Thought I'd provide some up to date pics for this fantastic small biz! I accidentally entered through the front door not realizing that you order at the little window. They were somewhat concerned LMAO. The man running the window was super nice & very helpful/patient. He was also rockin a lil face mask & we stan a conscious king. The prices here cannot be beat either. My box was $7 & the donuts were really good. No gimmicks. Just the classics.

*Note: As a connoisseur of what I call Crack, let me make one simple point. Almost ALL of your "Old School" Mom and Pop independent Donut Shops are selling donuts that are $1.00 and under for the most part excluding Fancies which are a couple "George Washington's" more, bring CASH, these places aren't your Hipster $3.50 - $5.00 EACH Donuts! #BallersCarryCash Came here in the early am to a pretty good size line, but moved rather quickly, got my usual Apple Fritter. Apple Fritter - https://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/pronto-donuts-pasadena?select=ZYGqNNTibokRoOBUtf7oag&userid=mXl8GMozjLoraG7PyFHWkg Good size but not many apples and lacked spice https://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/pronto-donuts-pasadena?select=jxFkiXVexxjmWvg1aGv2pA&userid=mXl8GMozjLoraG7PyFHWkg glaze was pretty sweet. 2-Stars

Donuts are hands down one of my favorite foods. With that being said I can be very picky when it comes to donuts. I have been looking for a reliable, go-to donut shop near my house. I'm all for those trendy donut shops with crazy creations but sometimes I just want a classic. The first donut I ever tried here was a glaze twist. If a donut shop can't make a good basic glaze then I usually don't trust that the rest would be good. A regular glaze is plain and boring, I know. But it is honestly one of my favorites. When I think of donuts I think of this classic. It was also my favorite as a kid. Well after one bite I knew this place was going to be my go to. It was for one, huge, and fluffy. It was so soft and just covered in glaze. It was honestly the best and in my opinion better than Donut Man. Little by little I've tried more selections and with everyone my taste buds are in heaven! Like most places, the donuts are best in the morning when they are fresh. It's a small donut shop and so I don't expect them to be making a ton throughout the day. There is a decent amount of seating inside. Sign says cash only and I've never tried to pay with a card. So play it safe and bring cash. The outside window is so convenient for an on the go pick up. In my opinion, this is a reliable place. I have never had a problem with the service as I've seen other reviews mention. They are always polite and quick to serve. I recommend them to anyone looking for a simple, tasty reliable, donut.

To each their own, but I find simple blueberry and cream filled donuts boring and Colorado Donuts truly delivers on unique, different flavor donuts. My favorite donuts from them are definitely the crème brûlée and the dulce de leche. They're both super soft, have the perfect amount of filling and are not overly sweet, which is very nice. They also have a nice selection of vegan donuts and even ice cream. Definitely a place to stop by, not to mention the staff is always very nice and helpful.

I was full from my burger dinner so I just bought a few: CUSTARD & BERRIES CROISSANT DONUT Oh yes, this was a special treat--you get custard and fresh berries, and all the layers of a croissant--glazed! So yummy! BLUEBERRY CAKE - You're standard blueberry glazed cake donut and it was delicious! My all time favorite anywhere. APPLE FRITTER - On the greasy side but I think all fritters tastes like this. I still enjoyed it but too much may make you feel a tad sick since you tastes the oil it was deep fried in. UBE DONUT - The fact that it has ube in both the dough and frosting, you truly get the maximum ube flavor experience and it's out of this world! This was a freebie and I feel quite dumb not ordering it to begin with. Thank you! NOTE: Tip is cash only so be sure to bring some to tip cuz the owner is super sweet! He threw in a complimentary donut for me!

The staff here are super kind and their espresso drinks and coffees are perfectly made. But, their breakfast sandwiches and pastries are the stars. The staff were very nice and the space was super cute! I mainly came in for coffee and got an iced ganache mocha with oat milk and cold foam. To put it politely: it was bad. It didn't taste like coffee or mocha and the salted cold foam didn't help, despite my frantic stirring to try to mix it in. It was a $10 drink --$12 after tip, so I tried my best to finish it but was pretty bummed. I know a few spots I could've gotten my order for better and cheaper. But now I know! I didn't want to leave without getting a pastry of some kind so I got a brownie ($6.50 I think? $7 and change after tax) and it was good. There was an aftertaste I didn't love at first but I got used to it and it was a decent size. If I had stuck to the pastries maybe I would've had a different experience. I really appreciate a gluten free bakery and I'll probably come back to try their assortment of baked goods. I'll just grab coffee somewhere else first.
