The crawfish is great even when they are sometimes small ones thrown in the juice/flavor rocks!!! You can sit outside or inside lately because of the flies I've been inside to avoid the annoyance of the bugs. I didn't care too much for the server preferably Chloe she didn't check on us the entire time the chef came out More than she did. We were looking for somewhere chill to watch the playoff games so we came to the Deck. I had never been here and honestly thought it was a sports bar. We sat on the patio and they had one large tv to watch the game. When the waiter came to take our order, I asked if she had a drink menu and she said ehh don't do that there because they're a dive bar. She made some other remarks in which I couldn't tell if she was trying to be funny or a smart mouth but either way it seemed a bit odd. Idk if customer service is a thing at dive bars but I say all this to say, come with low expectations (mainly with customer service) and you won't be disappointed. I offered a frozen strawberry margarita and it was aight. It was served in a styrofoam to-go cup. It was really sour at first but it was tolerable after the first few sips. The best crawfish in the city. Spicy, juicy, seasoned. I also really like the fried mushrooms. It's definitely a hole in the wall though so I would keep that in mind when it comes to cleanliness. Other places I go to the drinks alone are $13. Also the drinks are strong so that's a plus. I think their food is good and when I get the crawfish I ask for the garlic butter! So tasteful. I had just the curly fries this past time I went & was soo good and crunchy. I was surprised. They have a good selection of food on their menu. A little bit of everything. The service is iffy, if they are busy it's slow & if it's not busy they are fast. I love the girls that work there though. They are the sweetest. I got 5 pounds of crawfish and 1/2 pound of shrimp, the crawfish tasted like they came from different batches--some were so bad I had to spit them out. There was no juice in the heads, so don't even bother if you like to suck the heads. The shrimp was over cooked and would not peel. Customer service could definitely be better. I went last week to go and eat Crawfish with a friend of mine. I was so excited to go and eat Crawfish because it's my fav. We both got the 3lb/$24 special. The Crawfish were a decent size but were wayyyy too salty. The juice was salty as well. We ate most of them as I just stopped sucking on the heads due to them being too salty. I did not feel well after eating them. I think that they raised up my blood pressure. I went home, showered, and got in the bed. My friend also had a huge headache. I have been to the deck many times for the most part I enjoy myself when I go. The food is pretty good and they have daily specials. I'm giving them 3 stars because I have seen some crazy things. The first time I went a waitress began arguing with a male customer. Lots of profanity was used followed up with 2 middle fingers. The crazy part was the she was cussing and tryng to wait on a table at the same time. The people at the table looked so confused. So don't park and think your going to one of the surrouding businesses. You will be towed! My only complaint is the service and not knowing whether or not a fight is gonna break out. This was my 2nd time visiting this place. But I do know for a fact that they have really good crawfish!!!!! But my friend and I came here on a Thursday night for Happy Hour. It was $4 you call its and special on the beer and wings. The wings were I believe 55cents and you had to get a minimum of 5. I had 3 vodka and tonics, and ordered the zesty lemon pepper wings. They were pretty good...this is a nice lowkey place to watch the games and have conversations with friends.. I failed to update my previous review from years ago... so here I go! I ordered 10 wings grilled and deep fried extra crispy. My wings were not extra crispy so I sent them back with Pushma the waitress. She then 2 mins later brings me 9 wings from my original order REFRIED and hella greasy. I asked her if my suspicions were correct and she confirmed the fact that the cook just dropped the wings back in the grease and fried them longer instead of just remaking my order on the fly. Okay, this is a dive (sports) bar and it's a neighborhood gem. They play all the baseball, football, hockey, soccer, basketball and whatever sports is in season. I've been coming here since 2010 and it's one of those places that you don't expect the food to be good. It's actually exceptionally good for bar food and everything is made fresh. Monday - it's steak night and Thursday, they have chicken wing specials. Happy Hour is from 11am to 7pm Monday through Friday. The drink prices are definitely reasonable and there's no "pretentiousness" here and there are quite a few regulars (including myself) that come here frequently. When crawfish is in season, this is the place to go and have some. BTW, the parking can be a problem. There is always an on-duty parking attendant/bouncer. And they will tow your vehicle if you aren't a customer or guest of the establishment. And after 9pm, there is no one allowed in the bar/restaurant that is under 21 years of age. read more

I'm hesitant to post about The Deck because I love that it's truly a gem in the Westminster area. However. The Deck has my FAVORITE crawfish in Houston. Period. Don't debate me. Their drinks are reasonably priced always and I haven't had anything on the menu (I've been going for 5 years) that's disappointing. I love their pasta, burgers, all the typical bar foods, but they have grilled wings that are literally out of this world amazing and 'clean'. So you can find healthy options and not healthy options. This is one of my few fave spots to get crawfish. The very first time I had crawfish here, they were very flavorful with spice, however they were slightly too salty, BUT they were still very good. The second and third time (dont judge, I really love crawfish..lol) they were on point! They have 3lbs for $24, which isn't that bad. The reason for the 4 star rating is strictly because the crawfish is good. The only other food I've had are the potato skins (Skins Game) and the frito pie. I love the potato skins, however the frito pie, not so much, it was okay. I think the white onion chunks on top really messed it up for me. So FYI, when they ask do you want onions on the frito pie, just know they're not talking about green onion chives, they're referring to white onion chunks.
