Awesome experience here. The first time I interacted with this store was to resize my wedding rings and reset the stone. When I got the rings back, some things were off and the stone shifted at least twice. I took it back in to inquire about getting it fixed, and they jumped right on it. They assured me that they would comb through their training protocols to find what went wrong with my case and discuss it with the goldsmith that had worked on it. After I had decided I didn't want to fork out a ton of money, they suggested that I could finance through Wells Fargo. WHY CAN'T I GIVE THEM ZERO STARS!? About five weeks ago I purchased an engagement ring (not from Wilson Diamonds). I had been to Wilson's in the past and thought that they were a pretty decent jewelry shop. Well, the engagement ring I purchased was a little bit big and needed to be sized..only a quarter size (in other words...nothing). I was unable to take it to be sized by the same people that manufactured it because it was foreign made. Anyway, after looking at several jewelry stores, we decided we'd take it to Wilson's to have it sized...only a QUARTER size. Well, they told us it would be done the next day so we came back the next day, picked it up, and left. Right after we picked it up we realized: -Where the sizing had been done, the metal was brittle -There were scratches in the metal -You could feel the line where the metal was cut -The scroll work on both sides of the setting was cracked and had become uneven -The detail on the bottom side of the setting was cracked and had been pushed into the box where the center stone was -Someone had attempted to FIX (cover up) the broken detail on the bottom and they still let us walk out with it! We went back and: -The manager blamed the manufacturer of the ring, its casting, etc. -Told me that I had purchased the ring with all the cracks and what not (ridiculous) -Told me that they would TRY to fix it, but that it would never be perfect (they broke it...shouldn't they be the ones trying to leave things in the same condition as they received them?) -Was not willing to investigate...or even consider that they MIGHT have broken it (even though they did!) -Acted as if he had no clue how it happened and, therefore, was not their fault -Continued to tell me that I had bought a defective ring and that the cracks and everything were going to happen eventually (Uhmmmm...well, so we are all going to die eventually, but I don't expect my neighbor to do me the "favor," so that I can get a head start...) -Would not let us talk to the goldsmith... **In essence, he took NO responsibility for breaking my ring and told me that they could do NOTHING to return it to me as I had left it a day earlier. There were other locations I visited that offered more competitive pricing than here but Wilson Diamonds said they could get it toe by the date I needed. This was not the case. Everything went quite well with picking out different designs for the diamonds and bands and I got a custom ring made in time to surprise my fiancée (now wife) just after New Years. Brian helped with explaining everything about diamonds and showing us different options. I would say the only hiccup in the process was seeing about getting our rings (my ring was also purchased here as they give you a nice discount on groom's rings if you just purchased a ring for the bride) engraved because we were told that anything could be engraved (any language that is), but their Asian languages were actually very limited. I'm pretty sure they can send the rings elsewhere to get them engraved with what we want, which is something we may need to look into. This was the best experience I have ever had with a sales person in my entire life! :) When a small diamond fell out a few months later, they fixed it quickly and for free! We then decided to get my wedding ring there. We had found a ring for $989 at another ring store, but wanted to see if we could get it for cheaper. Wilsons quoted us at $494 and we were happy with that! Happy until the price changed four times depending on when we asked(once we were quoted nearly $200 more). We got a great deal on the diamond, a beautiful custom band, and excellent customer service. Shane Corrigan attended us and was very nice, honest, and helpful. After looking at several other places, we can confidently say that he gave us the best deal and was by far the most courteous in helping us out. We got a custom ring for a decent price and they were very careful to make sure that we got the design we wanted by sending us iterations of cad designs until we approved of the final design. When we received the actual band, it was exactly as pictured in the images they sent us. Additionally we had a short time constraint of less than two weeks that they were able to meet, and they gave us a beautiful temporary ring while we were waiting for the actual to be made. The diamond we got was exactly what we hoped for, and we got it for a great price. Shane was careful to take us through all the different types of diamonds and the aspects that make some diamonds much more expensive than others. He also educated us about enhanced vs. non-enhanced. It is true that some diamonds are enhanced, but if you are concerned about this you just need to ask for one that is not. The one we ended up with is gorgeous and completely natural. Any time something has happened to my wife's ring they take it without any hassle at all. And then they fix it quickly for free. All of my friends who bought from bigger names have to go through Hell and back dealing with the warrantees and all the other crap. Not here. You literally hand them the ring, tell them what you want, and they just take care of it no questions asked. As for selection, they had really high-end stuff, that was way cheaper than anywhere else I could find it. Do your research on Diamonds and Rings. Learn about diamonds on your own so you know what to look for and what to avoid. I personally will always request a GIA grading report with a diamond after buying a non-certified diamond from Wilson Diamonds. I had the diamond that I purchased from Wilson Diamonds sent to GIA because I saw yellow in the Diamond even though it was sold as a "D-colorless" Diamond. It indeed came back from GIA as an H color Diamond. I was very new to diamonds and realize now that there is a huge difference and VERY visible difference between a D and an H. My lack of knowledge and experience was taken advantage of. I only share this not to sway you away from Wilson Diamonds, but to educate you on what to look for and what to be aware of. I do hope that Wilson Diamonds has taken steps to avoid such a grading difference in the diamonds that they are selling. I believe that they may take the appropriate actions. Regardless, I want to inform the public to understand diamonds, know that each grade difference in a Diamond can be a BIG difference in price, and that just for protection as a consumer, to request a GIA or Gem Lab certificate with each diamond. This has happened to me because I did not get a grading report. And regardless if the price difference is $400 or $4,000 a reputable jeweler will always heed a request for a Diamond grading report, and should do so on their own accord, it will actually help them to sell the Diamond. As I said, I am only sharing this for the education of anyone looking to buy diamonds from ANYWHERE. This is always my blanket advice to anyone who asks. My fiance and I came to Wilson to look at rings, and felt much more comfortable dealing with their employees than at other jewelry stores in the area. They were knowledgeable, really listened to what we wanted, and had great prices. My fiance got me an engagement ring and wedding band. A couple weeks after the excitement of our engagement wore off I noticed a pink mark on the band of my engagement ring. I took it in and had it looked at and their employees discovered several minor scratches that had happened during the sizing process as well. We gave them the ring and were notified a couple days later, as promised, that the ring was ready. We came to get it and there was still a pink spot. So, we gave it to them again. They called and said it was ready, we came to get it, and it was misshapen, slightly warped on the band from the work they did. By this time, we were pretty frustrated with the work they were presenting to us as "ready." Yesterday we went back to pick up the ring, and it was beautiful. All the minor problems had been fixed and it looked great. We expressed our frustrations with their employee who was helping us and they offered sincere apologies for a series of unfortunate mishaps with our ring. They even gave us a gift card to show their sincerity and a discount off the men's wedding band we had already purchased from them. By the way, they gave us a great deal with a price comparison for the men's band already. Although there were some problems with their service, we eventually got things straightened out. About a month after Wilson fixed our ring, I one day realized my ring had been bent (how? I don't know) so that the stone was crooked on the band of the ring. How grateful I am that I wondered in here. Upon entering I was truly overwhelmed with selection. My fiancé wanted a very unique ring, and all I could think about was how long it was going to take to custom order it and how much over the top I was going to have to pay. I will disclose here that my situation is unique not only in the style I was after, but in the fact that I already had possession of the stone I was able to use; I did not have to shop for a diamond and consider myself lucky. Once I was greeted by a young lady, all my anxieties rushed out the window. I thought that since I wouldn't be making the diamond purchase itself I would be treated as a lesser customer. I told the girl what I was more or less after and she directed me and my sister to a case off to the side with fewer selections in it. Instantly; almost as if fate blanketed the shop and whooshed me toward it, there it was. Or rather; there they were (my fiancé wished for separate bands). I was so happy to see not only something so perfect but better than what was originally desired. After the dust settled I was then greeted by a younger man named Stephen, who helped us (my sister and I) with the selections in the smaller more obscure collection. I grabbed the bands and showed him how these would make the perfect ring compilation along with a picture I had stolen from my wife-to-be's pintrist! When he saw the picture, you could see his face light up! He almost seemingly ran across the room; leaving us playing around with the band selection saying he'd return. When he came back with what is now the main set band on my sweetheart's wedding ring, he proudly presented it and said, "I'm so glad you showed me this photo, and I'm been more glad that this exact ring was not sold". Needless to say here, but Stephen, I'm certainly glad as well. He told us that he had never seen anyone come close to this style before and seemed even more excited than we were! We sat down while Stephen continued to compliment the uniqueness of this ring choice. Finally we were able to meet the owner, Richard, and have him take a look at the rings we had in our possession for an appraisal. We were warned before our experience to make sure not to take the first offer given us when it comes to trading in our rings. When Richard came up with his numbers, my sister and I looked at one another,excitedly; for Mr. Wilson had exponentially out done any other quote we had received. We already knew one diamond wasn't worth much due to a few impurities, but he was the only jeweler to point out why this was so, and physically show us. Due to its lack of value financially, it was the diamond that we chose to place in the ring giving it bundles of sentimental value! To finish up my largely overdeveloped review here, I was able to pick my ring up the following day. I did have a minor discrepancy when it came down to the invoice I was given from Stephen. We were shown that paying in full for the ring would break off 10% of the price out the door. I didn't see this taken off on the invoice. So when I went back to pick the ring up (already signed and paid for), and noted this to Richard he showed me exactly where the discount had been given. And instead if leaving me more than already extremely happy, he wrote me a 100$ check to "apologize" for the confusion. WOW!!!! What customer service!! To all those, whose experiences have gone south with this business I am sorry! I have had nothing but a smooth ride with this company! Quality in selection, price and customer service all through the roof!! Also, since Stephen wasn't working when we picked up the ring, he called me to chat about it and told me to come back in to see what the finished ring looked like. He was willing to go out of his was to ensure satisfaction and I truly appreciate his over the top service. Look at what is important here! It's not what you pay on a ring that will determine your happiness in your marriage. If you want to make it and succeed in your lives cast away your petty differences and own your mistakes.
