Lamb chops and loaded potatoes
Janae T.

My cousins and I came here on a Friday. The only special they had was $3 lamb chops but that was a good enough special for me lol. You could either get them dry or with the sauce and it was a 3 lamb chop minimum. I just ordered lamb chops and a side of loaded potatoes without the bacon. It did take a while due to how big our party was and the waitress saying the kitchen was backed up, but the lamb chops were pretty good. They weren't too small, it fulfilled me and the sauce on it was good too . The mashed potatoes were good too they tasted house made tbh. We sat outside and they had music playing and offered hookah if I'm not mistaken. There was an inside with the bar and more seating, the place was pretty spacious and it was a good day to sit outside.

Nice chill vibes here! I heard it use to be crazy popular.. but today it was very chill, we were able to get a table and eat and hang out. Our server was Ciara, she was really nice and smiling the whole time! Even though other tables were calling her, she had time to still stop by and make sure we were okay. The chicken tenders were good.. but baby those tacos were trash.. smh! I mean no taste at all.. Overall I'd come back honestly just to try other things on the menu and sit at the bar.

$2.00 Friday special lamb chops

Cool spot, especially for Happy Hour. We went on a Friday around 6:30 and was able to enjoy deals until 8pm and 10pm. They had hookah for $10.00, several apps 1/2 price and great drink specials. They even had lamb chops for $2.00. Food was good and we left feeling good and full. My only compliant is this $20 parking charge thing this place does. This is a thing in Houston, but it's annoying if I'm patronizing the business-- and we weren't there longer than 2 hours. Shani was our server and she was great. We'd return, and park at McDonalds for free.

Limited carb option .... Taco Tuesday

Taco Tuesday with limited carbs ..... Just dropped in for a drink this evening .... There was tipping only for valet so that was nice touch no paid parking fee. We set outside for the nice fall weather coming (and going)... the chicken meat was a bit too salty for me so didn't eat much partner did tho ...the shrimp was just right ..... I'd order the shrimp again for sure! Automatic gratuity yes, waitress was less than mediocre honestly ... she sat a table nearby chatting it up wasn't taking active orders ....when waved for her she gave us that "1 minute finger " gesture what she was doing certainly wasn't working that convo could have waited needless to say I didn't not add to her tip. The 4stars is for the vibe ambience and the shrimp taco and how they plated our limited carb option !! Good job ! I will still pop in from time to time on non peak days.

The food was delicious! The vibes was immaculate. Nice environment for a cool vibe on a weekend!

I adore Prospect Park. The wings are always on point. We tried their brunch, which was good as well. It's a lounge-type vibe, so customer service is okay, but if it gets packed, then it's a bit slow.  Parking is also bananas, so expect to pay. It's spacious inside, and they have a nice outdoor seating area.  They offer non-breaded versus breaded wings. I always go with the breaded. The prospect park wing sauce is a must! The oxtail and grits were delicious. Enjoy the atmosphere and the food. The music is kind of loud, but I am aging, so it might be fine for others.

Hookah and a Margarita asked for blue raspberry(they didn't have) then ordered strawberry but they brought me mango lol

I've been here multiple times only because a friend loves their $5 shots. I really wanted to give this place a decent review before giving a poor review. But unfortunately the more I went the less I liked this place. The happy hour drink menu is decent, but beyond that, it's hit or miss. They frequently don't have items listed on the menu, and the slushy machine is almost always out of order. Their food availability is questionable.. many times, I hear, "Let me check if we have that." I tried to order seafood, but they didn't have it. So, I went with the happy hour wings 8 for $12. While they do offer a better deal on Wednesdays $12 for 8 wings doesn't really feel like a happy hour special. The wings were huge way too big for my liking. I gave them to my friend and even he left some on the plate because of their size. Another issue was the hookah pricing. Mondays are supposed to have a $10 hookah special, but we were charged $40. When we questioned it, they showed us a text saying the special was no longer available, despite it being clearly listed on the menu. That felt misleading. This place has potential but needs better organization and consistency. On the plus side, the servers are friendly, they have heaters for colder nights and valet/parking spaces available the bathrooms are somewhat clean. However, the dining area could use a deep clean. Overall, it's just okay.. nothing special.

Not sure if we didn't come at a prime time on Saturday but this place was very much corny. 2 drinks I asked for they didn't have all the stuff to make so I had to settle for something else... Service was lack luster. Didn't try the food. However the music was good.

I had an extremely long day and had skipped lunch, so the 50 cent Wed wing special was right on time! Unashamedly, I ordered 20 wings (Caribbean Jerk, Hot Lemon Pepper, and Asian Zing - they were all lukewarm, but edible), seafood dip (the star of the show) AND fries (crispy and seasoned to perfection). Needless to say, I had plenty of leftovers for lunch the next day. I also ordered two of the half-priced favorite drinks: The Vaccine and the Greatest. They both could have used more alcohol, but was refreshing enough between my dip fulls of overloaded tortilla chips stacked with crab meat and shrimp. I orrived just before 5pm, thankfully, because parking was free at the time ($20 after 5pm) and there was plenty of seating, though the bar stools are very hard and uncomfortable. During this visit the waittresses were extremely kind and welcoming, and the playlist featured Drake in heavy rotation. It wasn't at all crowded. The bathrooms could have used a bit more cleaning (toilet paper was strewn about), but otherwise, it was a good way to unwind after a long (food-less!) work day!

The food is okay here. Iv'e been to prospect a couple times and the food is a hit or miss. The drinks are good. But be aware of the tab. They will charge tip and add additional tip on their own.

Pretty decent place to come and have fun! It's def one of Houston's turn up spots. Live good dj and of course hookah. I don't do hookah but my friends said their hookah here is good! It's a nice spacious ambiance inside with a bar and outside patio. We sat in the outside patio and it was very nice with good size booths! The service was ok just don't like how parking is $20.00. I do recommend here for sure for a good time. I just suggest doing Uber! -Marshay D.

As you walk in, you'll be greeted by the 70's/80's/90's bar music of rock/disco and chessboard floor pattern. Then you get your drink order from one of the many pleasant bartenders (or Louie) and sit either inside or outside and think to yourself you're the luckiest person in the world. So they specialize in three things: cocktails/liquors, cigars, and patio seating. When you combine all three of those, it's the perfect bar. Cocktails such as ol fashions and cape cods are plentiful here. I also appreciate they do a new york sour here which is an underrated cocktail. Cigars are sold here too and they have cutters and plenty of torch lighters to spark them up. Outside on their patio deck has plenty of seating with some of those heaters in case you houstonians can't handle the cold. Only gripe is I wish they had a larger wine selection as they only have bordeuax or a red blend. Not sure if they serve white wines either. But there's wine bars for that. You're here for the hard stuff or a quick beer, maybe a cigar, and definitely a peace of mind. That's what keeps me coming back!

Before that, I remember the baguette bread and very well-seasoned meat, etc. These were the closest to ones from Philly, bc even to this day, other places often make atrocious Philly sandwiches. I went here recently a few times for the first time in 5 years. I ordered the 6 inch Back Home Philly with no cheese, plus a side of tomatoes togo. The bread was more of a soft, dense and slightly chewier type rather than crispier version like the former baguettes. It was still a great bread option resembling one you'd get from an authentic Philly sandwich. The onions n mushrooms were obviously great n cooked well adding more excitement in taste. The tomatoes were nicely cool n refreshing with some contrast to the warm saltiness of this sub. The meat itself was seasoned enough and tender in every bite. Not as deep in seasoning as years ago, but still definitely done right. It was a delicious, fresh and comforting sandwich and would definitely come here for it at times when craving a Philly steak. I would say Jake's and Philly Flats are the only ones like the real thing down here. I do prefer the seasoning from Jake's even more tbh. Great, very welcoming and efficient service on these visits.

Well, it turns out, there was a World Cup soccer match going on. The place nearly cleared out after the game was over. Anyhow, when the place was packed it was very loud. But once it cleared out, not bad. Upon arrival I learned the hard way that it's open seating. I stood at the entrance for about 5 minutes and then was told to find whatever open seat I could find. We mainly went for drinks but decided "what the heck" and ordered food. The buffalo wings were good but not great. Same with the Marinara pizza. I was impressed with the size and the crust was pretty good. I suggest adding jalapeños to it. We also ordered a sushi roll (who knew you could order that and they just get it from Sushi on Post Oak next door). That roll was pretty good but also very pricey. Overall, pretty good experience and I'll be back. Parking lot is also large with plenty of spaces which I appreciate.
