I am paying for full service but there has been several times that my pool has not been cleaned. Thank goodness for cameras. They were on my property today for 2 whole minutes for full service, including chemicals and cleaning my pool, and my pool had alot of debris left in the pool because it clearly was not cleaned. The same debris I saw in my pool yesterday was of course still in my pool. read more

Absolute pleasure working with this company. Glen did a great job! He was here on time, installed a brand new pool heater, fixed all my crappy wiring, put in a new timer, installed a new hot tub blower and even cleaned my filter. Couldn't be happier. read more

Was able to come out and inspect my property with less than 24 hours notice due to my rushed escrow. Very knowledgeable and did thorough job when inspecting my potential pool. Gave it to me straight with his opinions on what I could expect and helped me decide if I even wanted this house or not! Also gave me great insight on general pool safety options I was deciding between- netting vs fencing - when i was on the fence with my decision! read more

I reached out to Kevin after bouncing around between pool contractors while looking for advice regarding a pool at a potential home purchase. He was extremely knowledgeable, helpful and accommodating. He provided me with at least an hours worth of advice and knowledge over the phone before I even requested a formal inspection from him. His inspection report was extremely thorough and had estimates attached to every issue to allow me to know exactly what I would be walking into. If I ever have any pool related questions or work to be done Kevin and ProTouch Pool Services will absolutely be the first resource I reach out to! read more

Glenn came out and did an excellent job installing a replacement light bulb for our 20 year old pool. The price was fair and care was taken to ensure the install was clean and done right. read more

Just had them install a new Pentair variable speed pool pump and I couldn't be happier. They were very responsive, easy to deal with, able to install it in a short amount of time and the installation is perfect. I have no complaints. Everything works great and I love the new pump. read more

I found Pro Touch Pool Services on Yelp, but also investigated their reviews on both Google and Angie's List. On all three sites, Pro Touch received stellar reviews, so I contacted them to secure an estimate for a few minor repairs that I needed to my pool equipment - leaks at junction to both pool heater and pump. Kevin, the owner, answered my call immediately. We discussed the repair work needed and he asked me to text him photos of the issues. He immediately sent his cell number so that I could text the photos directly to him. I sent the photos within 30 minutes and Kevin immediately contacted me to confirm that he received the photos and was sending them on to his scheduler to draw up an estimate and coordinate a date for the work to be completed. I received the estimate within a few hours and it was very reasonable, so I accepted the terms and returned the contact. Work was scheduled and completed within 24 hours. Lance, our repair tech, called to let me know he was on his way and arrived on time. He expertly addressed and resolved the problems, tested the equipment to ensure problems were resolved, and cleaned up after all work was performed. He even addressed one additional issue that was discovered while repairs were being performed. A quick call to the office to secure the cost for additional work, parts were on truck and repair was added to work order/completed. Overall, I found Pro Touch to have excellent response time, reasonable costs and exceptional professionalism. I would definitely recommend them and use them again in the future should further problems arise with my pool equipment. read more

Kevin's water knowledge is exceptional. He diagnosed the problem at our pool and we then confirmed his opinion with a fully independent water analysis test. He helped us with the solution and made us better pool owners through education. His approach is different than the many other pool 'techs' I've hired and talked with over the years. Thank you Kevin for all your help. read more

I moved into my home 1 1/2 years ago. The in-ground spa was inoperable when we bought, but we've been too busy to deal with fixing it. Finally, there's time to deal with it so I came to Yelp to help me choose a service provider. I chose ProTouch because of these Yelp reviews, and I am happy to say that Glenn and Greg live up to all these happy customers' reviews! I never felt they were trying to "up" my bill. They told me which items were in good condition and which needed replacing. My electronics needed to be completely redone, but Glenn did not try to sell me some fancy, automated system because our small backyard jacuzzi only needed a very simple system in place. I'm sure he saved me hundreds on that system alone! Both gentlemen are friendly and courteous and easy to talk to, which is a plus. They were patient as they explained the issues and the fixes and then again on how to operate the system. I will definitely be using them again as later I may add a salt cell to my system! Great service, quick, efficient, and effective. read more

Kevin, I want to thank you for helping me facilitate a resolution. I understand now that you or your company were not directly involved with my project, you helped by providing a contact. Thank you again for helping me complete this project! read more

First of all, it is very difficult to find a knowledgable pool company that will make repairs without requiring that a service contract be in place. That being said, I called their office on a Monday and a technician (Lance) got back to me that day. I had a spa remote that had gone bad, and my pool light needed replacing. I sent Lance a few pictures with some measurements, and the office gave me a very reasonable quote within the hour (that's right, they didn't have to come out survey everything). They gave me options, but did not attempt to up-sale. To my surprise, they set up an appointment for that Wednesday. Lance was able to accurately diagnose the light problem immediately. Others had tried and failed (waste of time and money). Lance fixed the light and the spa remote (making it look easy), and told me things about my pool I didn't know (after having it for 20+ years). Every step of the process was a pleasure, starting with the first call, and ending with everything fixed and my pool in better shape than ever. I was even given free advice about how to improve the general maintenance. I couldn't be more pleased with the expertise and professionalism of ProTouch Pool Services. I have already recommended them to two neighbors, and will definitely keep their number. read more

Protouch advertised $6.50 a linear foot of deck sealant , I called to schedule an app only to have owner upscale me to $8.00 an linear foot Saying that even was cheap ! Then he would call me when he had time for an estimate ! That was a few weeks ago ! No call ! Do not waste your time ! read more

Great advice and takes time to help, however they can. Would use them for any pool needs!

I can't say enough good things about ProTouch and Glenn. The lights on my swim spa went out and I called ProTouch on a Tuesday and Glenn was at my house Friday morning. I'm a little embarrassed to say that Glenn quickly found the problem...a tripped breaker. Anyway, he didn't even charge me to come out, even though I would have been happy to pay. Absolutely fantastic service and with this level of customer service, I won't hesitate to suggest him to anyone! Thanks Glenn! Mike read more

I hired Pro Touch to install a new variable speed pump, some actuated valves, automation control system and a spa light. They had all the parts in stock and completed the job the next day. Incredible service. The quality of work is outstanding. All at a fair price. I will not hesitate to call them again and will call for any of my pool needs. Don't risk it. Call Pro Touch. Very impressed. read more

I have written some scathing reviews in my time. THIS is NOT one of them. I was literally dreading having (again) to try to find an honest, competent pool company/tech. I took a chance on ProTouch Pool Services. (Sir) Lance(elot) rode up on his trusty white steed and slayed the pool monster. I have been doing my own regular pool maintenance for years, but when it comes to troubleshooting mechanical problems I need a pro. And they are rare. Lance is that rare pool tech. He diagnosed the problem quickly. Fixed it quickly. All the while explaining to me the "whys" and "whats". He gave me a lot of good (filter) maintenance advice. He even installed a pipe and knob to make it easier to drain the filter (Manufacturers insist on putting the filter drain plug in a ridiculously hard to get to place). He did this all for a fair price and didn't try to sell me any parts or services I didn't need. Honesty, integrity and technical knowledge should be the norm, not the exception! And indeed, I can tell that for Lance and this company, those qualities, thankfully, ARE the norm. They are the only pool service company I will ever use. read more

Called them on Friday to make an appt to get my spa motor fixed. I was told that I would get a call from Glenn on Monday to get something set up. Waited til 12:45 on Mon, no call so I called them. The office person apologized and said she would get a better idea and call back in 15 min. Again no call back til 3:45 and it was Glenn. If they can't make a simple phone call then they don't deserve my business. Aqua Paradise was more than accommodating, got an appt for this Thurs, and we're very pleasant to talk to!! Glenn and Greg completed a upgrade to our pool last week. We had a 10+ year old pool and needed a complete replacement of the pumps and filter, along with all of the associated plumbing. Glenn was very friendly and knowledgeable and answered all of my questions. It was important that the changes be done quickly as I had company arriving soon for a backyard event. The upgrade was completed in a single day as promised by Glenn. Everything went smoothly and I am very pleased with my new equipment. They also added a new salt chlorinator system as part of the work at my request. Everything is working very well. I had a great experience with Glenn. They were at all times professional, were on time with all of their commitments, and were open and patient with all of my questions. Highly recommended. read more

Being a pool owner something always goes wrong. I am so happy to know who to call to fix my issues. They are fantastic.

Honest, Trustworthy, Cheerful and Helpful I wanted to express my extreme satisfaction with the staff at ProTouch Pool Services. The company, and more specifically Glenn, is the most polite, customer focused advocate I have ever worked with in the Pool business. His knowledge of the pool systems, his email, phone and in person interaction is beyond reproach. This company is top-notch. Thanks to the entire team in the background and Glenn and Greg for quick response and on-site troubleshooting and fixing my heater issues in a timely manner. Because of the above It is clear that I will continue using ProTouch for all my pool needs. read more

Kevin was very well knowledgeable about his pool maintenance, pool science and chemistry, and I felt like he was on my team as i was going through inspections in the process of home buying. He was quick and to the point and gave me a timely estimate. If my house offer goes through, he will be my go to pool guy or as he says "spool" ie small pool/in ground spa" company. So happy to have found him on yelp. His high marks on yelp are quite true and on point! Thanks. read more

I used ProTouch Pool Service recently to perform the pool inspection for a potential new home. When I told Kevin I needed to schedule the inspection quickly because of the shortened escrow, he was kind enough to fit me into his schedule right away. He showed up on time, was extremely professional, and provided very detailed responses to the many questions I had. I have never owned a pool, and wanted to understand all the risks and potential problems. He was patient and walked me through everything. The report he later generated was also very detailed, and included a full cost breakdown of all problems. I cannot speak to pool servicing, but I would definitely recommend for any pool inspections. read more

We found Glenn from ProTouch Pool Services through a friend that had a new variable speed pump installed by him.  He's very helpful, and responsive to my questions before and after the installation.  The space enclosing my pump is very small and narrow, but he was able to work with it like a champ.  There were some issue with my other pool equipments that I wasn't aware such as the check valve and solar temperature sensor.  My old pump wasn't priming properly because of an air leak and it damaged the motor.  Glenn knew the exact problems and corrected them during the installation.  He installed my new Pentair 2VST variable speed pool pump, EasyTouch upgrade kit, and the Pentair 8 functions indoor wired remote.  Glenn is highly recommended. We are very happy with his service. read more

I'm kind of confused by all the 5 star reviews here on yelp. I have called multiple times to speak with someone about setting up a monthly service. The first time I called during business hours, and the call was forwarded off to voicemail. I left a detailed message and a request to return my call. After a week of waiting for someone to contact me regarding my message, I decide to try and call again. Perhaps, the person that checks the voicemail is out, right? Well, that wasn't the case because this time someone did answer, and I began to explain that I had tried to call a few times during business hours and had left a message over a week ago. The young lady then says that maybe she was out to lunch and that is why it went to voicemail. She also added that she would call the owner and let him know about my request asap and he would be calling me back promptly. Well that has now been 3 more days. Not sure how a company can stay in business when they can't or will not take on new business. read more

Glen Cherry from Protouch inspected a pool on a property we are in Escrow with this week. He arrived on time and spent a good hour and half with us at the property. He was thorough and identified all the problems even problems you can't see. He tested the equipment and showed us how it all worked or didn't in this case. He answered a lot of questions we had and informed us of hazards the equipment could have in the condition it is in. He even brought to our attention the house roof had solar years ago which isn't their anymore. He made sure to let us know that the roof could have leaks from the old tie downs and to make sure the roof inspector reviews the inside of the attic for leaks. Thank you so much for your honesty this could save us thousands of dollars! read more

I was referred to Pro Touch Pool Services by a local (San Diego) pool plastering company as a reputable company who specializes in pool equipment, pool chemistry, and other various services involving pools. I have maintained my own pool for over 30 years, but specifically needed to talk with an expert about pool chemicals, equipment and other misc. items. I spoke with Kevin over the phone, and from our discussion I knew he was very knowledgeable. I had Kevin come out to my house, and we spent an hour-and-a-half going over pool chemistry/chemicals, test kits, pump motors, heaters, blowers, plaster, valves and anything else you can think of regarding my pool. It was a productive and refreshing conversation - I'm used to going into pool supply stores having them always trying to sell me something, especially chemicals that Kevin says I don't need. He is realistic, and won't try to sell you something just to make money. Kevin was by far the most knowledgeable pool professional I have ever dealt with. He is honest, fair and has a "common sense" approach that you can't seem to find anymore. Since I do my own upkeep and maintenance work, Kevin instructed me with reasonable ideas that will save me money. I have never seen anyone so astute on pool chemistry - he walked me through what I needed to do when I drain my pool and re-add chemicals. This guy knows POOL CHEMISTRY! Overall a very pleasant experience (for a change)! I will use Pro Touch Pool Services in the future for my pool needs. Jim S. read more

While attempting to purchase a home, we recently were fortunate enough to have Kevin inspect the pool at this house. His approach was wonderful. He took his time with us and ensured that he adjusted the jargon to suit us as we were feeling a bit overwhelmed by the litany of repairs needed. We are tremendously grateful for having someone like him not rush through the process. With such a big purchase, he understood how critical it would be for us to understand any and all concerns as well as the approximate cost of repairs. Thank you for being so thorough and approachable during the inspection! read more
