Thursday 4:45 pm I thought they opened at 4, but they obviously are open before then (happy hour 11-4- more there is an additional happy hour from 4-8, with separate items) Anyway, PARKING IS Self-park and free before 6. After 6, they put up cones and you pay $20 for valet. I asked the guy as I was leaving if I were to come right now could I park free, myself. He said there was only valet. Call to confirm before you go. Things change. Anyway there is a McDonald's right next door and a Burger King across the street. What you do with that information is your business- although I'm sure there is some kind of tow sign somewhere. Parking, even at 4:30 was full. I squoze- yes squoze- into a park behind the building right beside a pole. Vibe : this was my kind of music. 90s r&b. Hookah available Dog friendly patio- I saw a service dog, so it may or may not be open for all dogs. I got seafood eggrolls (4) for like $12? The bar tender made sure to let me know that happy hour for those were over but price wasn't a concern. I still appreciated her letting me know. I heard from another patron that the food wasn't all that- the vibes, apps, and drinks were okay hay this love was about, so I didn't order a meal. One of the best wings that I've had was at the Prospect Park. Some of these wing giants cant even tackle the ones from the park. Wednesday's are the wing special days. As it's been a few months since I've gone to the park, it used to be 50cents each for a pack of 8. They have a vast variety of flavors. My favorite ones are the Caribbean jerk, dry lemon pepper and the house prospect wings. Wings are seasoned very good. And u can feel the flavors gush thru your mouth the second you bite that poultry. The hostess out front was rude, don't bother making a reservation on a busy day- they don't observe them unless you made a reservation for a big party. Taylor saved our experience! The other waitresses were not super friendly but Taylor literally was amazing to our entire party even though she only served four of us! I really wanted to like this place, but I just can't. We arrived a bit after 7pm and was forced to pay 20 for parking when there was plenty of parking available and it was still dinner hours so I don't know why we had to pay for parking other than a money grab. We were seated within a few minutes, and the music was so loud that we couldn't hear each other or our server. She took our drink order, which seemed to take a long time considering the few patrons in the building. Our area had one other group of 4 seated and that was it. The food was also fairly slow and the drinks are ridiculously sweet and overpriced. My food was midgrade for the price. I had grilled catfish and shrimp with mac and cheese and veggies. It was just okay. My husband's Hennessey wings were cold, but it took so long to find our sever that he decided just to eat them so we could leave. We came here twice. Once for the night time vibe and the other for the restaurant/lounge feel. The night life is crackin af. Everybody was courteous and respectful. If someone bumped you, they acknowledged and said excuse me or my bad. The only way to Oder drinks is to go to the bar. They have a great drink menu. The waitress that made our drinks was the f***ing best. (Excuse my language) but she was. We ordered a blue hurricane frozen beverage. It was so freaking good. We also ordered a watermelon smash and a Pineapple Express. They were served in these giant fish bowls with fresh fruit. She put some dry ice in them also and it gave the Smokey illusion. The drinks were filled with tons of liquor (I watched her pour for forever) BUT you couldn't taste it. My wife finished her drinks and said she was buzzed (she's a lightweight). We went the following day. The Yelp reviews had me skeptical but I decided to try anyway. We ordered the wings and boudin balls, the salmon and shrimp entrée, the catfish and shrimp platter, and the oxtail entree. Everything was fresh and piping hot. The waitress was nice and attentive. The parking here is crazy. Don't park at the McDonald's cause they will tow your car. I made a reservation here awhile ago and they lost it somehow. My friends and I were still able to get a seat though. We came on Wednesday to get the 50¢ wings and they were good. I got regular hot wings and mango habanero and they were big and flavorful. I also got a happy hour drink, but it wasn't strong at all. Most of their drinks are just sweet. The music and atmosphere is chill so it's a good place to come with friends. Ambiance/Vibe: They have an indoor and outdoor space that can facilitate all of your needs. It was a beautiful set up outside and I liked how they incorporated the lounge chairs as well. Music was good too! Service: We went during brunch time so it was pretty busy & self seating; but lucky for us we didnt have to wait. Unfortunately, we sat for about 30 minutes before finding ourselves a waitress (there seemed to be a disagreement about the order in taking tables). After we got a server she was attentive and she made sure we were all squared away before changing shifts. (service and self seating are the main reasons for the 4 stars). Food/Drinks: 10000% would eat EVERYTHING again! The drinks were good and I loved that they came with candy or dry ice (nice twist). The lobster bites were a tad salty but honestly still good. No complaints otherwise! Hookah: Bussin' as is ALL HOOKAH that we had in houston! Something about Houston Hookah! ^_^ Recommendation: Go a little early or call in advance for reservations and seat somewhere close to the traffic of the servers so you do not get over looked. I rarely write reviews so please bear with me.. Came for National Tequila Day, for the deal posted on their instagram. Tequila deals and .50 cent wings today, Wednesday. My group of 4, arrived at 1915. Got seated at 1918. Waited 15 minutes around 1933/1935 and nobody came to check on us, or serve us. Got our drinks at the bar. We waited until 2022 before the Manager Jason came over to us. We explained the situation how we could have ordered food and beverages from the get go and if they would honor the deal since nobody had come to check on us. Mind you this is after speaking to 3 different waitresses, who continuously walked past us, but the table behind us got served from the rip. Jason came to talk to us and explained he could not honor the deal, regardless of the staff shortage and the time we had already waited.. which is not the consumers problem, it's the establishments problem. He stated he can order us a round on him for the inconvenience and then send someone over. We continued to wait another 20 minutes, drinks never came and eventually the server (one of the 4 who we spoke with, asked, and continued to bother for service) came over to us and at this point we were over the whole evening. We were ready to spend money, tip generously and eat our food content, which we could not do. I've been here once before and had a similar experience, but figured we could try it again.
