Today would of been my second time at this location, and I have to say that I'm very disappointed. When I walked in no one greeted me or even said hello even though several of the techs were not busy and on their mobile. I said excuse me I have a 5pm appointment, then I heard pick a color. I get assigned this woman, I put my feet in the cold water and notice she goes in her care and grabs an open unsterile pouch about to touch me with the nail clipper. I said excuse me, that has been used, she said oh and says to me I will go sterilize. I immediately began ti take my feet out of the water, put my shoes on and say thank you, this appointment is cancelled and walked out. I could not believe what just happened along with the possibly of getting an infection or foot fungus. PRO nail please do better! I will not be back read more

In the middle of my second fill with Owner Tom, I fired him on the spot! At the onset of the appointment, I informed Tom that a few nails on my right hand were crooked and asked him to fix them. I also requested a tapered square. By the the time he completed the fill, I noticed he had not addressed either request and confronted him. Before I could finish he spoke over me very loudly so everyone heard him, saying "you must respect me, i have been doing this for 20 years, you must respect me!" My reply of course was that he had to earn my respect by doing what i hired him to do, and do it my way (i've been getting my nails done for 30 years), not his. He made a big scene with his big ego. I did not get the service requested nor the quality I had to pay for. New management is horrible! Never again! read more

They are so friendly and professional. Some salons are clearly just trying to get customers in and out to make money, and they are NOT like that at all. Had my nails done by the man who may be the new manager of the place? Cant remember his name! His wife did my toes. I felt very well taken care of and they did not rush. I was a walk in so it was nice to see. my friend and I both went to get our nails done here. pros: clean salon. autoclaved, and individually wrapped tools. friendly staff. cons: uneven filing, lumpy gel manicure, inability to do a simple design, took 1.5-2 hours for simple gel manicure my friend got a simple gel manicure. The manicurist aggressively repositioned her hand 5-10 times throughout the appointment. her gel manicure was lumpy and uneven on at least 3 nails. the shaping of the nails was not consistent or even. It took almost 2 hours for this simple gel manicure. I got a gel manicure and asked for a simple squiggle design. the nail tech assured me in the beginning it was easy and he could do it. then when it came time to do it said it would be $25 extra and it was too hard and he couldn't do it. the manicure is thin and will not last more than a week and a half. My nail shape and smoothness were great and only took an hour. read more

I was looking for a salon to get a relaxing pedicure and my nails done. I've been to few local salons but in recent reviews they seemed to have fell off a bit. So I came across Pro Nails and I wasn't really sure what I wanted, but they assisted me with getting a full acrylic set and wow, when I tell you I found a treasure spot!!! I was really nervous trying a new place, but they made me feel comfortable and they helped me pick out the right shade of green for a party dress I showed Jenny. They were so friendly and welcoming, are a small team of 5 which I love because you can get one on one with your technician, where they get to know your nails with what you like and don't like. Omg, the suger scrub I washed my hands with was amazing... hands feel like a baby's butt. I had an awesome experience at Pro Nails, Atlantic. Tom was courteous and designed nails beautifully.

I tried this place out because I had a coupon from the weekly mailer. There's a reason why they send coupons. They probably need customers with the quality of work they do. My pedicure was enjoyable. Nice massage and cleaning of my feet. Paint was ok but shape and length of my toenails are inconsistent. Then my gel manicure. Wow. The color I chose wasn't light. But there should have been another coat added. When it cured, it was spotty and my nail shows through. Also wasn't painted all the way to the cuticle or sides. Not my preference. And clear coat was all over my fingers J had to buffer off. In short, don't go here. Maybe they're better with acrylics etc and when I was there 5 ladies got their brows done so maybe people come for that. read more

I have been to this nail spa twice. Tonight I didn't have a good outcome. The last time I was there the guy in the mask did my nails and toes. He did a fantastic job. Tonight the owner did my nails and toes. It wasn't good. He didn't use enough polish and he only put lotion on the bottom of my feet. I was sliding everywhere. He did put any on the top. Then when he did my gel polish on my hands it was not thick. Then on top of that he changed me too much. The man/ ped was 38 and then the gel was 15 extra. I have never paid 58 for a man/ped and gel on hands only. read more

They speak fairly good English and engage in conversation station with you rather than with themselves. No drinks were offered but the place is clean and so are the utensils. Nice polish selection and they accept appointments and walk ins. They did a fill in and pedicure in about 40 minutes. I was pleased and will return. read more

This my nail salon. Not really I'm saying when people ask who did your nails ?(and people always ask) I say Pro nails on Atlantic & Millbrook. Luke is the best there is. I have tried others and no one comes close to the quality. No they don't have wine for you to drink or handing out bottles of water. I'm sure if you asked for something to drink they would try to oblige you. I have been to other salon in Raleigh that would give you a glass of wine and your nail is broke before you can drive away. Ugh. Never going back . Asked for water took 15 minutes and a second request to be given a Tiny Cup from their faucet. The pedicure was meh, the manicurist wanted to talk politics- the last thing I wanted! She also wanted be to solve her friend stuck in Mexico problem. I love this salon. I get nails, feet, brows, and chin was done and my face feels good, as well as my feet. VAN has been my stylist since 2014 and I love her. She takes her time to give me a good, satisfactory job and i do not have to wait, especially with an appointment. Sometimes when I forget to call her for my brows, she works me in. I took my mother here (who was visiting from out of town). She wanted a manicure and I needed a pedicure. All of the tools are used, the polish selection isn't great. My mother's technician didn't speak at all and she wasn't thrilled with the outcome. My tech was too talkative (way too up in my business) and the pedicure wasn't great either. This was all yesterday and I've started to notice my toes itching, red and inflamed.while it's cheap and fast, I will not be coing back here unless they improve the quality of the tools they use. read more
