Where do I begin? I am obsessed with my eyebrows. I was born with very thin brows so I have learned to fill them in meticulously for the last 15+ years. Be careful when paying the $100 deposit to book the appointment. It is not refundable if you do not make the new appointment 72 hours after you cancel the previously scheduled appointment. I cancelled my August appointment a week before my appointment since I registered to participate in a September triathlon after making my appointment. I decided to wait until after the training and the triathlon to have the micro-threading done. However, since I am a teacher, I need to wait until I find out my new school year schedule for after-school meetings, trainings, etc. before making the new appointment. When I cancelled the appointment, Ronli did not mention or remind me to make sure I reschedule inside 72 hours after the cancellation to protect my deposit. The only detail she did mention is that her prices were going up in September. When I asked her what the new prices would be, she stated the same prices that are on her website now. After a week of cancelling my appointment, I texted her to see when I would receive my $100 deposit credited on my card. She very quickly sent me a screenshot of the 72-hour fineprint on her website circled. Because of how quick she sent to the picture, I assume the picture must be stored on her phone for customers who cancel, do not make the appointment 72 hours after cancelling, and then contact her about not receiving the $100 refund. I would have appreciated her reminding me about making the new appointment inside 72 hours when I cancelled the first appointment so I would have rescheduled and not lost the $100. For her to do so would have practiced good business and put the customer first. I cost her nothing in time, materials, or an appointment from another customer since I cancelled a week in advance. With my $100, Ronli made free money. read more

I took the 5 day beginners course for shading & microblading, this was my experience. Ronli was so rude to me and from the second I walked in I didn't like her attitude. She comes across arrogant in the way she teaches and is very demanding instead of leading you through the process. For example, I forgot my book one day and she screamed at me in front of everyone said "If anyone forgets their book again I'll be really mad because what's the point." Another student agreed that she was too harsh. A simple "Please just remember next time" would have sufficed. On the last day, my tone was off as a natural reaction to not liking how I was being treated and she said "Get the fuck out of my class." I understand if my tone came across the wrong way but obviously if I don't appreciate how I'm being treated it's going to show, especially after an entire week of dealing with it. But her response was not an appropriate or professional for what happened. Then she ignored me the rest of the class and didn't help with my model. (Sherri and another woman whose name I don't know helped me and they were amazing). My model even noticed and brought it up to me, without me saying anything, and agreed that if she were in my position she would never go back. I'm now doing an apprenticeship for microblading instead and I promise you learn so much more than you will here. Yes, it takes longer, but it's one on one, free, and I'll actually have her support for the entirety of my career unlike Arch Envy. read more

With everything going on with COVID I decided to book a last minute trip and immediately contacted the number on Arch Envy's Instagram page to reschedule my microshading brow appointment that I had scheduled for March 10th at noons I asked if I could swap dates with someone whose appointments was closer to the end of the March just to be safe. At first it seemed as though it wasn't an issue and I would be able to swap dates with someone who wanted to come in sooner. Im a cosmetologist and I understand that this could be an inconvenience that's why I reached out giving her time to fill that spot because I didn't want her to lose money especially during a time like this. They said give them a day which was fine with me, but in the midst of her trying to find me a spot I went ahead and booked another vacation. Today she reached out and everything was going great at first then I guess she gets a little frustrated and says I did not "Specify" according to her which day would be best. I get that, that was my mistake and I apologized for not specifying but then she keeps attacking me saying things like "you said you would be back on the 11th not the 25th" when she said that i responded "well I made it very clear with your assistant" and also told her that we could cancel my appointment. Extremely disappointed in the manner Ronli handled this and I will not be supporting this business nor will I refer anyone. read more

I am no stranger to permanent makeup and have been through many iterations of it (starting with the Asian tattoo machines with "bluish" ink, then to non-machine microblading to what it is today). Ronli is an amazing eyebrow artist and instructor. I was able to witness her teaching in action. She is an excellent coach for her students, truly pushing them out of their comfort zone so they are able to do the best job possible.
