The full firearm counter and great selection of fishing supplies keeps me coming back. I also buy my work boots there. The boots are as good as they get and the price is even better. There are larger sporting good stores in Provo but Big 5 is home town themed and their service is top notch. The staff are super helpful and friendly which makes the shopping experience all the better. I was glad to see they were also taking precautions by wearing masks and gloves. This store is one of the best surplus stores that I have ever found. I didn't know what to expect but I always like to discover new places. It was so much bigger inside than it appeared outside. I needed to update my camping equipment and I found a modular sleep system in excellent condition at a really reasonable price. I had a dog tag made for my doggo and that was very interesting to watch them make it on a really old authentic machine. I looked around and tried to remember everything that they carry so that I know where to find it in the future. I met a soldier there that arrived home and was moved by his story. All in all a really good experience. I would recommend Uncle Sam's Army Navy as a great place to shop. This time I came in to find some cold weather gear because I'm heading out on a backpacking trip and didn't want to freeze out in the cold. They actually have an excellent selection of thermals and polypro head to toe. I got geared up and also got some waterproof gore-tex to keep dry. Basically was able to find everything I needed for my camping trip in one place which was great.

Great concept and new location…read more These guys moved from a small leased garage to a much bigger abandoned business on the East side of Provo in 2016. They are a DIY shop where bikers of all ages come to buy, donate and refurbish bikes. First time going I spent three hours working on a used Raleigh road bike. There is usually 2-3 staff members around and one will usually greet you. The trick here is to Quickly ask questions, find a spot to work at and be patient. The guy working admitted that he wasn't very experienced but together we fixed the bad wheel. Spent about $20 for his assistance. A week later the wheel was off again. I brought it back (2 hours more) and worked on it with a more experienced guy. Spent another $20 Rode it once and off again. Recently found out that they gave me the wrong wheel. Went back but no wheel was available. Great concept and open on Saturdays. You can also donate used bikes here.

Everyone in the shop was very friendly and never made me feel dumb for the problems I had with my bike. Very awesome place.
