Mike is the pilot and Jason is the co-pilot. I have never had an issue with my cars after service was performed on them. Both Mike and Jason are friendly, courteous, and very professional when it comes to fixing the cars. Before any major work is performed on the cars, I am given a courtesy call as to what needs to be done to them. If your car needs to be serviced, I would suggest to call a couple of days in advance because they do get busy servicing other vehicles. I was quoted 158 for this job the day prior over the phone and I confirmed at the start of the appointment if that would be the price. My brakes were in poor shape, missing a brake pad on one side and the mechanics spent an extra 15-20 mins working on my cylinder. At the end of the job, Chris informed me that they got air on the line and would have to bleed the brakes. (I've always had my brakes bled at the end of any brake job so this is standard for me to have done whenever I get my breaks done. They told me this would be an extra 120 dollars at the end of the job. My father is a mechanic and said that price was a little high just to bleed the brakes and was very familiar with the procedure. He told me "go call your dad and ask him to send you more money." When I asked if they could take 20 bucks off and knock the price down to 100 from 120 he asked me to tell him how old I was which I thought was rude and uncalled for. I told him I was 30 and he proceeded to say "wow you look 18" and said "one day you're going to have to learn that everything in life isn't free sweetheart." When I went to his office to pay he also said I'm going to have to buy him lunch because they spent extra time working on my car than they planned. Disgusting behavior. I would not recommend this shop to any woman (or really anyone) unless you want to be taken advantage of and upsold. They ended up bleeding one brake so my car would be somewhat drivable. My interior dashboard was also scratched up when I got my car back from them.

Finally we had to use a bungee cord to keep the trunk lid down. We took our car to Paul's Automotive and they were able to order and install a new latch and now we are happy to be able to use the trunk without fear of it popping open. I'm grateful the situation was ultimately resolved, but disappointed that it took this level of effort and public pushback to be heard. I wish they had been willing to have a conversation before I had to exhaust every possible avenue. That said, I appreciate that they did eventually make it right. I would give the district manager 4 stars based on our actual conversation--but I'm updating this review to two stars overall because of the level of effort it took to get here, and the prior conversations had with the branch, customer service, and BBB correspondence that all doubled down on their policy regardless of the specific situation.

Last October my check engine light started flashing on my Silverado and no one could tell me why! I even took it to the Chevrolet dealership near my home in Atlanta, Ga. and they missed diagnosed the issues! I knew I needed brakes and shocks on my truck and I knew I was coming to Concord, NC for my birthday! So I decided to bring my truck to the Pep Boys here to have the work done! Now here's what I didn't expect, I didn't expect Tanner the automotive Tech to be so dayum good at what he does! Tanner took one look at my truck and saw that my PVC hose had come loose on my truck which was the cause of my flashing cel. He also saw that my value cover gaskets were leaking! He also told me I didn't need a brake master cylinder, but I did need just front brakes! Tanner replaced my front brakes and resurfaced my rotors! Tina the asst manager, made sure that I was able to apply my Just Brakes wannaties, all the work was going to be completed that day, and have my truck would be back to me before a event that I had to attend that evening! She also made it possible for Lyft to take me home while the work was being done on my truck and then pick me up again! Today I told Mark Davis the store manager, the fact that Tanner was able to address and fix my check engine light issues was enough for me to come back the next time I'm in town! With the new shocks and brakes my truck rides like its brand new! Thank you again Tina, Tanner and Mark for your outstanding customer service! You guys totally Rocks!
