BEST HOLISTIC FACIAL! Y'all. So good. Amanda is a skin wizard. I had terrible acne for all of my 20s and she has helped me finally clear it up! She's so patient in explaining everything and had me bring in my skincare so we could discuss it together. My skin loves the products they have and the best part is- they are holistic!! This was extremely important to me as other estheticians had told me to just get on accutane. Amanda taught me how to gua sha and use cupping tools and my skin has never looked so good! I've been getting treatments from Green Revolution for about 5 years (though nowhere near as regularly as a should). This place is like a fine wine: It just gets better with age. Hands down the best facial I have ever had, and at a great price point. The studio is a single treatment room and waiting room. Very personal, and since Laura only takes one client at a time you never feel like you are being rushed through treatment. Laura takes the time prior to the facial to listen to what you are looking for and evaluate your skin type, then she decides what treatments will best fit your needs. Her facials are incredibly relaxing and effective at the same time. She is very knowledgeable about the products she uses and makes sure to take the time to tell you about them but doesn't push retail purchases, which is nice. This studio was created to give a single person an extremely private and personalized experienced, and Laura did not overlook one single detail. When you walk into the studio, the energy greets you first. The decor is a combination of feminine, modern and mystical. You will feel relaxed immediately upon entering. Then there is Laura. She owns this studio. Her positivity is absolutely radiant. She will guide you back into the treatment area which feels more like a retreat. Amazing. She will leave you to get comfortable and then return to begin your facial. Every single product Laura uses is great for your skin and smells delicious. She is so gentle and will explain what she's using especially if your skin requires something different than the last time. At this appointment, she began with a good cleanse and steam. She also did what felt like a very mild scrub, a gentle lactic acid peel, followed by a series of delicious oils, masks, and/or serums. I also had facial cupping therapy that helps reduce inflammation, increases circulation, helps clear pores, and gets the lymphatic system moving. So so good for you. If facial cupping isn't your thing, Laura also is skilled in microdermabrasion, microneedling, light therapy and other services. Laura takes her time and gives an amazing face, arm, hand, and upper back/neck massage to complement your facial. She also uses crystals on the face and décolleté. After what felt like an eternity of relaxation, Laura will leave you in privacy to get dressed while she brews a fresh pitcher of hot tea, and you'll come out into the boutique & reception area. My most recent appointment with Laura was to try out some new services she is offering, micro blade exfoliation and micro needling.
