I had originally visited Tourneau in Caesar's Forum Shops to get two Rolex watches looked at. Unfortunately, both had been altered from their original configurations and were unable to be serviced in house. I was referred to Official Time Watch in Utah and decided to call them to find out more about the process. They service both Omega and Rolex and you have the option of bringing in your item or sending it in (insured and tracked--registered mail) to the store for assessment and repair/service. I checked out their website and also saw some other reviews just to make sure they were the ones for me. I like that they provided an estimate for how long it would be for turn around time, recommended methods of shipment, and were very communicative regarding every step of the way. I was emailed detailed photos and explanations and inquired about every little thing pertaining to the watches. I also received an itemized invoice with specific and pertinent photos. And was given a phone call to verify what action to take for each watch. The email I received also included information for return of the item and a signature confirmation upon receipt. The watches were returned with a printed receipt, care instructions, and put in branded single watch holder boxes. Leo and his staff were awesome. My Submariner had quit keeping decent time, and gradually got to the point where it was barely running. I had put off having it serviced because life was in the way, but finally got around to getting it taken care of, after approximately 7 years of sitting unused. From the first phone call and Leo's excellent explanation of how the process was going to work, all the way through to it being finished considerably ahead of schedule, everything went perfect and stress free. I manage a business, and I understand that, no matter how hard you try to treat every transaction as if it's critically important, every once in a while there's an exception. I've done business with OTW for years, sending them 5 different Rolex watches for biannual tune ups and occasional repairs. I've never had an issue with the work or the cost .... UNTIL THE LAST TIME...... In August, I sent a Rolex Datejust in because it was losing about 3 minutes a week. OTW acknowledged receipt of the watch. Almost a month later, I was provided an estimate of repair costs. In early November, I received an explanation that they "have some issues with the timing ". I called for an update in December and was informed that they were still working on the watch. Finally, on January 13, I requested that they return the watch to me. I received the watch 2 days later, and promptly took it to a local repair facility, where the work was done promptly and for a fair price. The people at OTW are exceptionally nice and, as I mentioned, for several years they performed great work for me. I sent my Rolex to Leo at Official Time Watch to get it tuned up as it was running fast. They sent it back looking brand new - literally like it was brand new. Bright and shiny. After a week i noticed the watch was still running fast so he told me to send it back which i did. They ran more tests on it and it had to do with the amplitude which was over banking escapement. Anyways, they fixed it right away, kept it for monitoring for a few days and sent it right back. They didn't charge me anything else for it and it came back to me again looking brand new. I have been sending my Rolexes to OTW for 2 years now. I used to just send datejusts and subs and they always came back PERFECT. Leo changes all of the seals, the main spring (other companies charge extra for this part) and a perfect factory polish which is something you normally have to pay extra for as well. This last item was a solid gold Yacht Master and I sent it overnight via FedEx. Sure enough, Leo called me the moment it arrived to assure me he had it and everything was exactly as I had shipped it. 10 days later this watch was back in my hands looking, running, and feeling like brand new with all of the old parts and warranty certificate and receipt in the package. I was getting quotes for $800 from local non-certified jewelers but Leo did it for less than half that price and he has the only Rolex certified service center I know of, which means he gets all of his parts directly from Rolex. Other jewelers have to buy aftermarket parts because Rolex will not sell to a non-certified jeweler. OTW is by far the best place to service and repair your Rolex. They don't sell watches or deal in anything but factory grade service and repairs. Trust this company, you will never use anyone else once you do. read more

I just had my Rolex serviced and refurbished by OTW, I can't speak highly enough. I live on the West Coast but after a lot of research I tried them even though several states away. Leo couldn't have been more helpful on the phone, emailed me updates, and the watch came out beautifully, with factory repair parts. Turnaround was about 3 weeks and all old parts and testing info was returned. I bought my Rolex in the mid 1980's, and wore it occasionally, but most of the time wore a watch that would take the abuse of motorcycle riding and taking care of a big yard. The years went by, and I noticed the Rolex wasn't keeping time as well as it should. After an on line search for service centers, I was delighted to find OTW, in my own area, had excellent recommendations. I also discovered I should have been giving the Rolex a regular "checkup" every 5 years. I made an appointment to visit with Leo, and was impressed with his knowledge of all things Rolex. He answered quite a few questions, and I felt comfortable leaving my watch so he could take a thorough look at it and provide a detailed estimate. I authorized his recommended work, and while my watch looked good (but ran slow) when I took it in, it absolutely shone when I picked it up, and it keeps time perfectly. With a new crystal, and new seals, it has pressure tested as waterproof again, and when setting the time the action is tight, not a bit loose as it was before. I read another review that was unfavorable because service of a watch (brand not named) had not been satisfactory. My guess is that it had more to do with the quality of the piece being serviced than the man doing the service. Having never had my Rolex DateJust serviced, I was overdue. I contacted a number of different vendors, including Rolex, and received a number of fair estimates. Rolex, however, was ridiculously expensive ($1000+ for service and new crystal.I had also cracked mine recently), and their turnaround was not measured in weeks, but in months. So on to the next few, which were either local or online. OfficialTimeWatch.com was actually one of the cheapest, which made me a little hesitant.typically you get what you pay for, right? So I initiated conversation w/ Leo at OfficialTimeWatch.com and several other vendors, and was shocked to find out that Leo was also the only one that included a new main spring with his service, whereas the other added another $70-$100. I also asked all of the usual questions.insured? Bonded? Etc. I was definitely a little apprehensive to just send off an expensive piece of jewelry to someone in another state that I didn't know! I also checked BBB records, state complaints, etc. All seemed legit and well-reviewed, but I must say that Leo was by far the most friendly and responsive, and seemed genuinely concerned about my comfort with his service. So I went with him. I received several emails (and not responses from contact I initiated, these were proactive) throughout the service, including upon his receipt of the watch (and his business is located in the same building as a post office, which was also comforting), follow up after disassembly to notify me of any "new" findings (I assumed this would be the gotcha! moment for sure where my price was drastically increased, but nope, no extra charges : ) , and with the final bill amount including return shipping. Overall, I spoke to Leo several times as well throughout the process and he was always willing to talk to me and explore several "upgrade" options. But about 14 days after my initial shipping, I had my watch back in totally "like new" condition. It looked, and ran, amazing! I cannot overstate my satisfaction with Leo and OfficialTimeWatch.com. I have already referred several friends, family, and colleagues to his service. My only regret is not writing this review sooner. These guys are amazing! Rolex quoted me $930 to repair my 10 year old Datejust and 8 week turnaround time. These guys did it for me for exactly half that price and in only 2 weeks. The watch is working wonderfully. The cherry on top is that my crown was badly scratched and they managed to get rid of all of that.
