Guys did good work good crew just didn't like that they discouraged me not to use credit saying it's more expensive by 10 per hour and "should strongly pay with cash," sure you can give people choices that's fine but if I mentioned I'm okay paying with credit let's let it be. Also they forgot items at my place so now I have to go back to hire additional help at added cost to get these large items moved. After missing items they mentioned at the end of the move that they "normally we get 200 dollar tips "EACH," there was emphasis on that "each," part. That's great and all but a tip is for a good job you don't seed the close of a sale by telling the client what you expect then they're going to feel less inclined to even provide one. read more

Hi, I just had the best experience with Anthony, Payden, and Saul. Despite it being a rainy day at start they arrived on time and were ready to role. Amazed at how fast they work. Communication was amazing they called 1hr before starting to touch base so that they were prepared and equipped. They took care of our belongings and wrapped everything that needed to be wrapped. Disassembled furniture and reassembled the furniture at the new place. Loved that they asked where things went and were able to help place the furniture. This was our first time using a moving company so I naturally had a lot of questions. So, we moved on a Sunday morning and our movers Joe and Jesse were on time And ready to get to work right away. They were methodical and intentional with every aspect of the move. We had a few unexpected sizing issues with our furniture fitting into our new place, they both took the time to try moving the items even if they ultimately didn't fit. They came into my apt and accessed what was moving and got right to it. Unfortunately I cannot recommend this business as they are unreliable. I called on Monday to request movers for Wednesday, and the gentleman I spoke to advised they would be available on Wednesday morning. About an hour later I received a follow up call from the dispatcher, who let me know they would not be available until the afternoon, and because my time frame was tight I agreed. Around 4 PM I began attempting to call the office. I called approximately 6 times between 4 and 5 PM and no one answered the phone. Finally, around 4:50, someone answered but did not appear to have any idea what was going on. Joe called me around 5 and let me know they would be another hour at least. I received no communication prior to this and Joes attitude was essentially "tough luck". I requested a call from a dispatch manager or office manager and as of now have not received one, and have had to adjust all of the vendors I had scheduled for tomorrow. This failed move has cost me time and money, and I wish that they had declined my request for service rather than attempting to overbook themselves, turn off their office phones and completely and utterly blow me off. This has put me in a huge pickle and I will absolutely not be using their services ever again and I strongly recommend you think twice before booking them - they may not show up or answer the phone. read more

BEWARE! STAY AWAY! These guys deserve 0 stars. I had an absolutely horrible experience with these "PRO" movers. Complete scammers. I had to pay $919.50 to move a 1 bedroom apartment (has large elevators)that took 2 guys 8 hours! That's after them giving me a "discount" (When I moved in, it took 2 guys 4 hours) I also already had all my stuff packed. All I needed was them to move my boxes plus 9 furniture items: 1 large wooden bed. "Pro" movers disassembled and assembled 1 TV "Pro" movers disassembled and assembled 3 tables. I disassembled and assembled myself cause these guys work too slow. 2 shelves to be disposed within my apartment complex 1 L couch 1 tv stand Out of the 2 items "Pro" movers disassembled and assembled for me, they have a 100% chance of breaking my furniture. My bed frame is crooked and not straight. You can see the slant in the beams. There are gaps in between where the wood should fit smoothly and nicely together. There are screw holes without screws in place. This bed was a nice and sturdy bed. Now it squeaks and the sturdiness is no longer there. The TV is even worse. "Pro" movers misplaced the screws for the TV stand. In a pathetic and weak attempt to try to hide this, they put the tv leg stands on with 1 undersized wrong screw (there are suppose to be 3)and leaned the TV against a drawer to make it appear like it was standing. The 65'' TV would have fallen flat onto the ground if I had not caught it in time. I got Brad and Brandon as my movers. Brandon is a good hard worker although not the most experienced. Brad, the driver and the one who seemed to be the in control, was just bad all around, from starting with "we appreciate tips", to missing for up to 40 mins during the move, but not uncommon for him to be gone 15-20 minutes regularly. I even overheard Brandon in the hallway ask Brad, "where the hell were you." I had assumed that Brad was moving and loading the things in the hallway and into the truck but when I stepped outside everything was still sitting there. I actually called "pro" movers the next day to give them a chance to fix the situation. They said they take these situations very seriously and they escalate this to manager level. DO NOT BELIEVE THESE LIES. Talked to someone in upper management but they were just as unprofessional. They actually requested that I called them in an hour or so because they were busy at the moment. When I did call, they never took down any information nor did they explain to me when it will be resolved. Was just told on the phone we will fix this today. Got a text at 5pm the same day saying "Ok. Looking to get this squared away." Since then I have heard nothing back from them. Honestly "pro" movers should be ashamed of yourselves and how you conduct business. Stay the hell away from this place. Brandon if you see this I suggest you get a new partner or manager, cause this Brad guy is dragging you down. Brandon you pretty much moved my 1 bedroom apartment by yourself. So I am writing again because apparently the new managers have made a complaint with yelp that I "embellished" my experience. Asking to either remove it or edit it. I will not be bullied. You have no idea who you are dealing with. I explicitly wrote my review in detail so that others would be warned and for someone who is trying to get bad reviews removed who wasn't there when this happens to me is plain pathetic. I was contacted by police after this all happened and I filed a report and the men were arrested for doing the same thing to someone else. The lady who owned this business at the time stated that she would compensate me the expense of my move and I never heard back from her. I list valuable family jewels that belonged to my father who is long gone and things he gave my mother. I even gave those movers clothes and shoes that I was going to have to get rid of anyway and they took that. Which I did permit. Why steal from someone? I have moved nearly every year for the past few decades & make sure to hire licensed, professional moving companies, so I did much research when needing to find movers in the South Orange County area. They presented well on the phone, seemed professional, emailing copies of quotes & confirmed bookings. They emailed me the day prior to confirm move, and also confirmed again via text message, as you can see from screenshots. I confirmed & they verified. Our move was scheduled yesterday for 12:00, no one showed. Not only that, but after the 12-1 window, I called & a man answered telling me I had to speak to who booked it and transferred me to Ahmad. It just rang 30 times & hung up on me, so I called back & the woman for reservations said to hold, she'd stay on the line until he picked up. 23 minutes later & no one ever came back on the line after holding, so called again & left a voicemail asking for an ETA & update, as we were all waiting & had to move that day, moving cross country. No one called back, so I text the number back & finally was given a call back by John. He apologized & said to give him 5 minutes & he'd try to round up a crew to show up in the next hour. He also stated he felt bad, was disappointed in his staff & offered $200 in gas as an apology for the inconvenience. I said ok, well is someone coming to help us today? He replied, let me give you a call back in 5 minutes & I'll see what we can do. Well, he never called back. No one showed & never received any offered compensation. So yesterday on 7/9/21 we were left in a two story house stranded, just my husband & I having to have my Dad nearly 60, with stints put in after a heart attack help us move every single piece of furniture & box down two flights of stairs. A move is stressful. It is essential to work with reliable and trustworthy partners. ProMoversOC failed completely. Like other reviewers, I got a call the day before my move letting me know that my move would be rescheduled from 8am because their truck broke down. I was told that there were two smalls before me, but, a crew would be at my house between 3 and 5 pm. On the day of the move, I called at 4:30 pm to check on the status of my move and was given another number to call - Sasha, the logistic coordinator. Sasha promised to contact her crew and give me an update. Here we are, two days later, and she has not yet called me. When I called her back, I got her voicemessage that said: "Don't call me to repeat a concern, I'll get back to you within 72 hours.' The voicemessage box was full and could not take additional messages. This was another sign that this company will not shoot straight with customers. I left my house at 7:30 pm, not knowing what I would do. It was too late to find another company, and I couldn't even rent a UHaul to move myself. Soon afterwards I got a call from the crew. He told me they were on a very large job and could get to my house afterwards to pick up my things, but it was too late to deliver them to the storage facility because it was after hours. He did not have an estimated time of arrival, so we worked out he would come the next morning at 7 am. This breakdown in service was concerning because I had scheduled a walk through before closing on the sale of my home. In addition, I wasted an entire day on a move that did not happen! -The point is that ProMoversOC lied to me. -They were unresponsive. -They use multiple sub-contractors, thus they overbook and over commit. -They will drop small jobs, like mine, if there is a larger job. -The company lacks accountability.
