I have an older swim spa that hadn't been used in a long time. I was worried that it would be too expensive or even that it had been dormant too long to be "rejuvenated." I stumbled upon ProTouch just by calling around pool service listings. Kevin at ProTouch was attentive and encouraging from the start; Glenn quickly inspected the pool and got started with a drain and clean. I refilled the pool then Glenn returned and put in the chems and reviewed the operating basics. Within such a short time and at such a modest cost, ProTouch made my old swim spa ready to enjoy again. They are kind, considerate, honest and more than competitively priced. I think another service, given the age & appearance of the swim spa, could have gone full on "dramatic" and charged me far more. I look forward to working with ProTouch for monthly service. The chems they use are softer, gentler on the skin and odorless compared to past services' chems. As good as it gets! My first contact was with Glen for a consultation and quote. Glen was early, knowledgeable, courteous, professional and overall a solid guy. He actually took the time to (Repair) my timing on my existing pool pump that the original pool builders (not Protouch) had made inoperable. I have had quite a few pools built in my last five (5) homes and I have seen a complete cadre of incompetence, lack of professionalism and complete ignorance in most of the pool builders. Protouch pool service is so far above the standard its almost unfair. If Protouch built pools for a living they would corner the market. Protouch is professional, trustworthy, knowledgeable, and extremely fair in their pricing. Now if we can get these guys to babysit they would run the world! I can' t say enough about Pro touch. This is the second time that I have used them.When we bought our house Kevin spent over 3 hours going over the pool,how it works and what new items we will need to update our pool. I tried to fix our pool problem by going onto Google.I tried everything that they suggested.Coudn't fix problem.I did this for several hours and finally gave up. I called Kevin and explained the problems that I was having with the pool. Over the phone and within 15 minutes of trouble shooting the pool was working again. I can't say enough about Kevin and Pro Touch. The fact that he spent time going over everything to fix the pool and didn't have to come to my house was awesome. Cannot recommend these guys enough. Saved us $1000! Our property manager was coming after us for fraudulent damages stating that a "bowling ball" must have damaged the pool. Kevin came right out, did a full pool inspection/test of the water and concluded that the damage was plaster de-lamination due to years of wear and tear chemical imbalances not due to "tenant neglect and misuse". Took pictures and gave us the facts in writing to use in our case against the owner. Don't know what we would have done without these guys. Would have rolled over and paid the initial estimate for repair, which we now know is a scam on behalf of the owner and the original disreputable repair company. When I asked Kevin out of curiosity how much ProTouch would charge to repair the damages, he informed me that it would be pointless to repair it at all as it will keep happening across the rest of the pool. Our pool pump went out so I called Pro Touch Pool Services after reading their great Yelp reviews online. I spoke with Glen and after discussing the options that were available we decided on a variable speed pump. Since our current pump was out I was looking to get it replaced right away and Pro Touch delivered. Glen scheduled his technician Greg to come out the following day and change out the pump. The installation went smooth and when Greg was finished he explained how the new pump worked and answered all my questions. Responded within an hour of our inquiry. Sent someone out for a quote that same day. Quote was completely inline with prices we had researched for the new products online. Installed a new pump, filter, and heater 3 days later. We we're completely blown away by the service and level of expertise provided. While we expected new equipment, we had no idea they would go above and beyond in completely rerouting the pvc and gas line piping, greatly shrinking the footprint that the equipment took up in our side yard. Kevin is a straight shooting, honest man. I was stressing about a pool inspection that we needed asap. He was very quick to return my phone call and answer all my questions and educate me on the process. He was even able to schedule the inspection on a holiday. Our pool was rapidly losing water due to a crack in the skimmer. We had several quotes from different companies but nothing seemed to feel right until we found this pool company. Our pool heater had been giving us troubles making a strange noise and turning off by itself. Lance took a look and was able to quickly identify the issues and replace a broken part inside of the unit and it is back running properly. We called ProTouch to re plumb our pool equipment after I removed our old pool heater. While out, ProTouch did a free water test and spotted several issues with the water chemistry. I had them preform a phosphates/algae treatment and come back for a filter cleaning. I'm taking the time to thank them for all of the great advice on how to better take care of my pool and water. My pump broke down and my filter was too small. I called Protouch, and they came out and replaced the pump and installed a filter that was much larger than the previous one. Everything works better than expected, because I usually don't have good experiences with service companies. Not only works better than expected, but looks much cleaner and more professional. We hired Pro Touch Pool Services for our Airbnb, expecting dependable service. Unfortunately, they missed a scheduled service without notifying us, which led to unhealthy spa conditions. This required an emergency water dump, which we had to pay for, and caused a terrible experience for our guest. Their lack of communication and accountability is unacceptable. Highly ptofessional, fast and outstanding industry knowledge. My pool is over 15 years old and nothing really works on it.They replaced all my pumps , my heater, the filter and put in a new cleaning system. When my filter pump broke, ProTouch responded to my request for service quickly and gave me various options to get everything back up and running with their pros/cons. I opted for a new pump.
