I want to leave a great review! I do! This place has been a Utah County icon for decades. But, here's what happened: I'm getting married. I need a tux. I'm short. Not Warwick Davis short. Let's say Bruno Mars short. Kevin Hart short. Sammy Davis, Jr. short. You know, short, but workable short. I walked into the American Fork Allen's Tuxedo on a Saturday morning and the associate took one look at me and said they wouldn't have anything that would work for me. So I said nothing? Let's pretend I'm a kid going to prom. You don't work with short kids? They didn't have anything. I asked well what if I bought a tux and could have it altered? They don't do that, and even if they did it would be expensive. Well expense isn't really an issue here. I'm sorry sir. I wish I could help you but I can't. Folks, I was floored! I'm going to chalk it all up to this particular associate just having a bad day, because wow! I'm going to say if you are normal size you won't have a problem here. My situation is unique. But look, I'm certain they COULD have worked with me. They chose not to. Men's Wearhouse had no problems with me and everything went fine with them. Short yes. Unique situation yes. But this was just plain awful customer service. It wasn't handled well. So there it is. Take it as you will. Maybe you won't run into this associate. Maybe you will. Very poor service. The lady was rude and short and the place smelled like old people. I'd be embarrassed to wear any of the suits and tuxedos offered here as they are all outdated and to be quite frank-they are very ugly. Save yourself some time and go anywhere else. read more

We came to Utah from California for my brother's wedding. Measurements were sent a while ago & we arrived to Utah the day before the wedding. When we arrived, they were very kind & professional. My husband was in a rush for the bachelor party, but they helped us in a quick manner & we were able to head out the door. Wonderful service! Went in with my boyfriend to rent a suit, total was $90 for everything but the socks and underwear . They were so kind and so fast and we rented and returned the suit without a problem! We even got some of the groomsmen to get their suits here and they loved it. Just left Allen's to return a suit that didn't fit. I actually can't believe how we were treated. He was angry with us because the suit didn't fit and made me a ridiculous offer of $30 (the Tux was $91). Seriously one of the most unbelievable experiences I've ever had renting. From the smell of the shop and the way we were treated, no chance I would ever enter the store again. read more
