Im so glad she did because I dont think I will go anywhere else again esp if they are going to be wax. This isnt your typical brow service at all. This is literally an experience and that is clear from the moment you book your appt to when you actually get im the chair. They take time to educate you on the process, brow mapping and how to grow you brows natually. Best of all they also offer tinting (although it wears off pretty fast its the thought lol). It is pricey given we are normally spending no more than $20. This is more like $50. But I think its absolutely worth it. I go more like every 5 weeks which works for me. Give it a try. PRMP Brow and Beauty Studio is one of the worst places I have ever been to. This is because of the following: The owner makes up policies to keep certain people out. She charges you a fee if you are a no show. Once you call to make her aware that you will be late, she still charges your account. This policy is completely unacceptable and unbecoming. I continued going here just due to an allegiance as "Nicole" the owner did my eyebrows when I was pregnant with my child, Zahra, but now I will never return because all they do is play games. Typically, when I've gone to get my eyebrows waxed anywhere else they communicate what I want and just have to hope that when they hand me the mirror at the end, they actually did what I wanted, and if not, I'm stuck looking how I look for several weeks. At PRMP, you communicate your brow goals, they map your brows on your face and show it to you for approval before removing any hair, so you know what it's going to look like. they also give you tips on how to maintain and grow your brows. I have been using the Brow Zhuzh serum they sell, and I think I'm starting to see some improvements after about two weeks with my brows looking fuller! Highly recommend PRMP! read more

It's a very nice building, well put together which I like. Only negative one star because firstly I got to my appointment relatively on time (maybe a minute or two late) and it took 15-20 minutes for me to be actually seen, which could possibly be concerning as I usually book my maintenance appointments back to back. So starting anywhere between 15-25 minutes after my appointment time could be not so great. Loved the consultation before hand, they really care about what you want to do with your brows and do their best to accommodate to that! I had a facial this past Wednesday at PRMP's flagship location. I hadn't had a facial in years for a variety of reasons but needed some pampering as my caregiving duties are quite challenging these days. I was met upon entry by the proprietor, Nikki, who was quite delightful and accommodating. Dee, the esthetician, was assigned to provide my service. She had reviewed my profile and explained what she planned to do and products she would use and why based on her assessment of my profile information. She confirmed with me that she understood my conditions that could impact the services to be provided. Dee was an awesome esthetician! The cleansing, massage, application of products to my skin was done with the most soothing touch. I was transported to a place of mental tranquillity. Upon completion, Dee recommended skin a care regimen and provided samples. I will definitely use them. I felt amazing when the services were complete. I just tried PRMP for the first time and I am thoroughly impressed! I saw Dee for my brows & a lash tint and I'm so happy with my results. Beyond that, the customer service was amazing. The studio is beautiful & clean and they gave me a tour since it was my first time in. It was the most relaxing service I've experienced, complete with an eye mask, cold roller, and a little massage. I found PRMP through Yelp, and am thrilled that I did. I had it bookmarked for a while, and I regret that it took me so long to visit. Finding someone who does great brows is difficult in this area. Nicole and her team are fantastic. She creates amazing brows and is quite talented. Ramona is so friendly and helpful. I recently met Ashley, and she was really nice. I've been twice. During my first appointment, Nicole outlined my brow shape, which put me at ease, and we discussed brow goals. I was thrilled with my wax and tint and really appreciate that the initial appointment is so detailed. Maintenance appointments require less time, but I'm still equally pleased. I feel pampered during each visit, even though I'm just getting a wax and tint. Nicole books up quickly--I think it was a month between the time I booked and my initial appointment. I've since booked maintenance visits through the fall. The salon is so modern and gorgeous that I almost feel out of place. I love that they keep your credit card on file and you don't need to swipe when you visit, plus you can add tip on the card. And of course, you can book online. This had to have been the best Beauty Salon experience I've ever had. Everyone in the salon spoke and was very kind and friendly. They offered me tea which helped me unwind from my stressful morning. If you need ANYTHING waxed, this is the place to do it. Every single person here knows what they are doing and does their job with excellence. This is the only place I trust. They are professional, quick and patiently deals with my crybaby ways. I typically get just a Brazilian and brows but I've also gotten under arms and upper lip done once or twice as well. This little hidden gem (pronounced "PRIMP") is hiding in plain sight in a non-descript building along Georgia Avenue. But step inside and you'll find a place full of beauty, tranquility, and black girl magic! Nicole Alexis is a master at her craft, and she has created a very nice and professional waxing and brow service experience. From the clear salon policies to the easy online booking platform to the helpful receptionist Ramona, PRMP really makes it easy for you to get on schedule for your needed services. (Pro tip -- But you do have to book well in advance though because this place is popular and slots fill up quickly.). The salon itself is like a little urban oasis, very light and bright, pretty and clean. Plus, it even has a little rack where you can shop products from other black woman-owned businesses (like things made by LuvScrub or Honeypot to keep up with your beauty routine at home). My first service here was an eyebrow tinting and shaping service by Nicole many moons ago. I was pleased with my results overall, but didn't keep up with it because my eyebrows just naturally don't grow -- and it wasn't a good value for me to invest in them with so expensive a treatment option. So I moved from there on to the waxing services. I was extremely pleased with my waxing services from Nicole. Her technique is absolutely flawless, and she makes what is otherwise a painful experience much less so. She always worked very fast and left you with a perfect line, every time. Unfortunately, Nicole ultimately stopped doing waxes and began to devote herself exclusively to brows for a while, before ultimately going out on maternity leave for a while altogether. Enter my new waxer, Ashley. Ashley is wonderfully kind and sweet, and she has a lot of great ideas about healthy and holistic beauty generally so it's always a pleasure to speak with her. Ashley is a good waxer as well, though they tended to be a little bit more painful than my waxes from Nicole. I love PRMP studios! from the point of scheduling my appointment to arriving at the studio for service I've been treated with nothing but high regard. Ramona & Kim were extra sweet & professional. Upon your first visit you receive a tour of the studio and are introduced to great local products they sell at the shop (PS: I have Nicole's Brow powder and it's amazing) Nicole's services were so precise and gently.
