my entire life. There are no words to describe the yumminess of this pizza. They make a sourdough crust from scratch of course. Which is so delicious and fresh. Light and crispy. They proudly explained they locally source ingredients. I also ordered a squash pizza to go which I heated up with their printed instructions. Also beyond words with it's deliciousness factor. I know where I'm going for pizza next time I want pizza. I noticed they have a kale salad on the menu though I didn't try one this go round. This is a cool place. My review is solely based on the pizza. Vibe checks out. Employees were cool. Not a great drink selection unless you like beer. Only soda four the kids. No bottled water. My problem is my pizza was way under done. It's pre baked to start with. Then reheated which I have no problem with. However they just didn't leave it in the second time long enough. The cheese wasn't even all the way re melted. Zero crisp. Just a floppy soggy mess. Tasted amazing. Just needed another 3-4 minutes in the oven. Maybe that's what they intended but I just can't think that pizza is good when it has no undercarriage. Worth a second try but I hate having to ask for it crispy or well done. This place should be on every "best of" list in the Bay Area. You can find great NY-style or Neapolitan pizza in Sonoma county (pizzaleah, diavola, rosso, hazel, Raymond's, huria's) but no one makes Roman-style pizza and that is what differentiates Psychic. I've eaten here more than a dozen times and each time I'm surprised and delighted. The dough is a 3 Day slow rise. They literally pickle their own veggies for toppings. The my MAKE all the toppings for the soft serve. They use meat sourced from local sonoma county salumi houses. And they make some of the most eclectic and unusual flavor combinations. This pizza is outstanding. It is best eaten on site--I've also done takeaway which is great but eating it there is the way to go. My first and last visit. Got the sausage (it's pork, not Italian) and pickled onions. It was 8"x8", enough for one good appetite...for $24!. My bad, they did say 20cmx20cm on the website, but I didn't notice...wouldn't have ordered if I'd realized. It was dry cause there's a painting of sauce, only enough to color the dough. On the plus side, the quality of the sausage and onions was very good. Cheese OK. As expected, the directions (once you finally find them...they don't give them to you and hard to find on the website) are deficient. However I used a toaster oven and not a pizza stone, cuz I wasn't about to fire up my big oven for such a small piece of pizza.
