Great group here and service minded. Even made a house call to help diagnose an issue. Referred a friend and they took good care of him too.

My car kept overheating. I figured it was the thermostat. I took it to another place in Mint…read moreHill, they told me my engine was shot. I needed a new engine which would cost about $5K. Then they found out GM no longer manufactured my engine, so it would cost $7K for them to put in a used one. That didn't sound right to me, so I called Coffey to see when I could bring my car by the shop. I didn't tell them what the other repair shop told me. Coffey said it was the thermostat, and charged me $372. A big difference from $7K. Needless to say, I won't be going back to the shop that tried to cheat me. They figured a gray-haired old lady was stupid. They were wrong!

We decided to have it checked out, to see what the problem was. (We could see $$$ in our minds.) Coffey's has performed other work on our cars, in the past, so we took it to them and left it, while they investigated the problem. A couple of hours later, David called and told us the A/C was working and we could come pick it up. The best part: it cost us a lot less than other repair shops wanted to charge! These guys are the best at what they do!! They are trustworthy and very accommodating. Do yourself, and your wallet, a big favor. If you're in need of a good mechanic (and all of the guys are very talented), go to COFFEY CAN FIX IT!!! The Funderburks Charlotte, NC

I highly recommend Harwood Automotive. Their office staff…read morewas very efficient taking my call & scheduled my appointment within a very reasonable timeframe. Once my car was being repaired, I was able to call & speak with my service rep & receive immediate feedback. After a part was ordered for me, they called to let me know it was in. They're very professional & completed my work in a timely manner. Their customer service is like many businesses used to have.

When I picked up the car it had a pretty poor misfire on cylinder #5, and it turns out at some point the spark plug strap was bent up on install. I also had to bring the car back for a pretty active leak from the transmission drain plug, it turns out that the "one time use" crush washer was reused and it leaked pretty profusely from the drain plug. These are common mistakes. They happen, I get it. However, within 10 seconds of sitting in my car to pick it up I heard and felt the misfire. I don't know if the technician had a bad day or what, but that is just sloppy work. Someone didn't double check after the tune up. Someone also forgot the crush washer on my trans drain plug. If I hadn't checked under the vehicle for fluid leaks when I performed my oil change, this would have ruined my transmission. All of this being said, Harwood did make both of the issues right at no cost to me. They worked quickly to fix the issues.

These qualities are the facets that reinforce my trust and brand loyalty. For the past decade, despite living 45 minutes away, I've preferred driving or towing my car there instead of using a nearby mechanic. Even on the most hectic of days, the front-desk staff always welcome you with a cheerful smile. The BOSS, Howard, is very kind and will recommend only the necessary actions that you must take to fix or maintain your car. FROM THEIR OWN WORDS: Fair Repair Auto Care is dedicated to helping our community keep their vehicles running smoothly while saving money. We understand how essential your car is for daily routines, whether it's taking children to school or commuting to work. That's why we're here for all your maintenance and repair needs--from oil changes and brake service to engine and transmission repairs or replacements.
