Been a customer for five years, both termite and pest and more tecentlymosquito control. Despite this, my house continues to be flooded with ants and their treatments have been ineffective. After a couple years of this I went ahead and bought my own stuff and the ants have disappeared and stayed gone so I decided to take over doing it all myself. Tried for months calling to cancel and no one would return my calls, credit card kept getting charged until it expired. Then they actually called once the charge wouldn't go through. I returned the call and got the answering service (as usual) and told them to cancel my services (again) and to send a final bill and for a customer rep to call so I could explain why. A month goes by, not a single call. I wake up this morning to their service tech in my yard pulling up the termite stations I paid $1,200 to have installed. No notice, no paperwork in hand showing I authorized this. I called the company (normal business hours) - got the answering service again who says no one is available to speak with and I can leave a message. In short - the technician who comes out is very kind and courteous, but the corporate end has zero customer service these days and I would not recommend them at all. They are great when getting you to sign up and once they have your business they don't put any effort in to maintaining it. Go elsewhere or do it yourself. * update as of 10/10/2019 - my HVAC system stopped working and the exterior unit (which is directly against the wall) was found full of dead mice and clogged up beyond ability to run. Cost almost a $1,000 to repair; clearly ProTechs pest control service wasn't effective in this case either. read more

Protech could not resolve an ant issue w/i my home. Their service calls unfortunately consisted of a a gentleman not examining the issue but doing outside of the home calls. Overall the hundreds of dollars we spent with them were wasted. A few simple any bait traps ended up resolving the issues. I suggest not wasting your time or your money with protech. read more

Talk about your "no-nonsense", service-with-a-smile, reliable, speedy service! We had a yellow jacket nest by our front door that needed treating, because those pests were stinging the whole family without provocation. I had no idea who to contact, and there didn't seem to be anything that stood out locally on yelp as far as pest control. I blindly called Protech on a Monday. That Wednesday morning, they sent over "Marvin," who showed up on time and with the necessary equipment to treat the problem then and there. In all of about 10 minutes, problem solved. And if this wasn't enough, it's hugely worth noting that this company is local and family-owned! We are very pleased Protech's service. We were referred to Pro-Tech, specifically George, by a neighbor. We called them in march when a friend noticed evidence of a mouse in our basement and my attempt at snap traps didn't seem to be working. George came out and inspected my 80 year old house (which I had owned for about 6 months) from top to bottom. He identified and plugged ~50 orifices where critters could enter the house, and gave us 2 more as a "follow up" which were beyond his pest-control bounds (one was as simple as 'go buy a bag of rocks and dump it down a hole under the deck'). He gave me a thorough report out of what he found and showed me all the areas where he had left traps. George's knowledge and passion impressed me. That, combined with my dislike of critters, led us to sign up for a year-long service plan. George comes out every other month and sprays the outside of the house. We had a concern about termites from a delivery of firewood so we called to arrange a visit when we were at home. He thoroughly investigated the wood, as well as the interior of the house, changing all the traps - and priding himself on a mouse and two large spiders caught in the traps! George takes an enormous amount of pride in his work and that really shows. It is worth every bit of the bi-monthly service fee to know that when I have concerns about pests in (or outside of) my house, he is just a call away. I have been doing business with ProTech and this year they have decided to give below par customer service. I got a post card stating they would come out the following week -- I put it on my calendar. They didn't come, so I called and they told me I had made a mistake and they were coming out the following week -- I said okay -- come out the following week -- they didn't come out the following week either, so I called again and they said they would come out at the end of the following week. Uh, no -- Marvin called me and said he had "time constraints" and couldn't come out until the following weeks -- so I cancelled -- are you kidding? you want me to pay you for this lousy service? read more

Have used the last year. Found termites in house. No damage, but use their treatment plan and Sentricon as well as bimonthly pest perimeter treatment. Mr. Grigsby comes out and is a real pro. They send you an appointment card as well phone call to alert you for their visits. Have noticed no pests since they started! read more

George, the technician, came out to inspect our house after I saw a roach, some mouse droppings, and a giant wasp nest at our home. He was not pushy, and let me know the things I could do on my own about the mice, since it didn't seem like a dire situation. He treated the outside of the house and plugged some holes that we didn't even know existed, all the while being the most pleasant, professional, thorough, and efficient person we've ever had come do house-related services. These people are excellent. I found a roach in the house and hit the panic alarm. I was afraid that if I found one there must be a colony. The service tech arrived on the same day and assured me it was only a wood rich which probably came in when I was carrying fire wood. We had also been seeing the occasional silver fish and ants, so we signed up for service. The ants are a little persistent and we have had the technician back a few times. Each time he was meticulous about searching for a source and putting down the needed product. The tech is very conscientious about putting a cover over his shoes so he doesn't track in dirt. They have not charged us for the extra visits. I highly recommend this business. read more

I first hired ProTech because of their sterling reviews on Angies List. I bought a one year service plan from them and I am going on year 2 with them. They come out to do a treatment around my house every 2 months and always call ahead and leave a report on my front door to tell me what they did. When I had a spring invasion of ants, they made several house calls to treat the infestation indoors. I was finally ant free. Any time I spot a bug indoors, they have always been happy to come out to treat it when I ask. I have a baby at home and they are very conscientious about not spraying any harsh chemicals indoors.
