Really wanted to like this place but I just couldn't. I purchased one of their protein bowls, and decided to get the sweet potato mash. Terrible idea. I'm not sure what they put in the mash but all I could taste is cinnamon. I just ate the chicken off the top and couldn't touch the rest. The food was clean. I had the Southwest bowl and the salsa was so hot that I regretted dumping it on the bowl. I almost never add salt at a restaurant but the food had no seasoning except for the too-hot salsa. I like that you can add butter and coconut oil to your coffee, though. Although a little on the pricey side, ProteinHouse does not spare any expensive in quality and quantity. The food even looks clean & appetizing. Expensive for every day for blah food! The peanut sauce is very peanut and that's my fault. I think ordering dishes without the sauce is prob your best route. The name doesn't really does t match the concept or price point! Great portions and good variety but fu@k over priced bland food. I just need to find the best combo if I go back. As someone who follows a pretty strict diet concerning calories, this place is awesome! Their physical menus in store show you the macros, and a lot of the calorie counts include rice and such (easily removed obviously). The employees are super friendly and the food is DELICIOUS. My husband got the Thai Monster and I got The General. Both had veggies that were cooked perfectly and had great flavor. A tad pricy, but it's quality ingredients (bison, sustainable seafood, etc). Coffees are pretty yummy too (and can be made skinny). Definitely will be back! Such a good find! read more

My husband and I stopped by here after our work out today and after having protein house a couple of times I was really excited to have their chicken quesadilla again because it is really yummy with their salsa. I am super picky and always ask what is in something before I eat it. The quesadilla I ordered came with tomatoes and onions in it, where no where on the menu it states it has that and Savannah didn't mention it either when I asked while ordering. I got home and realized their mistake, called and asked for it to be remade. I went and picked it up and Savannah did not hardly even look at me or say anything I know people have bad days, but this is not how your front staff should present to paying customers, especially after I came back to pick it up. Other reviews agree with the quality of customer service I experienced. We love the food, but the high prices and lack of friendly faces really deters me from coming here again. read more

I have always heard such great things about this place and ended up super disappointed! The brown rice in my bowl was hard, not even cooked. Meat was chewy, sauce was over powering. This place is convenient since it is on the way to work. Today, I stopped by for a protein shake. It sucked. It was chalky and the girl was snobby. I smiled at her (cause I was starving and really looking forward to my shake) she kept a serious face and didn't say anything. The cup wasn't even filled to the top. The shake literally left a bad taste. They aren't cheap and I had no time to go back. Next time I'll go to one stop. At least I know they are consistent with their protein shakes there. read more

Honestly food is really not that good. You could definitely get better for the prices. I've gone there a couples times and just this time I realized that I don't want to come back so I don't think I will be. Tried for the first time today. Ordered a Thai Monster Bowl. It was great.... at first but then became dry. I would order it again but definitely ask for extra sauce on side to add to it once it reaches this point. I still prefer Original Chop shop but.... I needed a change because I'm there at least 3 times a week. Also ordered a lean machine juice, needs more ginger. Doesn't have any spike to it. Wow I don't like giving a bad review but this cant go on...what a waste of over 40 bucks... and for breakfast! The one breakfast wrap to a very hungry guy went in the trash after a few bites mine was a last cause after 1 bite. The fruit dish was dry like it sat uncovered in the fridge and my green smoothie was ultra thick. My palate just couldn't handle it... sad I had great expectations for this place. But, the food is SO good, I would recommend this to anyone regardless of what they were looking for! And there are an incredible amount of options. That does make it tough to narrow in on what you might want to order, the the people working there are incredibly friendly and helpful, and can give you thorough explanations of each dish, category, and option. Thought I would try ProteinHouse for lunch today as their menu looked yummy online and I was having it delivered to my office. I thought the Aloha chicken teriyaki burger sounded good and saw they have their own housemade teriyaki sauce...Well, once it arrived I saw the nice lean chicken and fresh pineapple; but hey where was the sauce? NOT A DROP OF TERIYAKI SAUCE! Absolutely, no dressing of ANY kind on either side of bun...dry as the desert burger is what I got! No, it wasn't on the side or anywhere to be found... This was my first visit and I ordered the Berry Lovers Salad with Chicken. The chicken was delicious...good flavor and moist. The problem was the dressing. They dress it with way too much dressing. In fact, the dressing was so heavy, that I ate the chicken and berries and left the greens. Seems counterproductive to skip the greens, but the amount of dressing made it unbearable to eat. So...lesson here is ask for dressing on the side or LIGHTLY dressed. read more
