The people weren't nice. They didn't bring covers for their shoes and when I asked about it, they were rude. He said we don't have it, give us if you have it.. They didn't want to remove shoes, that's understandable but being rude isn't justified. They caused some small discoloration of walls and when I mentioned it, the guy was rude again, he said we cannot fly to 2nd floor, just wash it with towel and warm water. It was a mere half and hour job and I paid them whatever they demanded .. kinda very high amount for half an hour job. The job was fine but I'd never hire them again. You can't be rude and disrespectful to customer who's paying you. read more

We hired Piano Moving Art to move our upright piano. It was on the back porch and I gave them three options (paths) for them to get it to the front. They picked the option of moving it through the house. We live in a split level so they had about 6 stairs to navigate to the front porch and then three more stairs to the front yard. It was so interesting watching them problem solve the move. Once they knew what they were going to do they completed the task with ease. The were extremely professional and careful with the surroundings (house, yard, etc.) I took a few videos because I thought the person getting the piano would want to see the move happening. TL|DR: These folks ghosted us twice and put us in a serious bind. We are in the process of moving and have a piano that a friend of ours is taking. She scheduled Piano Moving Art & Piano Storage to do the move and they gave her an hour timeframe last Wednesday and said they'd text her when they were on their way. We changed our schedule in order to get our dog out of the apartment to make it easier for them, but did not hear from them before, during, or after the timeframe until the end of the day, when they told our friend that their van was not working and they would need to reschedule. They rescheduled us for Friday and gave us another hour timeframe. On Friday, they texted our friend at the start of our timeframe to let us know that we were 'still on the schedule today.' Again, the timeframe came and went with no communication and no show, no explanations given. This was the Friday before a holiday weekend, and we now have 4 days before we move to try to get someone in here to get the piano. I understand from having run a business that things happen, but communication is IMPERATIVE, and these folks gave none. Avoid at all costs. read more

Most importantly, they were extremely careful with our grand piano and moved it up a steep driveway and up a few steps. Helped me move the piano in a few different configurations as I decided the best way to orient the piano in the room. I called Piano Moving Art and Piano Storage when the current piano mover I had hired changed the time of the move 4 times! After the 4th time, I called Piano Moving Art to see if they could step in and help on short notice. The worked me into their schedule and said they would be out in about 45 minutes! I was absolutely thrilled that they fit me in on the same day. Not only that, they came down in price to meet the quote I had from the company I was originally going to work with. Although there was some confusion about the location and they were a little late, we were so incredibly appreciative they made it on such short notice. The piano was a massive upright solid wood piano from the early 1900's - so certainly a challenging job. The loaded it quickly and carefully brought it into my home and worked to get the pads under the casters. We bought a house and the previous owners left an upright piano in the basement that wasn't in super great condition. I didn't want to go through the process of refinishing it, so I asked for help in moving the piano to the dump. Nick and his team were able to come out that afternoon and graciously offered to take not only the piano, but the ancient washer and dryer as well. Artie called me the next day and scheduled to come out SAME DAY to move the upright Yamaha U1. He and his guys even arrived early. Within an hour they had moved our piano safely from the downstairs living room the the upstairs bonus room. This was no easy feet! It involved a switchback staircase that required the piano to be tipped completely on its side. The took their time moving it up step by step and safely landed her in the bonus room in under an hour. I don't write many reviews, but these guys were fantastic! We had a large, heavy upright piano we had to get out of our house quickly, as the buyers didn't want it at the last minute. It was a very tricky to get out of our basement, but after some thought, they figured out a way to make it happen (including turning it upside-down to make it fit), I highly doubt another company would have taken the time and thought to make it work. This was a really bumpy experience, though I appreciate that in the end my piano was delivered safe and sound. I had scheduled my piano pick up for 12-1 on Friday, but they called to let me know they'd be there at 10:30. Earlier than I had planned, but I was able to adjust. Then they said they'd be dropping it off around 5-6 that evening, which I was a little surprised by because I thought they'd drop it off at the new address immediately. I texted when I hadn't heard from them at 5:30, then they said it'd be 7-8. Then they texted to say that since it was dark, they wanted to wait until the next morning. This was super inconvenient for me as I was waiting at the new address for them to show up, and I certainly wasn't expecting to have my piano taken overnight. They did get it to me the next morning, and I appreciate that they maneuvered their truck up my steep driveway and got everything reassembled quickly. Be really clear about timelines and expectations when you're scheduling a delivery. Also I wish both people had worn masks the entire time instead of just sometimes. read more
