I've been there a few times and they've done great work, however I just went there right now which is Saturday July 11th 2026 at 10:30 am. They should be open, they're not. Needed a watch bracelet resized for a Hamilton I had purchased direct from the manufacturer. You would think it is a simple ask, but the jewelry stores claiming to be Hamilton dealers wouldn't do it because they didn't sell me the watch. The first watch store I went to never bothered to open that day, the second one just stares at me through a security door. Finally I found this place. He took care of it while I waited, it was maybe $15 or $16, and I was told as long as I keep the receipt they would reaiE it for life. These folks rock. read more

Been using this shop for watch batteries for years now, and recently had them repair a Swiss Mondaine that lost it's winding stem a month ago. They repaired that for me and after getting it home, I found that the watch would stop at times. I took it back it last week and just got it back today at no cost to me. They found that the minute hand was apparently making contact with the dial face, and they made a slight adjustment to that hand. All in all, great customer service and everything works as it should. That plus the "Battery Club" offers a free watch battery after so many replacements. read more

I went to 'It's All About Time' to purchase a new gasket on my watch back cover and to have the cover installed on my watch. The gentleman looked at my watch and gasket and ask another repairman there a cost. I was quoted $15.00 for a simple $.30 gasket, and the 2 minute repair. I was okay with that because they had paid the price to be the professionals. They took the watch to the work counter and after about 5 minutes brought it back out. They stated they could not the re-install the watch back for some unknown reason. I asked them what could I do at this point, they were the professionals, I was given a shrug and said they simply could not re-install the watch back and didn't want to risk breaking it. They then charged me $5.00 for the $.30 gasket and wished me luck. After I returned home and looked at the watch back from a mechanical side, I simply reshaped the back (convex) and was able to snap it back into place with some added leverage pressure. I was very disappointed service from not being able to repair the watch, charging me for parts that did not aid int the repair, and not directing me to a true professional for the repair. I am a paraplegic and it took me two hours to get to their shop, only to be sent away with no direction. read more

Terrible customer service. I called to see about just getting the back taken off of my watch which I was willing to pay for. They said they don't do it unless they're repairing it, so basically so they can charge you more. I would of easily paid 20-30 dollars just to have them take the back off which would have taken them like 2 minutes but they refused. read more

Unbelievable! I brought them an antique clock to convert to a battery operated clock and I never got a call letting me know it was done. They said they called but I didn't get any messages. I finally went into the shop in person today to check on it and they tossed it! My antique clock is GONE and too bad for me! So incredibly upset. read more

Talk about dishonesty at its finest. Came here to get my watch battery replaced and the owner said it was $24.95. I asked why it is so expensive? He said they do a pressure test. I told him politely I just wanted the battery swapped. He said "you can just take your watch and leave". I am floored and don't know what to say. read more

I bought my Cuckoo clock from It's All About Time about 12 or 13 years ago from the original owner. He was a wonderful businessman. Very helpful, kind and considerate. This summer the music box door popped open and stayed open except when it played on the hour. Then it would shut part way through the music and then open again at the end of the music and stay open again until part way thru the next hourly presentation. The clock also stopped randomly. I took it over and after it was fixed I brought it home and hung it on the wall only to have it do the same thing. I returned twice because it was having the same issue, and the help in the shop was great and very accommodating after the original repair. I took my clock back to see if it could actually be repaired as I bought it refurbished and I recognized that as an older clock, it may not be able to be repaired. They asked Sam to come see what he thought. I asked him if he had been with the shop for a long time, and he said "I just got here"....thinking he was joking, I indicated that I bought my clock from them and was hoping he could tell me if it was repairable. He immediately told me I had not bought the clock there and asked me if I had my receipt. I told him I bought it from the original owner. He stomped away and did not answer me. When the other gentleman came over to see what I wanted to do, I told him I did not want them touching my clock, and I would be taking it to a different shop. My recommendation is to find another shop if you are looking for good customer and competent service as you will not find it with Sam at It's All About Time! read more

I had a vintage 1973 Bulova Accutron that I tried to have the battery replaced at a mall jeweler. They claimed it was going to cost me $400 to repair the watch. I brought it here and within a half an hour and $25 they had it working perfectly. I highly recommend this business. They are very professional and are able to work on vintage pieces. In general, they seem really unorganized, rude, defensive, and almost mad that you come in. Perhaps they are overworked, or don't enjoy what they are doing. There is basically only one person who can answer any repair questions, and he appears to be overloaded and grumpy. There is a woman in the shop who is very nice - please have her wait on you. If you are patient, and aren't in a hurry, they do pretty good work, but will charge the"moon". It takes a very long time to have repairs done. They are probably one of a few repair shops left that will tackle old clocks. Looking for alternatives in the Salt Lake area. Any suggestions? read more

I got this watch from Macy's, and it stopped working the next day. I procrastinated in fixing my watch, because I doubted that Macy's had the right people to do it. Gene happened to know how to fix it, and he did an excellent job; he provides fast service without sacrificing the quality. I highly recommend this place for other potential customers. After having my husband's TagHeuer watch for 3 plus months the owner finally called. He called saying the watch was a fake and he was going to have to confiscate it. Ridiculous! He made us come in with proof of purchase and still have is grief to get it back. Then... After no update for months on a simple repair said, 'well I changed the battery so you need to pay for it' I think not! So we had him take out is battery and left. Awful customer service! WILL NEVER GO BACK. They are the worst. Next time we will just send things for work straight to the manufacture. Should be quicker that way. I took my watch elsewhere to get a new battery. This other place took the back off my battery to get the battery number. They did not have one, so I asked them to leave the watch apart. They put the parts in a zip lock baggie. I went to "it's about time" and ask if they had my battery size they said they did. I went to buy it and asked if I can borrow their screwdriver or if they could put the battety in for me. They told me they would have to charge me to do it. They said I could just buy their battery and take it back to this other place that took the back off and have them put it back on. I threw the battery back on the countrr and told them to stick it and I walked out. I will never go back there again nor would I recommend this place. read more

Had the worst customer experience at It's All About Time today!!!!! I was charged $689 in 2014 for the repair of an antique watch! I happened to mention to the owner of Precision Time in Fashion Place Mall about my antique watch when I went to get a battery for another watch recently. He said he'd love to see it. I took it into him a few weeks later & he said it was missing a mainspring. When I took it back today to It's All About Time, the owner, "Gene", told me it did have a mainspring​ & it was dirty & he had never worked on the watch. I showed him our American Express charge that plainly showed a payment to It's All About Time and he continued to deny that he ever worked on my watch! Seriously, I wish I could have asked him what other watch would I pay $689 to repair? He was belligerent, rude, defensive and his behavior bordered on abusive! The worst customer service that I have EVER experienced! I will never, ever go there again! read more

I took our antique clock to It's All About Time to be cleaned and have a new main spring put in. They kept the clock for several months. It cost us $400.00, and we have had nothing but trouble with it ever since. We took it back and they said it ran fine for them and we probably weren't hanging it level. We then made sure it was level in all directions, and after a very short time the clock began to freeze on every hour. we have now taken it to another clock shop, and it seems nothing was done correctly. They were shocked to see no oil, parts scraped with a file, and improper cleaning. We now have to have the job redone correctly and the damage repaired for even more money. We were told that this shop had another vintage clock brought in a few days before that had been "repaired" by Its All About Time that would cost $1400.00 to restore.
