The A/C in my 1993 Toyota Corolla wagon stopped working last summer and we did not want to go through another summer without it. We decided to have it checked out, to see what the problem was. My car kept overheating. I figured it was the thermostat. I took it to another place in Mint Hill, they told me my engine was shot. I needed a new engine which would cost about $5K. Then they found out GM no longer manufactured my engine, so it would cost $7K for them to put in a used one. That didn't sound right to me, so I called Coffey to see when I could bring my car by the shop. I didn't tell them what the other repair shop told me. Coffey said it was the thermostat, and charged me $372. A big difference from $7K. Needless to say, I won't be going back to the shop that tried to cheat me. If I could give this shop 10 stars I would. I have worked in automotive myself for years. As I got older and wiser I have seen many shops scam, overprice and sabotage vehicles to be brought in on a regular basis. Not only do these guys do fantastic work, but they are honest, and underpriced. I almost hate to say that as I hate having to wait when my car needs something and I cannot get in on a timely manor. But if you are that good at what you do, and are fair priced, then yeah. Customer service is actually really good as all of them work in the shop. So, yeah, you may have to wait a few for an answer, but you do get an answer. They could pay someone to sit at desk and charge customers for it. But every one there pitches in on everything. Any one that says these guys are not honest have no idea. I am old school. From a time that service techs scam you. That is not the case with this shop. If you are more worried about customer service than work being done and pricing, go to the mercedes dealership. If you want things done right and for a decent price, Coffee Can Fix It and will!!!! Took my Monte Carlo ss there a while back, this is what I got after paying nearly $800.00 They were no help when I went back. Please do not take your vehicle there. I wanted to have some FlowMasters put on my truck but the cost and service recommendations were crazy. One of my boys recommended giving Andrew a call after he had some put on his Challenger. I gave them a call, and dropped my truck off the next day. It literally took about an hour to have them put on. After i went to pick it up, David(the owner) let me know my options if it wasnt louf enough. After a few days i realized i needed to go ahead and do the resonator delete. I gave them a call and with no problem...they had me in and out. Now my truck is aggressive and loud just how i wanted it! The prices were/are amazing!!! I had been looking for someone to put a leveling kit on my Ram 1500 sl just out of curiosity i asked if they installed them. They told me exactly which one to order and which one not to order(as it cost more for the parts and more to install). To have any kind of shop to lead you in the right direction for what you need opposed to how they can charge you more is THE BEST!!! I need to get some new tires and they guided me the right direction as to wait before or after the leveling kit install. I ordered the leveling kit and the install is taking place Friday. When i say i would recommend them to anyone who would listen...thats an understatement. Any mods they are able to perform for my truck...i will only go to them! Took my car because it was running rough Coffey changed the oil and said that was all that was wrong with it..Few days later car left a big oil spot on the driveway..took it back to Coffey shop and they said the oil plug had been left loose.
