Satch and his crew did an excellent job with our large move. (3500 sq ft home). I am very happy we went with this business. They were able to move everything we needed, including some very heavy items (ie. a piano) down a flight of stairs to the moving truck with no problem. They were clean, courteous, efficient, and prompt. They took care of our items and wrapped each piece of furniture securely. Satch is the most efficient truck packer (Tetris Master!) I've ever seen! They were also very flexible with our schedule when our plans were thrown off by the missed delivery of our "moving pods." We ended up changing plans and needing to get moving trucks instead. Satch was a great communicator and kindly rearranged his schedule to accommodate our changing needs. I can't say enough how helpful that was. Best mover I have used yet in Seattle in the 7 years that I have lived here and moved 5x during that time. They provided a quote via yelp, remembered that I submitted a quote when I called them directly, helped me learn how to go see the quote within yelp, answered all my questions and reassured me of all the concerns I had due to past nightmare moves (mover not showing up on moving day w barely no notice in the day of the move, mover who comes and then leaves bec their truck would block the road without telling me ahead that I needed to get city permit to block the parking in front of apt for their truck, mover who began changing the agreed terms upon arrival and then extorting me for thr full payment in cash during the middle of the move with half of my stuff still in the truck and threatening to take my stuff somewhere and throw them away). Satch listened patiently of the past issues and concerns and asked how he can assure me. He came in person to see what needed to get moved and the photo of all the stuff in storage. When I insisted that I needed a 26' truck since that is what I had in the most recent move, he reassured me that his 20' truck would sufficiently fit everything based on his experience and even offered that he will make the additional necessary trips to move everything free if everything didn't fits into the truck during 1 trip. On the day, when he had issue w his truck, he rented a 16' truck and let me know ahead that he will make this move happen using this truck and make the additional trip for free if needed since this is what we agreed. He also said it is fine to allow my friends to help move (just not get into the moving truck). He wrote up all the terms that we discussed including allowing friends to help and no additional cost for additional trip. On the day, he arrived on time and nicely offered suggestions on how my friends can help more efficiently, which I took his suggestions. We got the move done within the lower estimated time he quoted me with my friends helping. I love that they used venmo and I didn't have to carry around cash. The move went smoothly and my friends all commented about how nice, patient, and amazing he was during their interactions working on the move w him and his staff. We were also amazed how tightly he packed in the truck. Wow!!! We still had room left! So impressed and I am definitely going to use them again in the future! They made a stressful day less stressful and a success. Oh, we had a 2nd stop at storage before going to destination and that was all in the estimate and that went well too! They definitely was much more expensive than prices on Craigslist and most of the other quotes I received from using the yelp moving quotes feature. However at the end, it was worth it since duration to get the move done was so important for me without drama. They got off to a bit of a late start, so they brought in some extra backup and moved contents the equivalent of a 2-bedroom townhouse out of a penthouse apartment (a lot of it mirrored glass) into a 2-floor home without breaking anything. These guys are the absolute best. Absolute. Best. I'll recommend them to anyone who needs a move. I did a local move from Lynnwood to Edmonds and requested a quote to have the crew lift the heavy stuff - bedroom set, living room, dining room. They provided me with a quote (requested through Yelp) within an hour and, due to the fact that my move was only furniture, was able to come in the early evening. They shrink wrapped all my furniture with both pads and plastic wrap for protection, loaded it safely, and even beat me to the destination for unloading. They also showed great care for both properties' interiors. Their rates were fantastic and the crew got the job done quickly and efficiently. Their also very adaptable. My couch wouldn't fit in a stairwell, so the next day the crew returned and was able to lift the couch from the ground floor to the balcony of our third floor condo for a modest additional fee, which was more than reasonable considering the amount of work it took. Lastly, they can be paid via PayPal or Venmo, which is so refreshing to see. I wish other businesses would join the 21st century as Move'n not Shake'n has. Absolutely fantastic. 11/10. read more

Incredible doesn't start to describe this team. First off, nice beyond belief. They could be holding a 600 pound couch and apologize for being in your way. Second speed. We had a 2 bed room apartment 110 boxes plus so much stuff. When we moved in it took us almost 14 hour with another crew. Moven not shaken did it in close to 7 flat (7 with drive!!) fast as hell. Impressed. But this is the kicker. I had a washer and dryer being delivered that day it showed up after our movers were done. He offered to stay, move it and install it . Free of charge.
