Great vibe and this restaurant. Staff was friendly and very knowledgeable about the menu, they helped us pick our dinner choices. The spicy vodka rigatoni pasta was to die for. It was al dente and the sauce was perfection, just the right spice. The butter cake was also delicious. All our food was wonderful. Only downfall: the side of vegetables was very small and needed to be cooked just a tad bit longer.

If it was illegal the" Prohibition burger" would be serious charges!.

If it was illegal the" Prohibition burger" would be serious charges! It's juicy and delicious, melts in your mouth and the fries are just perfect. Shout out to server Brendan for great service at the outside patio- chill atmosphere. #brendan

I came in here with my daughter and mom for dinner on a Wednesday evening. It's a bar/lounge that has repurposed itself as a restaurant as well. The waitress introduced herself within 5 minutes of being seated but then we just sat and sat ... We waited for nearly 20 minutes then finally the busser came over with some waters. Then we continued to wait another 15 minutes before the waitress came over to take our orders. The food was good but nothing special, the prices are on the higher side for bar food. The pulled pork sliders were on the dry side. The cocktail was good. Overall, it's expensive for bar food, cool atmosphere, drinks are good, waitress was nice but slower than molasses.

This is the end results of the butter cake

Had a wonderful time, loved all the food and drinks. I would recommend the butter cake for dessert! Also ask for Brendan, he was an amazing server and knew how to sell the entire menu

What a lively brunch spot to check out! If you're not enjoying the yummy food they have to offer, you're dancing to the DJ beats they got blasting hahaha. I truly wonder what this place looks like at nighttime. I went with a party of 4 and ordered the pulled pork eggs benedict. It was flavorful and definitely something that I would order again if I went back. It was a nice option for the benedict as I haven't seen this offered at other brunch spots. Staff are friendly, however, could have been more attentive. It was difficult to get a hold of our waitress at times. What's really neat is they have staff coming around with a professional camera taking photos. They then develop them and place it into a cute frame for you to keep! I can't remember off the top of my head but I believe the range was $10-20 for the framed picture.

I loved it! Brendan, our server was great. He was knowledgable & helpful. The Espresso martini was so fabulous, I had 2. We ordered a variety of small plates each more impressive than the last. The brussells sprouts were sweet and salty. The tuna tartar was beautiful and delicious. The shrimp tacos were some of the best my husband has ever had. My mother enjoyed the sliders very much too. I will be returning.

It was very busy last night however they sat us outside and put some heaters by us. They were very nice to us. It's a fun atmosphere and the prawns were delicious. Been here a few times and I'll go back. Highly recommend.

Stopped by Probation on a Wednesday afternoon for happy hour and had a good experience. We grabbed seats at the bar and ordered the roasted Brussels sprouts and fried prawns from their happy hour menu -- both were great! The prawns were a touch on the sweet side, but still really tasty. I also had the Probation margarita, which hit the spot. Overall, a very pleasant visit with great flavors and solid drink options. Strongly recommend checking out their happy hour!

Brunch is awesome but Kaitlin the bartender is the absolute best!! Customer service is amazing and she makes the best espresso martini I've ever had. Will 100%. come back just for her.

We were trying to figure out what we wanted to eat and so headed downtown Riverside and as we were walking around, we came up on prohibition. It was lively, so we thought let's come in and get something to eat. Service was great up into a certain point, and after that things went downhill, I ordered the chicken and waffles. My daughter ordered the chiliquiles. The chicken and waffles arrived to the table cold and when I asked for warm syrup so that I could, it could melt the butter. It took 10 minutes and me asking twice before I got it by then I was over it because the food was even colder by that time. The vibe in the atmosphere is great just the service and the food we're not up to par I did order a drink, which was a Mojito, but it was made so poorly. I had to send it back. I feel like if you can't make a cocktail then you shouldn't have it on the menu or say that you can't make It.

Proabition is a great spot to get dinner and cocktails, whether it's a date night at the bar or large parties. This place is extremely accommodating and has great ambience, including Djs during late night weekend dining. This is a great spot to grab dinner! All the pasta dishes are amazing, although i particularly enjoy the spicy vodka. The sweet chili wings are really tasty too, and don't forget to order the brussel sprouts (my fav) :)

The ambiance is well created with the dim lights, lit bar, and sounds of ice being shaken. My fiancé and I were seated right at the middle of the bar upon opening, and our bartender named Chris (?) was extremely welcoming with a sense of humor. He gave us an ample of amount of time to review the menus. We first got an IPA and the Love me Knot. For food, we ordered some Cajun fries and the party wings with red chimichurri sauce. The wings were fantastic! The fries were very crunchy, and I wish they were a tad bit softer. For our next round of drinks, we got the Old Fashioned and the Bee's Knees. The drinks were right on par. We left after a few hours and found ourselves quite satisfied. It was a fun experience and the monthly change of words above the liquor wall is always a conversation starter. The Blind Rabbit is in building B (I think... 2 story building right off the main road). A reservation is highly recommended, as this spot can only hold about 30 people. As I went alone, my reservation was for a bar seat, which was cool as I was able to watch the bartenders make lots of very cool shaken and stirred drinks. This place serves absinthe drinks plus absinthe served the traditional way (cold water on sugar cube into the alcohol). I did not try that, but was tempted. My pineapple old fashioned (Retired Old Man was what Sergio (bartender) told me) was very tasty. The Tamerand Marg with mezcal that I tried next was just okay (should have stuck with the whiskey!). The ambience is great, but it is quite dark inside. Use the light under the bar top to read the menu. There is food available. I tried the crabcake and thoroughly enjoyed it! If you go looking for the entrance, look for the "boxes" stacked against the wall and the black bunny handle (next to a hostess station that may/may not be staffed). Photos were highly discouraged, so I respected their wishes and just enjoyed the moment. I hope you enjoy it too!

We were a little worried as we only saw one server handling the entire dining room and it did take a little while to place our order, but she did a nice job and handled the room well. Also we were not in a hurry so appreciated the time to relax. FOOD: New menu is good. I like the new variety of options. I tried their BLT and the wife and daughter had the grilled cheese and tomato soup. My BLT was BOMB. The grilled cheese has been upgraded with a thicker better bread, but the cheese seems to still be an American cheese (which is great if that's how you like it) my wife prefers cheddar. After walking around the side of the restaurant, I could clearly see a bartender pouring a beer for another employee inside. When I knocked on the door, the staff initially ignored me and refused to acknowledge me until I pointed to my watch to indicate it was not yet 10 PM. Eventually, a young woman came to the door and told me they had decided to close early because business had been slow that week, and they refused to serve me despite still being open according to their posted hours. As I was leaving and getting into my vehicle, the same employee who had been served alcohol and the woman who denied me service were both outside on the balcony drinking alcoholic beverages themselves. What makes this even more disappointing is that this is not the first time this has happened to me. I have shown up there before well before closing time and experienced similar issues with early closure and refusal of service. I understand this is a privately owned bar and restaurant, but closing almost an hour early while customers are still arriving is bad business and misleads patrons into believing they will be served during posted business hours. Very disappointing experience overall.
