The second time in I was overcharged. By quite a bit. I haven't been able to go in because I work during their hours of operation and it's not nearby. Dear Bead Fairy Team, I'm reaching out regarding a recent purchase I made at your store on May 22, 2025, where I was accidentally overcharged for one of the items. Specifically, I was charged $30.05 for a single tube of size 6/8/11/15 seed beads, which was clearly marked in-store as $3.75. I've attached the following items for your review: * A photo of the receipt showing the $30.05 charge * A photo of the bead tube with the $3.75 price tag * A photo of all items purchased, confirming no other item aligns with the $30.05 charge It seems this was a simple cashier error. I noticed the discrepancy shortly after leaving the store and tried to return immediately, but the shop had already closed. I kindly request a partial refund of $26.30, the difference between the correct price and the amount charged. I hope this can be resolved quickly, and I truly appreciate your time and understanding. Please feel free to contact me if you need any further information.

This is my first Yelp review ever because both of my experiences really stick out for both pawn…read moreshops and businesses in general. I've been here twice and the first time, the pawn broker wouldn't stay open 10 minutes before the closing time and just flat out denied me because I had to go home and get my renewed paper license. I get that it's his call on when to close but the excuse he gave was that it would take him 30-40 minutes to get me into the system and anyone who's ever been to a pawn shop knows that that's blatantly false. I just went today for the second time, I thought maybe last time was a fluke. So I show up, present my items and he gives me a quote on only 1 thing and that was $4. He was going to ring it up but I asked for it back because I needed to groceries by today and I would've liked to get ride of the other 3 things I had instead of going all over town. I asked for it back and he straight up accused me of "talking at/looking at [him] like [he's] an a**hole" simply because I asked for the item back and told him why. I still have zero idea why he thought or said that. I was disappointed and looked him in the eye and said that I didn't mean anything by that, I was only disappointed because I would've had to go to another city to try pawning there and I was more or less out of gas. it was just a big inconvenience at that specific moment but I absolutely said nothing bad or negative to him. We briefly talked about it and he backed off after which I packed my things and amicably split from him. I googled a pawn shop closer than his referral to go to another city and luckily it was still open so I went in, sold my all my stuff and got about 100 dollars in the span of 10 minutes. I've been to a few different shops here and there and VIP was easily the worst experience I've ever had at a pawn shop. I was reticent to write any sort of review the first time because maybe it just wasn't a good day but the service person (tall, big guy, shave head with a beard) confirmed himself to be a run of the mill jerk. I'll never go back there nor will I recommend it to anyone. Just a weirdly random aggressive interaction from that dude. I don't act any differentLu at any other pawn shop or business and I did try to take that into thought after I easily sold my stuff at the second store so I'm confident that I wasn't trying to do anything. Also the other pawn shop told me that he doesn't have a good reputation with customers.
