Just came from the salon for my eyebrow and upper lip appointment and I was quite pleased! She provided me hand sanitizer which was a nice touch, and as she worked I could tell she was taking her time, assessing my face to make sure my eyebrows are even, trimming and etc. After we were done, she brought me to an area for me to scan my parking ticket (there is a garage within the shopping complex), which allowed me to not have to pay for my parking ticket! I decided to give threading a try because waxing was burning and damaging my skin. And I went with Classic because of the great reviews. Meena did not disappoint. The shop was clean, Meena was very nice and, as someone who is immune compromised, I was grateful she was masked and provided hand sanitizer. The process was fast and though it did hurt a little she was as gentle as possible, gave me a tissue because you can tear up and it was much better for my skin than waxing. All in all, the lady didn't do a horrible job with threading my eyebrows. It just wasn't a great job either. The arch over my right eye is slightly higher than the way she arched the left. The biggest faux pas was her persona. She did not speak to me other than a greeting and asking if I wanted just a clean up. She conversed with her friend the entire tome she worked on me. HOW RUDE! Went today to get my eyebrows threaded for the 1st time since COVID (had been tweezing on my own these past 3 years) -- and I'm SO glad I did . I used to go somewhere else pre-pandemic, but the person I went to is no longer at the location I used to go to. I am so glad I found Meena! She has online appointment booking, which I find so convenient and easy. I was able to book same day (she only had 1 opening left.) She was so wonderful and welcoming, and punctual as well. Her space is so clean and she offered me hand sanitizer as I was getting settled in the chair before she started. We also both wore masks. The Sola Salon studios are really conveniently located (street level below The Veridian apartments), and parking is right there. And Sola will even validate, so parking was free! Meena even walked me around on my way out to show me how to validate my parking ticket. Will definitely be returning next month to get my brows threaded again! read more

So glad to find a great threading place near my home. This little threading shop is conveniently located within the Sola Salon plaza off of East-West Highway in Silver Spring. (If you're not familiar with a salon plaza, it's when one commercial building is divided into dozens of tiny, independently operated salons -- think: separate little salons for nails, hair, brows, etc. -- all in one building.) Now I'm not a very hairy person, but my brows needed a quick shaping and touch-up. The threader (whose name I didn't get) was very efficient and thorough and gentle. So $12 plus tip later, my brows look great! A few tips for first-timers: call ahead first and make an appointment. Even though walk-ins are welcome, the shop is not always open for the full run of its advertised hours. So you should call ahead and make sure someone will be there before just assuming you can pop in and get your brows (or other body parts) threaded. Also, street parking is hard to find, so go ahead and park in the attached parking garage. The shop will validate your parking, so that will be free. read more

I have gotten threaded here probably 5 times and this time I went with the tinting as well. The threading was on point as always. Some places make your brows thinner and thinner every time you go back, but not here. Meena is consistent. I'm very pleased with the tinting as well. Look for #10 in Sola Salon Studios. Mina was able to clean up my eyebrows and also applied some brow powder on an area I had over tweezed. She also validates parking if you need it. I have tried a few other places just for the convenience of being close to work or closer to my home and have regretted it each time and go back to this location. I typically maintain my own brows due to never being satisfied after getting them done but I'm so glad I found this shop and Meena. She kept my brows thick exactly like I asked and just cleaned it up and did all this for $10. Can be tricky to find her shop for first timers - it's inside Sola Salons (you see this from the East West Highway) and she is #10. I found a meter that had money on it on the Main Street but she validates if you park in the garage. Will definitely visit her again and consider this my go to threader! read more
