I arrived 30 minutes early because I wasn't sure of the location. I was more than willing to wait until my appointment time, but she called me back about 10 minutes later. We had a brief consultation regarding the length and look I desired. She then made sure I was comfortable by offering pillows for under my legs and a blanket. She also asked if I preferred sensitive or regular glue. I'm glad she asked because my eyes are very sensitive. The procedure is scheduled for 90 mins. I believe it took her less time and that was with a a bathroom and stretch break in between. I asked if we had extra time if she could thread my eyebrows. This service was an additional $14, which is comparable to what our other companies in the area charge Overall, I am pleased with the service I received. My lashes are full and very natural looking. My eyebrows are nice and clean. Everything came out as requested. I plan to return in 2-3 weeks for a lash refill. They also offer punch cards for full lash sets (3 punches and you get 40% off the 4th) and eyebrow threading (5 punches and the 6th is free). Not a bad deal. Please note, they are in a shared space so it can get a little loud.

I sometimes felt the extensions done elsewhere were sometimes inconsistent in application and would look a bit heavy on me. Additionally, I was driving to Old Town when I live in the city and would often battle additional traffic as well as parking issues. So when I saw the fabulous reviews for Dupont Lash I decided to give them a shot. First, I was so pleased with how easy it was to book and that I was able to find availability the same week. That was challenging at the last place I went because there was only 1-2 lash techs. When I met Sara, she was so helpful in asking me what look I was going for. I showed her my past applications that were my absolute favorite as well and sharing with her the overall look I was going for. She understood the assignment immediately and nailed in on the first time. When I came back the second time I just wanted as very slight modification, and once again she executed it perfectly. The ambience is so amazing, I just want to hang out here all day and drink hot chocolate. The customer service is impeccable. "Just dip" does not mean you can't have cool designs or tips. It is just an alternative to acrylic that is healthier for your nails. Trust me. I won't steer you wrong. David is a true artist and approaches your nails like a canvas. I happen to have lots of pictures of what I want my nails to look like, but lack the creativity to design them myself. No worries. David is literally a "nail artist." I gave him a few colors and told him to do what he does...I trusted him, and he delivered in a big way. David is so focused on perfection and detail, I felt like I was a celebrity client! This is a long review to basically say that Cam Tu Beauty/The Hidden Jewel is THE best kept secret around.
