I called Professional Appliance Technicians to fix our Asko dishwasher that was not powering on. They were able to schedule me for the following week. They called the day before to remind me of the appointment and the technician called when he was on his way. He had seen this problem before with the Asko dishwashers and had the part (control panel) to fix it. The repair itself took about 20 minutes. We were charged for the part and the service, but the next day they found that our unit was still partially under warranty. They called us immediately and refunded the part cost. I appreciated their courtesy, promptness, expertise, and honesty. If we ever have issues with our appliances that they cover, we will use them again. read more

I should add that each time they have come they bring 1 person who is skilled for the job and one trainee who watches. I think the higher labor rate is to cover 2 people but it has only taken 1 to do the job so I would rather pay for 1 labor rate which would bring down the 196/hour charge and have only 1 tech come. Having someone to carry their step ladder and stand around holding the tools just doesn't make sense in an expensive labor market in my opinion. But other than that, the one main person who does the job has the expertise and the parts which one would expect but doesn't always happen...! read more

We recently purchased a home which came with a Wolf range top. The burners were not working properly and we had to contact Professional Appliance Technicians. They sent Dave to our place, and he quickly figured out what the problem was and replaced the parts which were still under warranty. Very professional and efficient. He also took a look at our Sub Zero refrigerator and cleaned the condenser for us. Problems with my refrigerator. Subzero sent Ron, one of their specialists, who is with Professional Appliance Technicians. He took one look and said, "Subzero will cover this" (even though my fridge is 9 years old and way past warranty). I would never have known that it was covered. He was honest and told me. He also did great work on a couple of other things that needed to be fixed on the fridge and educated me very diplomatically about how I can maintain the fridge myself (instead of ignoring periodic maintenance items). I have used Professional Appliance Technician's twice - once about 4-5 years ago, and then again this week (different issues). Both times they were able to diagnose what was wrong with my sub zero fridge within a minute, then fix the problem the same day. The first time I had issues, I tried a few other repair places, but none of them knew how to correctly fix a sub zero fridge. These guys specialize in sub zero and wolfe and I wouldn't use anyone else if you have high end appliances. They were extremely professional, accurate, quick, and didn't leave a mess. After a potential scam by two other appliance repair shops re our Sub Zero fridge (search my name for reviews - we were quoted $4500 for repair!), I called Professional Appliance Technicians (after consulting a search engine on the symptoms and finding out it was likely a slow leak fixable short term by a recharge). Technician Ross talked me through the likely problem and answered all my questions (which were numerous after the runaround from the two other shops who had looked at the fridge) honestly and gave me two separate quotes over the phone (one for recharge, one for replacement of evaporator and filter dryer). David came 2 days later, recharged the refrigerant, fridge temp went down to 37 in minutes, this took about 20 minutes, he charged me the quoted price. Pro Appliance Techs are authorized by Wolf/Sub Zero and they recharged the refrigerant for a very reasonable price after another appliance repair shop said they couldn't, then referred us to a different shop that straight-up lied (saying "environmental regs" prevented them from recharging) then quoted us $4500 for a fix. Lesson learned. Only go to Pro Appliance Techs from now on. read more

Service and price was excellent. The only complaint I had was that they are apparently so good we could not get somebody out for a freezer emergency. But they came out two weeks later to double check the job the guys who were available did because we thought the first crew were very questionable. I did not exactly have the best experience. I have a sub-zero installed 7 years ago and called them for routine maintenance. Dust etc is expected - in my opinion. A fan motor was jammed with dust and was not exactly moving as expected. The tech came and told me that I had a "weak motor" ? That was just because the motor was dusty and obviously jammed because of dust. He quoted $180 and quickly came down to $150. The motor needed to be cleaned and oiled and that was it. I submitted to the change of motor because I did not have the equipment or time to oil and re-fit that motor, but it was obviously a scam. The tech assumed I was a fool. they are now the only subzero authorized repair service in the area. The last service call I made was 10 years ago and it was not with them so I did not know what to expect. Scott was helpful and knowledgeable on the phone. He looked up my record right away and was ready to come out. Often times repair services are super concerned about payment/credit card numbers once they find out that I was not going to be there but these guys are more concerned about getting the appliance fixed and keeping me in the loop. It turned out that my tenants accidentally bumped the temp control in the freezer and they were able to "fix it" themselves before we made an appointment, so we did not need them after all but I will not hesitate to use them again. read more

We have subzero freezer drawers that both stopped functioning. My husband called Scott and got immediate service and diagnosis. Ian arrived punctually and was professional and confident with his diagnosis. They had to order parts that were not covered under warranty which was a bummer at first. However, on the second visit to fix the freezer, (it was clear that the Sub Zero actually needed another part as well!) ~which apparently was very rare but covered under the warranty!. Phew!! However, this needed over 2 hrs worth of service with another part. Ian cancelled a later appt (thank you to that customer) to complete our service today! Both Scott and Ian were efficient with their time and didn't stick us with a huge bill--in fact all under the warranty. There was a time when you couldn't pay me to call them, but I got desperate and called the technician who'd given me his card. The former boss insulted me by acting as if I was a little lady whom he could pat on the head and make me go away when I was angry at him for screwing up and endangering me in the process. Given that they're the only ones authorized to work on my Wolf stove, when it had problems again, I had no choice, but to call them as I can't afford a new stove. I'm glad I did. The old chauvinistic owner is gone and the people that are now running it are friendly, polite, and efficient. The lady who set up my appointment apologized because it was going to be more than a week out, which I appreciated, but wasn't necessary to me. Kyle, who came out to fix my stove was friendly and efficient. He was fairly certain he what the issue was when he walked in the door and was finished a short time later. He even showed me a part that is slightly damaged and gave me an approximate time frame for replacement. I will gladly call them again, the next time I need work done on my stove. read more

Referred by Albert Lee Appliance, I called Scott with a failing SubZero 700TC freezer. He walked me through all the possible options I could do on my own to see if I could get the compressor to come back online as it had overheated. He was fast, courteous and tried to save me as much money as possible but in the end he had to come out as it had failed completely. I called on Saturday with a leak from my Subzero freezer and they came Monday morning at 9:30. I was so surprised they could come so quickly. The technician called me before arrival to let me know the exact time that he would be here.They figured out the cause of my leak and were able to solve my problem in a short period of time. I have never had such quick service in the 40 years that I've owned homes. Professional Appliance Technicians was great to work with from beginning to end. It was easy to set up the appointment to repair my SubZero refrigerator. When I called in, someone had canceled and so they were able to schedule me the next business day. I mentioned what my problem was and the customer service rep checked to make sure that the available parts were in stock before scheduling the appointment. The technicians arrived within the allotted window of time and called me 15 minutes before they arrived. Both techs wore masks/gloves and socially distanced during the entire time they were at my house. They went immediately to work, fixed the problem (a broken fan unit), and cleaned out the entire condenser area so my SubZero is as good as new. Everyone was pleasant to deal with. I called around and around and around and got so many different answers about how to fix my very pricy sub zero fridge... the problem was I am selling the house the fridge is in and need it fix right and fast! We bought a Wolf range last year and there were a few minor things that needed to be adjusted on it, all of which are covered under warranty. We had called another location to take care of this and the people were rude and customer service was lacking, plus we would have to wait weeks for them to come out. The place we had purchased our Wolf from recommended them which I find surprising! We decided that we werent going to use them and called this place instead. Not only were they able to come out quicker than the other place, the people are super friendly. We just recently had to have them come out again to look at the igniters and I couldn't be happier with the service! Scott was super nice on the phone dealing with my husband and booking the appointment and Ross who serviced the stove gave me a lot of helpful tips on general use of the stove. Everyone we have encountered here is fantastic, if you need your Wolf or Subzero serviced they are the only place you should call! I live in Seattle and they service our area even though they are located in Redmond.
