Went there to get my nails done and they looked great. Unfortunately, they started chipping 2 days after getting them done. Contacted her about getting them fixed the next day but she didn't answer my text. Was out of town when she wanted me to come in so they never got fixed. Tried to book to get a refill 3 weeks later and I got cancelled on by the tech 3 times in a row. Tried to be accommodating but to get cancelled on 3 times with less than 30 minutes before each appointment shouldn't be acceptable. To allow your techs to cancel that often and yet charge full price if we as customers cancel within 48hrs is absurd. read more

I tried to come here twice to get my lashes done. The first time, my lash tech was 30minutes late and did a style completely different than I asked for. Half of the lashes fell off within 24 hours. The second time I went in to get a new set with a different tech, there was an utter lack of professionalism. The staff were taking shots, smoking weed, and discussing inappropriate topics of all sorts in the presence of clients and CHILDREN. I do not recommend this place to anyone! read more

It's been a while Yelp friends but I have to spread the word on this place. Wink'd is my absolute favorite lash bar and I have a great experience each time I work with these ladies! My lash tech is Camille and she is the best ever. She's professional, punctual, welcoming and a master lash slayer. My lashes are always done for at least 3 weeks and then I visit Camille for a fill. I love her service and I get tons of compliments. I can't say enough about Camille. She is always learning more about lash care, she shares her knowledge with her clients and she will have you in and out quickly, while doing a quality job. The Wink'd ladies offer mobile service and you can visit them in their convenient Silver Spring location. Mobile service is convenient because you can relax and be pampered in the convenience of your own home. The Silver Spring location is gorgeous, inviting, comfortable and clean. The building is easy to find, parking situation is easy and the entrance is in the back of the building. I would also recommend Mary, as she was my initial tech and took great care of my lashes. She too is professional, punctual, warm hearted and will slay your lashes in a timely manner. I found Winkd on IG and was super excited to lock in an appointment, just a couple weeks before leaving for Mexico. Booking was really easy and convenient through their online booking portal. They offer services from 9am - 9pm, seven days a week which is amazing and unlike any other salons around the DMV. Loved this lash boutique! It was super cute, girly, and so chic inside. I also thoroughly enjoyed listening to the music that was playing throughout the salon which was a mix of current hits instead of elevator style instrumental music I usually am stuck listening to while having my lashes done. Kiara, better known as Keys, was my lash technician and was waiting with a pleasant smile on her face when I arrived, despite my being a few minutes late. She was so personable, warm, and friendly that it felt like we'd known each other for years despite being my first visit to Winkd for lashes for my birthday trip. Keys was very informative, answered all my questions, and kept me very relaxed and entertained through my service. She accomplished both my lash extensions and brow tinting with such gentle care and precision, even though I was running late and she had another client right after my appointment. I'm not sure any other place or lash technician would have been so accommodating. Unfortunately, despite following the instructions I was given for lash care, my extensions only lasted me 4 days which was a bit disappointing for the $180 base price I paid for my set. My lash extensions don't always last as long as my friends' and colleagues' but i typically am able to keep them for at least 7-10 days minimum. I also wished the $30 brow tint would have come with a little brow trim or clean up, not a full shaping, arching, or waxing but a quick little trim or clean up would have been nice before the tint application. This would have been similar to how when I have my polish changed at my nail salon, they do a quick trim / file/ buff of any misshapen nails before polish application, as a courtesy. Those aspects would not deter me from recommending Keys or Winkd salon to a friend though, so check them out and get yourself WinkdByKeyyyss *****check them out with that name on IG). read more

Wink'd is my favorite lash salon. Scheduling and their policies are easy and convenient. The lash salon is so cute and so welcoming! Love the decor and the cleanliness! If I am able to go to Silver spring I go to Wink'd, it's worth the commute from Virginia! I have gotten my lashes done by Myra and she is so talented and does an amazing job! I came in with damaged lashes from a previous lash tech at a different salon and she knew what was the healthiest thing to do for my lashes. My natural lashes are now back to being healthy. Every time I've gone to Myra I've gotten hybrid and I'm obsessed! She is also certified in sensitive glue application and I'm going to see her soon to do that because of my sensitive eyes! Honestly, super disappointed. I found this place on Instagram, decided to go with a friend. Scheduling was easy and the pricing was really good for lashes. I paid $100 for the online sale thing, I arrived a little before 12 (my appointment time) and I waited a while, around 30 mins. Which I don't mind since I came with my friend who was scheduled for 2. This place is so gorgeous on the inside, I was so excited. I'm in the military and I've gotten my lashes done a few times but not as frequently since, and I'm a girly girl so I was excited to get them done again. This was the most painful it's ever felt getting my lashes done, it burned and my eye would not stop watering and twitching from how uncomfortable it was. I asked for a hybrid, and she recommend cat eye which I agreed with. She asked other questions about the length and the volume, and u told her she could really do what she recommended, and I appreciated her asking. My lash tech, Navaeh, finished after about 2 and a half hours (she was talking during this time, which I absolutely have no problem with, but she kept stopping to order food/talk with the lash tech next to her, which made it last longer) by the time I finished it was 2:30. She asked if I liked the lashes, and I asked her to add more on the end because it was missing some. She tried, but I think she ended up giving up because the lash ended up sticking to my bottom lash and she said she was done and there was no difference. It's been less than a week, I'm missing so many lashes, whether a lot fell out in that short amount of time or if there was just barley any to begin with I'm uncertain on, but regardless I'm pretty unhappy. I've had lashes done before, so I know about retention and she also gave me advice after the appointment. I traveled 40 minutes away because this place looked so cute and I was so excited to try it. I emailed the business around 2-3 days ago about it, never got an email back which motivated me to write this review. The lash tech seemed nice, this place looked super cool and I was super excited.
