Usually I have very good…read moreinteractions, quality work, etc. My most recent service brought me to write this review, I took my early 2000s Toyota Sedan in for spark plugs and a transmission fluid change. When I picked up the car it had a pretty poor misfire on cylinder #5, and it turns out at some point the spark plug strap was bent up on install. I also had to bring the car back for a pretty active leak from the transmission drain plug, it turns out that the "one time use" crush washer was reused and it leaked pretty profusely from the drain plug. These are common mistakes. They happen, I get it. However, within 10 seconds of sitting in my car to pick it up I heard and felt the misfire. I don't know if the technician had a bad day or what, but that is just sloppy work. Someone didn't double check after the tune up. Someone also forgot the crush washer on my trans drain plug. If I hadn't checked under the vehicle for fluid leaks when I performed my oil change, this would have ruined my transmission. All of this being said, Harwood did make both of the issues right at no cost to me. They worked quickly to fix the issues.

We had a gas nozzle stuck in the fuel filler neck, they quoted me $311 to take the filler neck off…read moreand get the nozzle out and put the filler neck back on, sounded simple enough... Then when they could not get the nozzle out, they were going to put a new filler neck on, but that was going to be $1280 ($838 for the filler neck after taxes). So now the labor was going to cost $442 (an additional $131 for labor for 10 minutes of work). So I ended up just buying the part from another store, which was only $200, not $838, and replacing myself. I tried to talk to the owner to get the original price reduced since they did not fix anything and was told that could not be done. He admitted that it only took 20-30 minutes to do what they did. I was told that I was paying for the 15 years of experience to learn how to remove a couple bolts and replace them lol. So $311 for 30 minutes of work, which comes out to $622 an hour labor. Great job guys!! Please stay away from this place, unless you want to throw your money away.

Ray came to my house, diagnosed the issue, ordered parts, then returned the following day for the respective repairs. He was very punctual and fast getting it done. Highly recommend.
