I couldn't speak more highly of Move'n not Shake'n. I've hired movers three times. The first time…read morewas a team led by Satch. They got off to a bit of a late start, so they brought in some extra backup and moved contents the equivalent of a 2-bedroom townhouse out of a penthouse apartment (a lot of it mirrored glass) into a 2-floor home without breaking anything. Communication was fantastic. I got spoiled. I assumed all movers were the same. I tried someone else. That company damaged some sentimental furniture, scratched several walls, put boxes in the wrong room, stained our carpet. Horrible. So of course, when I was moving again, we hire Satch and Move'n not Shake'n. In a word, stellar. The quality of service the first time wasn't an anomoly. They moved our furniture. No damage, no scratches to any walls, conscientious about our new carpets, perfect. I echo the other reviewers. If anyone is ever looking for a mover I will always recommend Satch and Move'n not Shake'n. The quality of service is unrivaled. Communication is great. Respect and care for our personal property. Top notch!

They were able to move everything we needed, including some very heavy items (ie. a piano) down a flight of stairs to the moving truck with no problem. They were clean, courteous, efficient, and prompt. They took care of our items and wrapped each piece of furniture securely. Satch is the most efficient truck packer (Tetris Master!) I've ever seen! They were also very flexible with our schedule when our plans were thrown off by the missed delivery of our "moving pods." We ended up changing plans and needing to get moving trucks instead. Satch was a great communicator and kindly rearranged his schedule to accommodate our changing needs. I can't say enough how helpful that was. I recommend this company to anyone within their service area. They're awesome!

We eventually find a better spot to park the truck and they use a different elevator in the building to finish the move just at 6hrs. These folks were professional the whole time, even when it felt hopeless lol. They wore masks, and wrapped furniture in blankets, and boxed up the little stuff like the pros they are. I hired On the Go to load a trailer in preparation for an out-of-state move. The moving team…read moreovercharged me (I had to get home office to do a correction), but that was only the surface. When I arrived in my new location, I had a different mover ready to unload the truck. What they found was astounding: The movers had paid no mind to how they stacked our boxes, crushing multiple bins and seeing boxes cave-in on themselves. These photos came from the other movers as they thought their counterparts did it, and were (in their words) "embarrassed." On top of this absolute disregard for boxes, 11 pieces of furniture suffered damage. Their label was "cosmetic damage," because nothing broke ... it's just visually damaged (deep gashes in wood, leather scraped off real-leather chairs). The care extended to a couch where they removed the peg legs and through them loose into the trailer (we had to find them over the course of the move). I documented everything, shared photos, etc. Their offer: $100 check due to cosmetic damage. And after a fairly pointed email about the negligence of how they packed the trailer, they just stopped responding. Now, here's the onus on me: I only did base protection. I trusted their reputation and after seven cross-country moves, felt confident we'd be okay. Shame on me, and that'll never be a mistake I make again. I don't expect anything to come of this for me. And that's fine. But hopefully at least one other person will be saved the frustration and expense.
