Update 2: 4-stars for owner 1-star for staff at location and repair Owner called and has sent a full refund after discussion. Also offered to repair again, but after the escalation of this situation and dealing with staff at store on multiple occasions in-person and phone asking to have this done in the first place, we declined to use them to repair the cracked screen. Update: "Jeff", the manager reached out to repair via text, but we simply don't trust this business after visiting in person and then calling twice afterwards to have them replace in one day. Sorry, but we have never had a cracked phone screen in this household until we used your product. And it very well could have been cracked or dropped by your business since we noticed the cracks less than 18 hours after getting the phone back. It's a shame you couldn't replace it when we brought it to the store. Hopefully, a refund will be made since we gave you three chances to make it right. Steer clear! This place will swindle you. They do not honor warranty. Had a screen replaced because the touch aspect stopped working. Had phone for four years and never had a cracked screen. Less than 24 hours after getting it replaced, screen cracked and not by dropping. Paid $150 to replace the first time for an older Samsung Galaxy. Staff was rude and said they don't replace from phone drops, but if they opened phone they could tell if it was dropped or not. Hmmm, so I should believe them to tell me if the phone was or wasn't dropped? As it's an older phone (four years), I can guarantee it has been dropped a few times, so looks like an easy out for them to not cover warranty. They are either really bad at repairs or offer cheap replacement products to customers. Go to a more reputable place, like Computer Cave. They are honest and offer quality repair and products. Staff at this Fruit Fixed Store couldn't even tell me how much the part the cost or even acknowledge that glass can crack from cheap quality or improper repair. Save your money and repair elsewhere at a more reputable place. read more

Stopped in today. My Pixel 5 couldn't hold onto the charging cord. I tried to clean out the lint in the USB port, but then my phone wouldn't charge at all. The technician was knowledgeable, helpful, and offered great customer service. I walked out 5 minutes later with a functioning phone. They did a fantastic job, and I certainly will do business with them again. read more

Don't bring your iPhone here. I spent $200 dollars for the tech to put a screen on in August. Waste of money. A few days ago, my iPhone Xs got sprayed with water (by a sprinkler while walking by - while in my pocket). I dried it off immediately (even though it's water resistant). It immediately started acting crazy, then the display burnt-in. It turned off and effectively died. I took it to the same Fruit Fixed store and asked their opinion. They immediately got defensive and told me that, "It's not the screen". "We did everything right." "We can install another screen for another $198 plus tax though." (insert laugh) So the next day I took it to the Apple store in Short Pump. The Apple Genius Bar tech told me that, "It was 100% due to the screen being installed incorrectly." and "The third party store should take responsibility for it." The phone had condensation in it from not being properly adhered to the body of the phone (Something that's done to keep it from being suspect to damp environments). The tech from the Apple store even printed out a service slip saying as much! The same day I took my iPhone back to the Fruit Fixed store. The tech essentially blew me off and told me that it had nothing to do with the screen. He didn't even read the service slip I brought from the Apple store. I'm advising all who read this, my friends, my family and random strangers to avoid this place. With this kind of service, they'll be out of business soon anyway. Adios! read more

Ever have a 16 year old with a broken phone and a busy schedule?? I brought my 16 year olds Iphone8 in at 7:35 on a Friday night (they close at 8). Dropped her off at Verizon right up the parking lot to stay in line because I thought we were going to have to move her to an older phone while trying to get her phone repaired. Jake said he could fix it that night! I thought I would have to leave it for the weekend at least! I left and went and took my daughter out of the queue at Verizon and by the time I got back up to Fruit Fixed it was ready to go. Don't get me wrong it cost a bit...but so worth it. Jake said he would stay later than closing to get it done for us. He went over the warranty with us and was very helpful. Jake's customer service were awesome! Will reccomend Fruit Fixed at Westchester Commons to my friends. read more

OK, this is the third edit of my review, but one that I am so happy to write. After some mishaps with my device, the owner of the company reached out directly to assure me that he would be taking care of my PC's issues personally and apologized for the poor management. I am so excited to be working with him to solve this issue and it's really cool that he cares about his company and his customers like that. Called after my screen, which I had replaced over Thanksgiving at the Westchester Commons location, had faded to black. I called and spoke with Treyvon, who listened to my concern and assured me that Fruit Fixed stands behind their free parts and labor warranty for all their work. He advised me to come right in and he will take a look right away. Trey was extremely professional and FIXED my iphone 7 in 20mins with a new screen and working like new for Free!! Im so pleased to see a local business operate at this level of customer service so close to where I live. It sucks having phone troubles, but now I have a fair and honest place to go to or refer friends/family when they have phone issues. Don't use this place- completely incompetent. I dropped off my ipod classic. Their website advertised a new hard drive install for $125. I went in to store at Westchester, Midlothian- quoted me $145. What? Asked about website- he said oh, ok $125. After about 8 days, got a call hard drive was delivered but the guy couldn't get the back off the ipod- had to send it to another store. I also asked about there warranty- said it was lifetime. Couple days later, called for me to pick up. The ipod WAS COMPLETELY MANGLED!!! The sides were bent out and I doubt the ipod back will remain in place. I asked about the mangled ipod- the guy said it had metal clips and he didn't know how to remove well. He said he would knock off $10. Not even near good enough! And it turns out the warranty is only 90 days. They are awful-don't know how to even open an Apple device, they don't know their warranty coverage, tried to quote me a higher than advertised price. I doubt this place will last 90 days. Terrible customer service. REVIEW UPDATE: the manager called me from the Short Pump location (Zack). Apologized for the blunders and offered to make things right- if he couldn't repair the damage he would get me a new/used ipod classic. He also would correct the receipt to indicate the new hard drive would be a lifetime warranty. I went by and he performed as promised- excellent service recovery. Service may not always go as planned, but how the provider owns it and makes it right counts for a lot- thank you Zack for representing your firm well! read more
