The store itself is pretty small with no frills inside, which was fine. They had to send my watch to another store to get it replaced so it took 3 business days. The cost was around $125. Kind of high for a watch battery but cheaper than a new smart watch. My only complaint is that I took my watch in because of a bad battery so my % battery on drop off was like 10%. When I picked my new battery watch up, it was a 3%... I would have liked to have had them charge it some at least so that I could see that the new battery was replaced. It is kind of like picking up a watch or clock at another store and it isnt wound or set to the right time. But it worked find once i charged it I was glad to do this route vs a new watch.

Forget the fancy office; these guys know their stuff.

Also offered to repair again, but after the escalation of this situation and dealing with staff at store on multiple occasions in-person and phone asking to have this done in the first place, we declined to use them to repair the cracked screen. Update: "Jeff", the manager reached out to repair via text, but we simply don't trust this business after visiting in person and then calling twice afterwards to have them replace in one day. Sorry, but we have never had a cracked phone screen in this household until we used your product. And it very well could have been cracked or dropped by your business since we noticed the cracks less than 18 hours after getting the phone back. It's a shame you couldn't replace it when we brought it to the store. Hopefully, a refund will be made since we gave you three chances to make it right. Steer clear! This place will swindle you. They do not honor warranty. Had a screen replaced because the touch aspect stopped working. Had phone for four years and never had a cracked screen. Less than 24 hours after getting it replaced, screen cracked and not by dropping. Paid $150 to replace the first time for an older Samsung Galaxy. Staff was rude and said they don't replace from phone drops, but if they opened phone they could tell if it was dropped or not. Hmmm, so I should believe them to tell me if the phone was or wasn't dropped? As it's an older phone (four years), I can guarantee it has been dropped a few times, so looks like an easy out for them to not cover warranty. They are either really bad at repairs or offer cheap replacement products to customers. Go to a more reputable place, like Computer Cave. They are honest and offer quality repair and products. Staff at this Fruit Fixed Store couldn't even tell me how much the part the cost or even acknowledge that glass can crack from cheap quality or improper repair. Save your money and repair elsewhere at a more reputable place.

Both repairs were completed by a young guy, very pleasant, courteous and knowledgeable, he even laughed at my bad jokes. Both repair were completed in less than 30 minutes. My wife's phone repair cost $80 and she's had no problems at all since the repair ( about 2 months). The battery on the other phone was done for $45. Parts were $25 and labor $20. Verizon wanted $40 just for their battery! Definitely recommend iRite to anyone who needs their iPhone repaired.

10/10 would recommend! Thought there was nobody that would be able to fix my (older) devices. They diagnosed my macbook charging and battery issues over the phone and serviced it same day. My laptop was back in my hands within the 30 minute visit to the store. They were very friendly and gave me plenty of tips on how to keep my devices working. I am always on the go and need my devices in work and extracurricular situations so they get dirty quickly, Promac took a look and cleaned so much from my devices. I have visited three times now with device problems and Promac always go the extra mile for by far the best price. Got months longer out of my iPhone when I thought I would have to scrap it and buy a new one with various broken parts. As they did with the macbook, they explained the issues they found and went beyond what I had asked for and helped fix issues under the hood they found while servicing my iPhone, all without surprise fees and last-minute issues. Very smooth experience, my to-go for a few months now for tech issues! Definitely check them out. I am surprised me every time with how far they are willing to go to do the best job. 10/10! read more

I am a student at VCU who is very busy with school work. I typically go to RamTech on campus for any tech needs since I have a warranty with them, but due to some of the protests throughout the city, I needed another place to go, and fast. I found ProMac on Google and I decided to pray that they could help me. I walked in and they were the kindest people I could have had help me. They gave me a student discount to fix my MacBook Pro and within the hour, my computer was back up and running again like nothing happened. I had a similar issue occur a few weeks later and I immediately went back to Promac to see if they could help. They informed me that my computer was under their warranty and my computer was fixed like nothing had happened once more. And at no extra cost! I was thrilled to find a place like this for my tech needs. I would recommend this place to anyone in Richmond that needs their computer, phone, laptop, or other devices fixed! So I have tried almost every Mac/pc repair store in the greater Richmond area, and frankly haven't had a good experience anywhere. That changed when I went into promac off broad. I was looking to upgrade my ram and add a solid state to my 21.5 inch 2017 4K iMac, and after going three other places receiving $300+ quotes and a turn around for the job being 2 weeks at best. Safe to say I was losing faith. Kelvin made me feel valued as a customer, and HE DID THE WORK IN A DAY. On top of that, he let me trade in Apple products to offset the labor cost. I still am blown away and I highly recommend Promac being your first stop for ANY potential work These guys are extremely professional and going forward they have my business. 10/10 Ask for Kelvin! read more

The keyboard on my brand new MacBook Pro broke and I had to ship it off to Apple for repair. When I got my backup MacBook Pro out the battery had gone bad. I replaced the battery but broke the trackpad in the process. I called every Mac repair shop in Richmond. Another business stood me up for an appointment so I called Kelvin. He had me come right over and had my trackpad replaced within 2 hours. Good price, excellent service, and I really enjoyed chatting with him and his staff. I will only use ProMac from now on. This is computer repair as it should be - knowledgeable, friendly staff, quick turn around when you're in a bind, and decent pricing. Thanks guys. Awesome experience with the guys at Promac! My Macbook pro was inaccessible due to software issues and after getting nowhere with Apple support (they told me I would have to do a full reset and lose all my data) I decided to take it in to the shop on W Broad. Within a couple hours they retrieved all of my data and had the laptop back up and running. Super friendly, responsive, and very very reasonable pricing. I would recommend Promac to anyone having computer issues and they will 100% be my first call if I ever have trouble in the future. read more

Wonderful experience. My Mac Air was not functioning. Within 10 minutes of entering Promac, Kelvin had a diagnosis [dead hard drive], the part ordered, and me on my way. A day and a half later I got a call that the computer was ready for me to pick it up. The cost was reasonable and Kelvin and his brother Joe [a family business] were extremely friendly while simultaneously being very professional. As I said: wonderful experience. read more

We previously used Fruit Fixed and while the repairs or assessments were good, their follow-ups were less than consistent. Often had to call them repeatedly to try to get updates. Decided to try Promac and so glad I did. Great staff. They replaced my iPad screen and kept me informed about the repair status and when it was ready. They even repaired the home button while doing the repair. Will definitely go back for any Apple repairs! read more

I am now a repeat customer after having them repair my Dell laptop I decided to bring my Samsung tablet in to have it evaluated to make sure everything was working properly and they even put my tempered glass on for free. High quality repair work (the SMC chip on my computer's logic board had failed) and customer service beyond the norm. Would use them again in the future and definitely will refer others! read more

My Mac desktop computer wasn't working. After close to three hours on the phone with Apple Support, I was no closer to having a working computer. Going to ProMac was like a breath of fresh air. Great service. The main board on my Macbook Pro died suddenly and not only did they diagnose the problem in half the time of the other spot I took it to, but they fixed it for $100 less. Communicative with updates, and they gave me a loaner laptop to use in the meantime. read more
