We had a wonderful experience with PQR Exteriors in 2023 after a hailstorm. Our representative was instrumental in getting our insurance company to cover the replacement of our roof, as initially they sent a 3rd party adjuster out who tried to deny the claim. Fast forward to September 2025. We had a leak into our bathroom during a rainstorm and assumed it was a leak on the roof near a vent. PQR sent guys out within 4 hours to take a look. It turned out to be a leak in our siding. The roof guys worked on temporarily stopping the leak, and are coming out to seal up the crack this weekend; free of charge. This team is wonderful, and will be our go to for roofing needs in the future. I can't say enough good things about these guys! read more

1-Star Google Review I had an extremely frustrating and disappointing experience with this company and will never work with them again. Their communication is unprofessional and aggressive, with constant threats of liens and contractual obligations--even when the billing mistakes were entirely on their end. They overcharged me for painting gutters that were never painted and ordered a sliding glass door when I had already hired a third-party company to handle that. On top of that, their third-party contractor tried to overcharge me for windows, which was yet another billing error. After overcharging me and issuing a refund, I simply questioned the final bill, and instead of a professional response, I was immediately bombarded with emails from Nick and Rachel threatening to place a lien on my property on the same day my insurance company confirmed the bill was accurate before giving me a chance to even pay it. I have notified my insurance company not to refer them again, and I strongly advise others to be extremely cautious when working with them. Wow this company is pathetic and predatory. They have been going around our neighborhood door knocking for over a week, have been to my house 3 times despite asking them to never come back. Have a no soliciting sign and they ignore it. Don't care if they wake up a sleeping baby at home, etc. If you do business with them you are a sucker. The Insurance Company is Travelers and even though they are not the least expensive, they are one of the better ones out there. Travelers sent the amounts of money allocated for the repairs, including the roof replacement, paint the front of the house, replace main window from Master Bedroom, replace roof in 2 sheds, gas grill, gutters, hot tub cover and a few other things. I work long hours and leave the house very early (bear with me). The night before the roof installation, I started to make room for the new roof so the workers can place the new shingles on the side of the house or in the front, so I started moving away most of the junk that was sitting there in both sides but didn't finish so I had to get up a bit earlier than normal to move the trailer on one side and some metal sheets and 10 foot pipes sitting on the floor. I started at 3:30am and left the house around 4:20am which is the regular time I leave the house to start my day. Late in the afternoon that day I received a call from my Insurance Company agent, he wanted to know how the roof work was done and I let him know that the crew worked really fast and by the time I got home they have already finished the replacement, but they didn't replace the gutters and the ones in front of the house were bent. He told me that PRQ had told him that they were going to increase the roof bill by an amount equal or above $1500 because they had sent a special crew sometime during the night, with tarps to cover the shingles packs that were on the floor (by the side of my house) because it started to rain heavily and they didn't want the shingles to get wet before installation. That day I told him that I walked around the house cleaning up and that there were no shingles at all around the house or anywhere near the house. My agent asked me straight up: "So did they lie about it?" And I told him: "Yes!" one hundred percent. We didn't talk about it anymore because he said that he would handle it properly. Now, PRQ is asking for the money that the Travelers allocated for the roof, and they are not going to fix anything else. They are threatening me with putting a lean on the house if I don't pay 2K above the amount they agreed with the Insurance Company but also say that the cost is higher because they are entitled to the $5,000 deductible that I thought was supposed to be paid to Travelers. The lady I spoke was no only firm but rude! I never received any itemized expense report even though I asked several times for it, to see what am I really paying for. PRQ refused to do the rest of the work needed to fix the house, I asked them if I have to give another $5,000 deductible to the next company I hire in order to finish the work they refused, they answered that they are not the other Company and they don't know what the other company is going to ask for. As of today, PRQ still demanding I pay more than $2,000 out of pocket. They already told me: your account is now in "mechanics lien- warning status" . I cannot say enough good things about this company. We have had to do A LOT of work on our home. Which means we have met A LOT of contractors and industry professionals: new gas lines, foundation fix, 4 x tree removal, water heater, new electrical box, new AC and furnace, new paint, new roof. You name it, I've done it, I'm also a global procurement manager so professionally I manage thousands of vendors, including many in The professional services realm. I've seen it all. We and 2 neighbors got our roofs replaced by PRQ in the same weekend. The salesperson was so helpful and professional, that our neighbors just sent him to our house and that's how we met, fast forward 6 months to a snowy and just generally gross Colorado winter, we are selling our house and a roof leak came up in the inspection. I call PRQ, (it is a company holiday and I did not know that) get a person, he tells me it's a holiday so he can't get someone out right then but asks for details, I tell him all the deets and he says his specialist will contact me soon. I'm assuming that will be anytime in the next week, after several follow ups because that is my standard experience. THIS PERSON TEXTED ME WITHIN THE HOUR WITH A TIME FOR A FOREMAN TO BE AT MY HOUSE THE NEXT DAY. And remember, it's still a company holiday and they are all helping me. Today: said person texts me that the foreman is almost to my house, right away in the morning before 10am. Foreman arrives, he checks every single part of the roof, he is so friendly and kind to my incredibly needy pit bull mix and stops to pet her often. He finds the leak, takes tons of pictures and fixes it right then and there. After this I need all these documents to give the buyers right? I don't know how to get them and I have a hunch they were provided to me initially and I just can't find them, so I'm feeling sheepish. So I text this nice person (Levi is him name, BTW) and ask for all this random stuff. You know what he does? Says NO PROBLEM and he sends me EVERYTHING I ASKED FOR within 3 hours. And I asked for 3 things, 3 separate times. So in 2 days (one of which is a company holiday) my roof is fixed, documented, letter on letterhead received, warranty document received, extended warranty received. No charge. No fuss, no muss, no coconuts. I'm shook. If you read this far, good for you and please know how busy my life is, and take the detail of this review as a sign to use this company because they are absolutely incredible and I am so Very happy and impressed. read more

We hired PRQ Exteriors to complete our storm damage from June of 2023. Initially they were very responsive. As time went, they became very unreponsive and claimed that things were being communicated with our insurance company when they were not. The process between our insurance company and PRQ was a total disaster. The monies were a mess. Then 18 days after receiving a corrected invoice we were notified that our bill was 60 days past due and a lien would be put on our property. This company is a complete disorganized disaster. So I was not a fan at first as they were canvassing our neighborhood. BUT... we ended up giving them an opportunity to bid on our roof due to hail damage. -(other companies we called out did not want, or need the biz) they talked with our insurance adjuster, walked us through the whole process which I must confess is quite daunting... I really wanted a deal... read I didn't want to have to pay our insurance deductible... after much research and confirmed by both pro and our home owners insurance- I discovered that not paying the deductible IS INSURANCE FRAUD no matter how a roofing company may "spin" it. Fact: We had to pay a different company $125 to have our gutters cleaned of roofing materials after the roof was completed. Fact: We had to pay a 3rd company $200 to have our house fan cleaned of roofing materials after the roof was completed. Fact: We were told by the PRQ project manager that there was no way the roof replacement could have caused this damage even though the gutters were clogged and the fan stopped working the day the roof was finished and both had substantial amounts of roofing materials in them. Fact: 6 months ago we were given an incorrect invoice (dated March 13, 2019) and told we had an overage on our account. Fact: We were told last week that our account was mixed up with another account and an accounting mistake made by PRQ's book keeper showed we now owed over $13,000. Fact: We are now being threatened with a lawsuit for posting this factual information telling others about our experience with PRQ. Fact: I would never, ever recommend PRQ to anyone. read more
