I use to get them done every 8 weeks, but now that my lashes are longer I noticed they can last up to 10-12 weeks. I also noticed my lashes got so much longer after I was doing these lifts for a year. Semra is amazing. She's always gentle with my lashes and takes amazing care to make sure they look good. I always leave satisfied with my lashes. My eyes are usually very sensitive as well. When I use to get regular lash lifts, my eyes would get irritated. But with the yumi lash lifts, my eyes aren't irritated. I think the chemicals are more gentle than regular lash lifts. Also I love the natural look of these lashes. They're so curly and long and just naturally pretty. I also got my brows done twice here. I usually don't get my brows done because I don't really care about my brows as much as I do my lashes lol, but Semra made my brows look really nice as well. I was impressed by how different I look with them shaped better. I will think about doing my brows more often here

I visited Semra's studio twice and she gave me a severe allergic reaction (Google PPD allergic reaction and HD Brows and BrowSculpt) that left me with severe hives on my face and extreme swelling of the eyes/ face for which I had to see three doctors and had to use six separate medications. It took me over a month to fully recover (I visited her salon Sept. 17, and am only now fully recovered as of late Oct.). After I told her about it, the only apology she gave me was "sorry to hear about it :(" I asked her for a refund and she refused, not even refunding me the tip or the cost of the service that caused the allergic reaction. On top of that, when I sent her the pictures, her reaction most generously could be understood as ignorance about a very common allergy that occurs due to the chemicals she uses in the line of work she's been in for ~30 years and at worst as accusing me of lying. She refused to take any accountability even when her actions seriously harmed a customer. I'll let you draw whatever conclusions you believe appropriate from my experience.

She did not even respond to anything for days. Absolutely AWFUL!

I am not sure if this place ripped me off because I was a first-time client, but this does not sound right. Shame on me for not doing additional research before coming to this place. I came to this place for its great reviews. It is also suspicious when the price isn't posted on a website etc. Do they charge subjectively depending on the customer who comes in? I'd love to hear more about what prices others are paying at this studio. As a side note, the "bed" was very uncomfortable. It was not a bed. There was a thin layer of blanket/comforter for you to lay on the surface underneath was HARD. I had back pain after laying there for 2 hours. Mimi had the gall to text me and remind me it was time for a refill, checking in multiple times. I support small businesses but since coming here, I have been to 2 other small-business studios who are charging approx $150-200 for new clients / full set. The $350 I paid PLUS the $40 I paid in tip is criminal
