Sun City was one of the 5 options in which I messaged 3 of the 5 and received a response from all 3 however the hours and availability as well as the reviews related to Sun is the reason I choose to proceed with Sun City. This place is nestled up a little rocky hill and can easily be mistaken for a small tow yard or parking if driving too fast. I called and schedule an appointment for a FREE diagnosis and upon arriving I was greeted by Sandy who was pleasant and handed me a form to complete as a newbie. I checked in on Yelp and showed Sandy and received my coffee cup (tea cup in my case as I don't drink coffee). The waiting area is small with 4 seats and a television, I was lucky to be there when I was as I had the second seat. Chuck took me out to show me under the car and explain what I needed and he was so thorough to even out the items in order of importance in the chance that the cost was out of budget. I actually decided to get everything done as the total for it all plus several extra things was still 1/4 of the cost provided by the dealer with labor. We were leaving town the next day and Chuck allowed us to leave the car over the weekend and once we picked it up Monday it drove like the day I drove it off the lot new. Not only was the original problem not fixed correctly, but the work performed appears to have caused additional damage to my vehicle, including damage to the water pump and radiator cooling fan. Despite charging me more than $1,600 for the repair, the vehicle continued to experience the same issues. Because the problem was never resolved, I was forced to seek a second opinion from another mechanic. After a thorough inspection, the new repair shop disassembled the affected components and showed me evidence of damage and improper repairs that were left behind by the previous service center. As a result, I am now facing additional repair costs for parts and labor that could have been avoided had the original repair been performed correctly. I trusted this facility because it was recommended through AAA, but my experience has been extremely frustrating and costly. I would not recommend this repair shop based on the quality of work performed and the unnecessary expenses I have incurred as a result. I am requesting full reimbursement of the charges I paid for the original repair, as well as compensation for the additional damage caused to other vehicle components and the extra repair costs I am now being forced to incur to restore my vehicle to proper working condition.

The 2nd visit for a SCHEDULED oil change took almost 3 hours and resulted in an inspection report stating the car needed thousands of dollars of maintenance and repairs. The car was not due for these services by mileage or time according to the manufacturer's guidelines. This years LOF and inspection performed by a local independent shop confirmed all is fine and only an oil change was needed. No contact from management when feedback was provided. Apparently, their business strategy is to try lure people in with some service special, then con everyone and make their money from the few poor people that get intimidated into paying for unnecessary work. This long-time member cancelled our membership, and I DO NOT recommend trying them for emergency or regular service!
