This has affected my self esteem and I can't leave the house without my brows fully done. Even then, the yellow shows. I've finally found a new doctor that uses a different kind of laser and have some hope. I was lied to and gaslighted by her. She never even accepted that she was wrong - which is all I really wanted.

I got microblading in Feb 2019 and the second picture is just a few days ago. This is just a warning to not only do your homework, but to think twice about getting microblading done at all. I don't think Peta-Gay meant to make my brows look the way they look, but if you have any face asymmetry at all it is really risky. She tried to correct the slight asymmetry and ended up making them look like two different brows. I've been waiting 2.5 years now for them to fade and am getting married next month. It's all I can think about. Even with makeup on, they look completely abnormal and just off from the rest of my face. My comments have nothing to do with the quality of the ink used (this was good), but just with how they were drawn. Every time I look in the mirror they haunt me though and I do want to warn others - especially if they are blonde.

The strokes are thick and harsh rather than the fine, natural hair-like effect that was advertised. The color does not even match my natural brows and the overall result looks faded almost like crayon marks have been drawn on rather than realistic brow hairs. I wasn't even asked about the shape & they were about to be wayyyy to big for my face but luckily I noticed in the nick of time & was able to get her to make them smaller but that's wild to me! Now I have to pay to have the work lasered off & then completely re done so I am out almost $800 completely down the drain! I hate to post a negative review but I was refused a refund so I just think it's ridiculous. Extremely disappointed overall & out a lot of time & money for nothing.

Additionally, despite being in downtown Bethesda, the location allows for easy street parking or garage parking just across the street. Jin has always been so warm, communicative and professional so nothing has changed there. And if you're a fan of her dog like I am, you'll be happy to know you still might get to see him as well. What has changed is the space and an expanding list of services. She asked me kindly if I would be open to her suggestions on additional issues with my hair, and she made some valid points. She not only gave me a great haircut, but she educated me on my hair quality and how to best tackle some issues with uneven growth and color that I was having. I returned about 1.5 months later and she was able to fix much of my hair color unevenness caused by another colorist by giving me a very flattering and gorgeous set of full highlights. She also outlined a plan for us to tackle the stubborn brassiness at the bottom of my hair with future haircuts and toning sessions. I've been told by several friends and family that my hair has never looked better IN MY LIFE, and it feels amazing to not only have great hair but have met such a great artist who cares about my beauty needs. I also appreciate that she has her own large salon space which affords more privacy and comfort, rather than renting a chair in a crowded retail floor.
