Great price, grab you some wine and kick back! Staff are great also. Quick and efficient.

The first time I came here, I loved it. My roommate and I had the best time with the staff and our nails looked fantastic. However, we went back and it was like a switch had been flipped. Music was so loud my friend and I couldn't even talk. I asked for a French tip with one white nail with a ladybug as pictured. I wish I caught the First Lady's name who did my nails, she was fantastic. My roommate had Kevin doing her nails. She wanted short almond shape (like I have). Kevin argues that you have to get long nails in order to do almond shape. She said that she had to get short nails because of work. He said he can't do short almond and my roommate agreed to short square. He began doing round nails. She asked him to stop and then he tried to act like she was the one being confusing. He proceeded to give her extremely thick square acrylics. Then came time for my ladybug. My nail tech warned me that she doesn't do designs, but she would try which I appreciated. She was not happy with her product so she said she was going to get Kevin to come and do my design. Kevin came over, already seeming annoyed. He spew through my ladybug half doing everything. As you can see some of the legs aren't even connected. There is no line down the body. And it's much smaller and off center. I know I could have said something. But at this point we just wanted to leave. It felt very unprofessional. A different tech got up on the nail bar dancing for someone's bday, pouring boxed wine into her mouth, and stuffing small oranges in her shirt. No joke. Very odd experience. On top of everything, there was an extra $10 on each of our bills. Online their prices say a full set is $55, French tip is $10, design $5 and up each nail. In my opinion. These "ladybugs" are $5 designs. So my bill should have been $75 but it was $85 in the end. I will not be returning. read more

this place is absolutely ridiculous. i asked for a builder gel manicure with a bubble bath/funny bunny combo, 2 coats of each. once they finished my hands & i was sitting getting my toes done i realized my nails were soooo chunky. i've never had my nails look like this before. i asked the guy doing my feet if i can get them redone & the issue i had with them. he sat there trying to convince me that it was because of my nails & because i asked for too many coats of nail polish. then told me i would have to pay extra which is absolutely ridiculous because im already paying for a service that i was unhappy about. i kept showing him examples of people with shorter nails than i had and the same combo & he still was fighting my request and telling me that if they redo it then it would come out the same. i already have issues speaking up for myself & this was becoming so frustrating & disappointing. it wasn't until i started crying that they all of a sudden wanted to rectify the situation. this is so unprofessional & unnecessary. if you're providing a service & the customer paying for the service tells you their unhappy with what you provided, it's up to you to fix it. what ever happened to the customers always right? read more

Not the place to go if you're looking for a spa-like zen! It is so unbelievably loud you can barely hear yourself think and forget about trying to make a phone call or answer a call. I asked them to turn the music down twice and it went down slightly, but it was overwhelmingly loud and felt like I was at a club instead of a Nail Salon. Customer service was fairly good and the actual pedicure itself was just OK. The biggest infraction was just how LOUD it was in there. read more

I got a full set with gel polish about 2 weeks ago. The first week the middle finger lifted and I had to put glue on it. That's ridiculous for the first week. It's now the 2nd week and I'm missing 2 nails and on the left hand 3 nails are lifted and one missing. On the right hand I have 3 nails lifted and one missing. I'm a librarian so I'm not doing anything hard on my hands. I've been getting my nails done for over 20 years and I have never had this happen. The shape could've been better too. They do offer wine but I think that's so you don't notice the terrible job. The chairs are also uncomfortable. It's a barstool and I don't know how anyone can sit in that room get their nails done. read more

I would not recommend Polished Nail Bar. When you first walk in they play unbearably loud music which makes the atmosphere overwhelming. When greeted I was sat in a chair for my pedicure and was ignored "soaking" for nearly 40 minutes before I had to announce that I had been ignored and dissatisfied, leaving without any service complete. I hope they improve for future customers. read more

Great people, great product !!! I feel like getting my nails done always feels like a chore, but here it is a party!

Fantastic nail experience after moving to downtown Raleigh this year! Jade did a fantastic job with my SNS dip nails. Henry provided me with an excellent pedicure. Lisa was the nail tech for my husband and he exclaimed that it was the BEST pedicure he has ever enjoyed. read more

The music is very loud. Theres a masked bouncer/door attendant/bartender. Lots of dude's drinking. A few of them are eating Mexican while getting pedicures. The place is dirty, the chairs are wore and ripped. Boxes everywhere. definitely not relaxing. Pedicure was mediocre at best. read more

I love Polished! They are always so nice and make a relaxing and fun environment. Great sound system too.

This place is disgusting and filthy. It smells like sulphur. They ignore you and neglect you if you're just getting a polish change or regular polish. They don't have a good selection of polishes. I asked to see their OPI gels and they hand me a cardboard box of polish covered in dirt and filth and dust. I don't understand how or why it's still open honestly. There are so many superior nail salons. read more

I came in a little over an hour before closing. I originally just wanted a pedicure but the tech upsold me on a manicure and a pedicure. I asked her if she had enough time so that it wouldn't be a rush job and she assured me it wouldn't be. It was in fact a rushed job and not worth the $80 total. I don't recommend this salon and I won't be back. read more

Great gel manicure experience at the Downtown Raleigh location on December 4th and wish I could recall the name of my nail tech. She skillfully attended to cuticles, nail shape, and polish. It was one of the best manicures I've ever received. The salon was beautiful but unpretentious. I will return whenever I'm in Raleigh and will be certain to try other locations. read more

Polished Nail Bar - Nail Salons Near Me - Raleigh, North Carolina

I'm going to preface this by saying none of this is an over exaggeration, it's as factual as I can recall. First impression: the place is absolutely gorgeous. When me and my friend sat down for our pedicures, we were offered wine. I am a sober person so I asked if they had a soda or water, but they only had water. They brought my friend a generously full glass of wine and handed me a rocks glass with literally 6 ice cubes and two inches of water...? I asked for a gel pedicure and picked a gel color. While I was getting the pedicure the woman attending to me rushed through the entire process so quickly. My feet were in water for less than 5min, she spent all of 10 seconds on each foot scrubbing the rough parts (which honestly made them rougher and snag when I got in bed), and gave me the quickest and weakest "massage" that was the equivalent of rubbing in lotion on my feet and legs. As I was distracted speaking with my friend, I checked back on my toes as she was polishing them and noticed she was applying the clear coat over regular polish instead of the gel I had requested. I accepted my fate. Once done with the pedicure, I was moved to the bar for a gel-X full set which was going to be done by the same woman. I do my own gel-X at home so I am familiar with the process, but it takes me hours so I wanted a professional to do them for me as a special occasion instead. As she fitted me for the gel-X nails I noticed that she wasn't comfortable with the process because she wasn't pushing them down to measure the proper fit. She started making cuts out of the bottom of them so they would "fit" and when I saw how huge the size of the thumb nail was that she picked out for me, I politely declined getting my nails done. I was anxious about the potential disaster to come and was simply no longer confident with her skills and just wanted to be done. That was the first time I have ever stopped a nail tech from doing a service because I felt uncomfortable and it took a lot of courage. I sat with my friend and talked to her while she finished getting a beautiful new manicure, then I paid for my pedicure and tipped well. read more

Went in for a soak off and was told that they didn't have the people for that. All you do is file the gel and soak it in acetone? Out if all the workers sitting and doing nothing, they aren't qualified for a simple task that is part of nails101? Where'd you get your license from? The music in the salon was also being played disgustingly loud, I couldn't even hear the lady tell me that she can't soak off nails.. read more

Polished Nail Bar - my nails! - Nail Salons Near Me - Raleigh, North Carolina

I made an appointment for 12 on a Sunday when they opened and got right in. Everyone was very friendly, but I had to pick 4 colors before they actually had one that was in stock. The pedicure was just OK. I'm always looking for somewhere that I like better than Nail Kitchen, but Polished had less colors and wasn't really as clean. It wasn't dirty, just a little outdated I would say. Probably will not go again and it is a little pricey compared to its competitors. read more

Here to get my nails done today, and I just wanted to say that I am surprised at the last negative review! I always come here for the people who work at Polished. Sure there are fancier places and many to choose from, but every single times over the years I have visited, anyone who walks in the door is acknowledged immediately with enthusiasm (often by the owner herself Coco, who is the most friendly and inviting person, or by her husband Donny who is also wonderful). The place is clean, plays fun music, and one of the owners is almost always there with a smile, everyday. If you want an upbeat and enjoyable experience pampering yourself, come see for yourself. No photo yet but I will add after my appointment. read more

I set up a 1pm manicure appointment for a Wednesday 2 weeks in advance. When I arrived, I was instantly confused. There are signs on the door saying please wait until someone assists you and also a sign about masks. However, neither one seemed to be true. Someone doing a pedicure waved at me to come in and the place was a bit crowded. Definitely no social distancing or much mask wearing going on. I told the person at the front about my 1pm appt and he told me to go wash my hands in the back so I did. And then I waited for him to point me in the right direction but that never happened. Eventually someone else asked me what I was doing and once I told them, they sent me back up front where I once again re-iterated I was there for a 1pm appt. He found a seat for me and told me the guy doing my nails would be there shortly. Guy comes over with the mask around his chin. Apparently, me and 2 other ladies were getting their nails done. He asked what we were getting and then stated he was going to do their full sets first. I probably could have told him that I had a 1pm appt. However, I was already so disappointed in my experience so far, I just went ahead and left. I definitely won't be returning here. read more

As a local who has grown up in the Raleigh area my whole life, Polished is the best nail bar in the area. I look forward to coming here every two weeks whether it be for a full set or a pedicure. I personally get my nails done by Coco and she is the best tec & most kind hearted person I've ever met. She never lets me leave upset, unsatisfied, or even hungry. Everyone here enjoys what they do. They are here to make you happy and have fun while they do it. They also offer free wine while servicing you (which is always a plus) & play such fun music. Unfortunately, I got a gel manicure here and all but 2 nails have fallen off within 48 hours. Polished Nail Bar - Loving this fall inspired gem! - Nail Salons Near Me - Raleigh, North Carolina

Oh, we fancy huh? When I tell you I love a million-dollar experience for an affordable price! We can't all be Bey&Jay. Polished is a gem of a spa experience right in the middle of Glenwood. The theme is glamorous; all white and sparkles. A beautiful and clean venue. The staff was very pleasant and my friend and I were greeted from the moment we opened the door. We came on a Saturday and there was thankfully no wait. Color options are displayed on a "floating" table suspended from the ceiling, which is my only complaint as the table swaying while I searched for colors made me dizzy. We were seated together at two of the numerous pedicure chairs and immediately offered a complimentary drink. Options include red and white wines, champagne, mimosas, or beer; all with free refils! We both got the All-Out Pedicure package, because for the competitive price of $35, why not go "All-Out"?! I was very pleased with the service, my pedicure, pricing, and overall experience. I can't wait to return! Quick tip: Be sure to bring cash for tips. They accept credit card payments, but tips are only accepted in cash/check. There is an ATM inside; no idea what the fee is. read more

It has a super fun atmosphere! Would recommend to anyone in the area. the technicians are also very friendly and chatty.

I absolutely loved Polished! Service was fast and friendly, I wasn't pushed to get additional services or a more expensive manicure. Additionally the space is well set up to handle multiple clients. I was also really impressed that all the metal tools used for my manicure came from a sealed bag, ideally meaning they had been sanitized. I was also given a nice plush pillow to rest my arms on. The all white interior is also extremely fun! read more

I get my nails done here every 2 weeks, and toes every 4. I'm obsessively into whites and nudes so they know the typical color palette I choose from. I've been coming here for 1.5 years now! But tonight I came in and was so impressed by the color they chose for me that I decided to finally leave a review. This is JAS 007 "Cotton Candy" color powder and it is PERFECT. Super stoked about it. Love this place and all the employees. I don't have a fav nail tech to recommend because I usually do a walk-in, but anyone you get is great. read more
