Born and raised in Pasadena, i've been coming here for as long as i can remember and this Donut shop has always been my go-to. Super friendly staff with fast, consistent service. I always love getting the blueberry donuts and a strawberry kiwi smoothie. Never fails. Over all, Gladstone is an amazing donut shop loved by the locals. Highly recommended if your in the area or just craving a good donut!

On the quest to find the best donuts Pasadena has to offer. Gladstone had that smell upon arrival, IYKYK! The cashier was kind, she greeted me with a smile and informed me of their steal of a deal of 6 donuts for $8. I ordered a Chocolate and a Glazed Raised, a Blueberry Cake, Strawberry cake, Vanilla Raised w/ sprinkles and a Maple Cake. Allllllll of em were HITTERS, they won't steeer you wrong here.

Glazed twist, cinnamon crumb, apple fritter, glazed old fashioned, devils food with sprinkles.

You wanted a great donut and this is the place. One of the best in SGV, if not LA. The apple fritter is exceptional - lots of apple chunks, not too sweet, crispy outside and edges and tender moist on the inside. *chefs kiss* More than the donuts, the service is incredibly exceptional. Friendly, kind, patient, thoughtful. AND, they survived pandemic and have been wonderful community supporters in the post-Eaton fire period. They are only 2 blocks away from burned down homes and buildings. Help them and help Altadena/Pasadena restore and revive.. come to Gladstones Donuts and your heart and your stomach will be glad you did!!

The younger generation of the Gladstone owners have taken over and they make the best tasting, most artistic donuts around.

Vietnamese coffee, strawberry cake, already eaten glaze.

Wow great donuts and super friendly service. Small family business that knows how to make perfect donuts. I LOVE donuts and am pretty picky when it comes to them. My go to is a simple glaze and for example I really dislike it when I can taste the oil it's fried in and theirs was PERFECT so fluffy and soft but has a nice outer layer. Also got a Vietnamese coffee - so good. Gladstone Donut House is a must try

    Blueberry glaze!

I wanted something special that couldnt be found anywhere else which is also very picture-worthy. Luckily other reviews and pictures of donuts from this shop led me to going in person to check out the goods and placing a huge order. I was firstly looking at the online menu, and I couldnt find that giant donut, so i called to ask for help and clarify which one it was so i can get them. The person who answered the phone at the time was super helpful and even saved me a texas donut when i mentioned i was coming by in the next few minutes. When i arrived, i knew it was going to be special for the people im sharing this with. When ordering online, the one i wanted was actually marked as "Out of Stock" (Texas Chocolate), so i made a note that i wanted a different donut using another donut that was still available to order (Texas Glzed). When I received my 14 boxes, it was the correct one that I wanted substituted. They were nicely organized and it presented well. Theyre not stingy with the toppings either. You really get a good value out of it. The staff was really friendly too (why not? it smells wonderful inside). Definitely two thumbs up for me especially with large orders.

I had a lovely experience at Old Ferry Donut (San Gabriel). I ordered the Tiramisu Donut ($4.95)…read more It's a fluffy, BIG donut that tastes like a decadent tiramisu. It's also filled with a light, soft cream. DELICIOUS! I arrived at Old Ferry Donut (San Gabriel) on a Wednesday (around 3:42PM). Parking is simple. There's a competitive customer parking lot. And there's a city public parking lot about a two minute walk away. Staff is very friendly, professional, and welcoming. Staff maintained a bright smile throughout my visit. Staff immediately helped me. Customers can order at the self-service kiosk or counter; however, the kiosk felt very dated & the prices on the kiosk felt less transparent. I recommend just ordering at the counter. There's no penalty for using card at this donut establishment. As mentioned, I love the Tiramisu Donut ($4.95). It's not too sweet; rather, it all felt balanced. However, this is a VERY messy donut; I recommend eating this donut with a fork and knife. The powder fall everywhere, and your clothes can quickly get stained with chocolate powder. Still, it's a delicious pastry. On ambiance, Old Ferry Donut (San Gabriel) is comfortable. This business is more reminiscent of a cafe than a typical donut shop. There's customer internet with password; details on the counter. There's a gender neutral restroom. And there's an electrical outlet & outlet adaptor for devices. The location is fairly small; there's one interior table and one small counter. Fortunately, this place felt airy and well-ventilated. There's also some upbeat, fun music in this clean spot. Overall, I found unexpected joy at Old Ferry Donut (San Gabriel). There's sincere passion & hard work within these walls. If searching for a special donut for a special someone, this is an easy spot to recommend. 4.9 out of 5! Go!

Ordered a single shot espresso and the very popular butter pistachio donut. It was HUGE. I shared it with a co-worker as I knew there was just no way I alone could finish it. This thing was decadent... and totally up anyone's alley who has a severe sweet tooth. I typically do not like overly sweet things, but I have to admit, this was very good. The espresso was good and strong, and for me, a single shot was more than enough to get me through my morning. As I was the only customer in the place at the time, service was quick and friendly. I will definitely be back to try other donuts!
