Aquapro falsely reported that…read moreI needed "modifications" to install the new filter so that they could charge me out of pocket charges of $500. I had two other contractors give me quotes and state that no modifications are needed. Jason at Aquapro admitted that this is how they make money on customers that the home warranty sends them. They add vague "modifications" that aren't covered to the work-order when nothing actually needs to be modified so they can charge out of pocket charges. I told my home warranty and provided proof from the other quotes I received. Both Aquapro and First American Home Warranty are cheating their customers.

They did it all. Highly recommend great service great company!

Our 20 year old Jandy pool remote and controller recently stopped working for us. We got Aqua…read morePool's name from the Jandy website as an authorized Jandy service company so we gave them a call. We scheduled an appointment with them to come out. The technician arrived on time, he was friendly, professional and very knowledgeable. He identified the problem and suggested that there were two options for us, explained pros and cons of both options, and they would have to spec out the costs and send us a quote. We got a quote for both options in a couple of days. The quotes were fair from the research I'd done. I spoke with Gary who was great and we chose to replace the whole unit with a newer model that integrates with a phone based app. We scheduled for the replacement installation and the technician came back on time again. He got everything installed, everything pre-registered with Jandy for warranty purposes, and then took the time go over how the system works; he also made some recommended adjustments based on our setup. Overall, I couldn't have hoped for a better experience. I would highly recommend them. We will definitely be using them again for any future pool issues that we run into.

Our experience with this company has been ridiculously horrible. Our pool man retired, and we…read moredecided to go with another local company so we can support our community. We didn't notice immediately that they were just coming by and dumping a gallon of chlorine into the pool and leaving. They don't actually clean the pool the way our our original guy did. Not only that, but after a few complaints, they tried to clean the pool and broke the attachment of our automatic vacuum! They switched days and started coming on the days I work from home and I would see them come in and immediately leave, so I waited and watched one day and saw that they come in dump the chlorine in and leave. Seriously, even I can do that! Twice now we've found that our pool has algae growing. Of the six years we were with our original pool cleaner, never has this ever happened. We've talked directly to the service guy as well as the owner of the company many times about the lack of service they provide. I guess they don't really care about what they do, as long as they're still making money. We're finally giving up on them and are looking for a company that will actually clean our pool. It's too bad that it didn't work out, especially because we've given them so many chances.
