I paid $300 and 2 months to fix a cuckoo clock and I got the clock home and mounted and it still does not work.

I was referred to Official Time Watch in Utah and decided to call them to find out more about the process. They service both Omega and Rolex and you have the option of bringing in your item or sending it in (insured and tracked--registered mail) to the store for assessment and repair/service. I checked out their website and also saw some other reviews just to make sure they were the ones for me. I like that they provided an estimate for how long it would be for turn around time, recommended methods of shipment, and were very communicative regarding every step of the way. I was emailed detailed photos and explanations and inquired about every little thing pertaining to the watches. I also received an itemized invoice with specific and pertinent photos. And was given a phone call to verify what action to take for each watch. The email I received also included information for return of the item and a signature confirmation upon receipt. The watches were returned with a printed receipt, care instructions, and put in branded single watch holder boxes. I am extremely happy with the service provided and that our watches were treated with care. I will definitely be using this company again for future needs.

First, take a look at the attached image of their customer reviews. Notice a common theme: "cheap"…read moreand "quick." "Expertise" is also hinted. Therefore, imagine my understandable great dismay and dissatisfaction when I brought in a common Casio PRO TREK to have its rechargeable battery replaced. The initial associate whom I'd handed the watch and described the issues (battery not holding a charge; ABC features causing recovery mode; no beeps; etc.) to was a moron. He cluelessly inspected the watch with a puzzled look and repeatedly asked about it features and the problems, then suggesting that I should leave it overnight. My fair interrogative inquiry to the idiot: "There've been many other customers coming in here for the same thing. Why are you acting like you've never done this before!?" That was when another employee (boss or manager?) came over with an attitude. However, this one did show proper knowledge and promptly, correctly diagnosed that my Casio should get a new battery installed, BUT would cost 75 fucking dollars(!) and take a few hours. Again, "read the numerous reviews" as I suggested to the second individual, who faslely argued the rechargeable battery for my watch cost more, while also stupidly implying that in all the years the shop had been operating--with many customers visiting--no one had ever brought in a watch with a rechargeable battery. So, having enough of the bullshit from the two dumbasses, I curtly left. Subsequently, I ordered a $15 rechargeable battery online, watched a 5-minute video, and proceeded to replace the battery and reset the watch myself. No pointless, useless watch repair shop necessary.

I got an estimate that was over my budget but wasn't charged for the work to check it out. Maybe I'll bring it back after a few months to have it worked on. Visited last week for a battery replacement. The worker estimated 20 minutes, so I walked around…read morethe mall and returned to find my $150 watch in pieces! I asked the worker what happened and heard, "It was already like this." It most certainly was not in pieces when I handed it to them. An older gentleman worker seemed flustered with the situation and said, "There will be no charge today." So, I don't have to pay for having my watch broken? The gentleman then asked me to return the next day to pick it up. When I returned the next day the watch had been pieced together the best they could and it was obviously not working. I asked if they could at least fix what they broke and heard, "No, we can't fix it. It's not even an expensive watch." I was handed my broken watch and the gentleman simply shrugged. I was offered no restitution or compensation. I would highly recommend NOT patronizing this business.

Then a week later I get an unexpected call that he has lost it, but will let me know if he finds it. Fast forwards 5 months he still hasn't found it and offers to buy a replacement which I was out of town for a month so l wasn't able to meet with him. Fast forwards another 1 month I finally get a call that they have found it. It's February 20th of 2024 When I get there, the first thing I was greeted with " you got the money"? I simply told him wow, you expect me to pay after 7 months! He like yeah it fixed isn't it. he showed me the replacement necklace he got me which was the cheapest necklace ever, it felt like straight plastic and wasn't even remotely close to the necklace that I took to be fixed. I told him there's no way I was gonna pay him after 7 months btw it was only $45. And once I told him that he tried to make me also pay for the replacement. I wish I got a picture because it was not anything close to the one that he lost. Since I wasn't willing to pay, he just simply cut the peace that he replaced and handed it to me and said this is the finished. So basically after 7 months I got a necklace that wasn't even fixed. The part that made me mad as I was patient and was really calm about the situation. Would definitely will never go back and wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

Good day. I had purchased a GL0079 on 5/8/2026. I received…read morein a timely manner, sized the bracelet 1st and attempted to connect to a Glycine Combat Sub 42. As I inserted the spring bar thru the bracelet and the solid end link I noticed that the end link was not articulating properly to attach to the watch head. I had purchased the same GL0079 I January of 2023, so my expectation was that I would not have any problem. I emailed the Customer Service, communication with Areli. I sent pictures of the end link along with the 2023 GL0079 attempting to highlight the fact that the end link was out of spec, it was a bit larger in an area that would not allow the bracelet and end link to lay on the wrist properly. I sent the GL0079 bracelet that I had adjusted to fit my wrist in to the service center indicating that the bracelet was defective as sent and I either wanted a functional bracelet or new end links that would allow the bracelet to function as expected. I had to call in after 7/23/2026 as no one in CS or the Service Center had contacted me to speak to someone. I spoke to Erik the service manager and we went back in forth in conversation about the band being sized and no acknowledgment that the band was defective. After some conversation he reluctantly proceeded with a refund, which I have received. It appears that he has been granted the right to who can and cannot order from the Lowen, I proceeded to order 2 leather watch straps and 2 tools and received an email stating order cancelled due to unforseen circumstance. I called back in to CS and spoke to I believe Alisha and she indicated that based on the phone number she could see, that in fact I had been blacklisted from purchasing from the website. So I am asking Steve Willes, Katie Montag, Marcelo Fraga, Daniel Fraga and Roberto Fraga, are you aware of this blacklisting and do you condone this over a defective item? Erik seems to think so. You have my contact info and I am awaiting followup. The new order number is 131766. Thank you for your timely response.
