I was really on edge walking in this morning to get a tire changed. I've had a lot of bad experiences with Discount Tire. But they did a great job today and I just wanted to send a good review because this location deserves it. Friendly staff! read more

Amazing service, friendly, helpful & great warrenty protection benefits. Overall experience of getting a tire replaced under warrenty was excellent. While you should expect a small wait when you're coming in, they really work hard to keep it at a minimum. Plus I don't think I've ever come across a friendlier automotive staff! Highly recommend! read more

I have been getting my tires at this location for a couple of years. The staff here is amazing and they take great care of their customers! If you are anywhere the east Charlotte area and need tires, this is the place to come! read more

They can not manage the front desk. No one present. Wait time is horrible and they operate inefficiently. Taking phone calls instead of waiting on the customers in line. read more

Bought the tires and scheduled the service online. Showed up on time for my appointment and was immediately greeted by the friendly employee Jairo. There was no pressure for any kind of up sell and my service was completed in less than an hour. Easy as can be! read more

I called one location and got a quote of $520 plus tax for four tires. Called this the size brand and model of the tire and was quoted over $1500 for the exact same tires. When I pressed, he said oh yeah, I could probably do that for $520. Some shady stuff going on there. read more

Great service, I have been purchasing my tires there since they first open. I like the fact that they will check your tires in the parking lot so that you can see first-hand the problems. I have been purchased tires from them for my last two car and will continue. read more

Had my car brought in to replace 2 back tires yesterday and a few mins after driving it down the road my tire pressure light came on and pressure in my back right tire is not reading. I had it taken back up there to have it looked at and they said all my sensors in my tires are low. ... he showed they were reading low but my issue is my back tire pressure light didn't come on until they put the tire on. Then quoted 60.00 per sensor after charging 100.00 to just put on 2 back tires. No alignment or nothing. The least he could've done was replace the one sensor that "went bad" after he put the tire on. This place seems to be one of those that will cause an issue with your car by doing quick work and charge you more for the next issue. Also, one staff member didn't seem to be professional when he was parked beside me in a customers truck about to pull it around, yelling at another employee about either a customer or another employee but in Spanish I heard "that's the SOB that...." and I couldn't hear the rest of what he was saying, because my music was up in the car that I was sitting in but both our windows were down. Either way, very unprofessional. My overall experience... they are nice in your face but talk bad about you when they think no one is paying attention. They over charge and made another issue with my car that is not resolved read more

Horrible service. didnt even get acknowledged by any associate after I asked to speak to a manager. They acted as if I didn't exist. what kind of customer service is this?? read more

One of the view shops for a business like this I have been too with great counter people. They are knowledgeable and polite. They were on time did a great job. The inside has a large waiting area with WiFi to help pass the time. I did not purchase tires from them as I ordered my tires online from Tire Rack since there was a rebate that saved me additional money. The cost for installation was very reasonable. They advised me they could not do a wheel alignment for my particular vehicle as it required special tools but they did recommend a place near them that did a great job. Would definitely use them in the future. read more

My experience at this discount tire was amazing! Cleveland was incredibly attentive to the lobby, getting guest checked in and redirecting them to sales reps as needed. Kevin was my sales rep and he was so polite and professional! Very solid team at this location!! read more

Literally 5 stars. Guy was extremely helpful! Needed an all 4 tire change out and I was there no longer than 45 minutes. The drive now is as smooth as butter. Highly recommend! read more

Finding a nail in your tire is like spilling coffee down your shirt just before an important meeting. Ugh! Can it get any worse? Well, yes. Before my day was completely ruined, however, Discount Tire came to my rescue. After assessing my options (poor, bad, and just plain ugly) I decided to replace all the tires and add the road hazard warranty. Tony, my attendant, was very helpful even though they were grossly understaffed. My spare was installed as a temporary solution while my Pirelli's shipped overnight. The next day--presto!--new tires and I am out the door at a reasonable price. Cool. Tony's problem solving was a Godsend. I appreciated his willingness to fit me in so I could get home at a reasonable time (I live about 30 minutes from the store). He didn't have to go the extra mile, but he did. Has life sent you an unexpected little gift? Discount Tire has serviced my vehicles at about every location in the greater Charlotte area over the past 27 years. I've never had a poor experience. Give 'em a whirl. I like 'em. read more

They are professional and courteous and very helpful!!! I would recommend!! I have been to the South Blvd and Albemarle locations.

I've been here a few times and have had great service. On a Friday with a long line, they still gave me excellent service and didn't appear hurried or rushing me. They've remodeled since my last time here and it's pretty clean, looks almost new. Plenty of comfortable seating while waiting and they also have Wi-fi Back again and service is still excellent! read more

I've always used Discount Tire. They are good with me always get a military discount which makes me feel special lol I called them ahead to get a price on some tires for my 2007 350Z. They gave me a quote but I called around and ended up calling them back to see if they price matched they did but this time I didn't get a military discount I only saved 6$ when it came down to it off the price match. So I set an appointment up and came in they fixed the price and hopped into my car. Downfall is that when they tried getting into my car and move it they didn't put down a cover on the seat like most places do so I had to dust it off a bit before getting in. Also the kid couldn't figure out how to put it in reverse so he's sitting outside burn the clutch and trying to figure it out instead of asking. Before I could get out there he figured it out and started moving. He pulled into the bay and what irritated me the most he drops the clutch and stalls out my car. Now I take very big pride in my car as I've dropped lots of money into it so for him to drop the clutch and stall out and everyone around him to laugh and act like it's a joke rubbed me the wrong way. I understand having fun while working but it's not professional to be doing it with someone's car. I found no laughter in that. Doing lots of business with Discount Tire I love the company they are great but this one was just an eh ok shop. Really I'd give me a 2 1/2 if I could. If you are needing help though ask for Pat. read more

Heard something stuck on my tire close to home today, and planned on checking it as soon as I got home. Felt something dislodge from tire, and thought I was in the clear. Got into my garage and air started hissing out-tire was flat within a few minutes. I have a pretty new SUV so was not thrilled with the prospect of replacing a tire on a vehicle with 4,000 miles on it. They told me their policy that inspection and repairs are free, that you don't pay unless it needs to be replaced. I thought that surely they told everyone they needed a new tire. To my surprise-they told me they found and fixed the hole for free, and off I went. Thank you for being a pleasant spot in a tough day! Great business model, I would surely come back if I have another problem read more

This location has always been our go to place for tires. However Saturday, they far exceeded any expectation. We had family travel in from out of town. They got here out of town with a nail in their tire. Discount tire closes at 5:00. They not only still had other customer, but still helped my family. They could not plug the tire, but they gave them a free used tire to make it home. This was amazing service and just a generous act of kindness. This is so rare anymore. I just had to say Thank you to all the guys at this location. Melinda read more

We have used their tire check several times. Always very professional and friendly. Thank you for what you do..

I have always loved Discount Tire. This location is proving to take just as good of care of me as when I lived in Michigan where I became a forever fan! Buying your tires and insuring them here = great service and support, replacement tires, patches etc. for free. I love to people watch and the servicemen and salesmen here are great professionals too. I used to live in Detroit and I would get roughly 2 flats a year because of the terrible roads, high amount of driving I did and perhaps a bit of my driving style... they always took such good care of me and I got my money's worth of replacement tires. Once when trying to change a flat with a nail in it on the side of the road I couldn't get he tire off for the life of me. In desperation I called them, I was determined to do this myself and a man stayed on the phone with me and coached me through kicking it off! I just gotta say, I still love this business! read more

I would always come here for anything tire related. But now the service is completely ridiculous! Tire balancing and rotating that is included in your warranty? They pretend to do it! I have had several cars that I have taken there. And to be sure, I even marked the tires and lugs to see if work was being done. And nope! They pretend to do work they say they did. When I asked and pointed it out, they tried to insist that they did the work anyway. The Management is useless and need to flip burgers if they can manage that. Do your self a favor and go elsewhere! Or at least a different Discount Tire. This one is no good anymore! read more

I felt satisfied with my experience today. The bay was very busy but the employees seemed ready to tackle any issues that came their way. David was pleasant at the desk and was able to get me a great deal on 4 tires. Alex was able to help out , after I had an issue that required that extra bit of help. Another employee handled a disgruntled customer who made a fuss about a lawn mower tire... Right, go figure. All in all the service was outstanding and the new tires make a huge difference. Went in here yesterday to get my tires rotated and balanced. I was really impressed with their approach in customer services. Mind you, I've been using Discount Tires for well over 6 years... The folks at Discount Tire on Albemarle Road are the greatest. They have patched tires for me for free, given me advice, promised to order the particular tire I use even though they don't normally stock it, cheerfully check tire pressure for me and even once "negotiated down" from an already reasonable price to a price I could actually afford for a service when I was really really strapped for money! Friendly, cheerful, helpful- you just can't do better than these guys when it comes to tire sales and service.
